Hidden Industrial Lumber Mill - Virginia Outback (Abandoned Complex)

This the most unvandalized / untouched complex of any kind that I have ever explored.
Come along today as we explore an untouched abandoned Lumber Mill Complex hidden in the outback of Virginia. This Lumber Mill is multiple stories and consists of complex industrial components dating to the early 20th century. This site was found through searching the isolated regions of Virginia and accessed by walking miles down a railroad track.
The primary part of the complex is the processing plant which would have cut and configured the wood into what it would be distributed as on the market. The final part of the complex is where the product would be stored until it was sold. This Mill has not seen activity in decades which shows in the state in which it resides. The final part of the complex is extremely dilapidated and on the verge of giving way to the elements.

My husband enjoyed watching this very much. He says this was a large mill prob run by a timber company like GP. And a ton of stuff that could still be used in operations today. Thanks so much for sharing. There are a lot of areas of Virginia that are not that well known and esp those that have lost the industrial businesses that supported the towns. Stay safe.
