I have been struggling with the American cruisers in fact so much I'm still on the Pensacola aha glad this is a video as it will most definetly help me.
This ship teaches you how to be good with cruisers and punishes you for not being good, it's an amazing ship for beginners as it forces you to play good and get rid of bad habits and develope good ones I got a 89 percent win rate with a 59k average damage a game
Great video. Although, I can’t say I enjoyed the Pensacola (Citadel City). I found the slow turret traverse and fragility of the ship to be almost unbearable. The slow reload was a pain as well. I just never found myself having anything other than mediocre games. I was glad when I finished grinding it.
Kincaid is the best choice for Pensacola IMO. The maneuverability and turret traverse does more to increase offensive ability than Scott's skills. I run a Punch Through commander on almost all my cruisers but don't miss it on Pensacola

Good. I figured this might be a good idea.

89%? How many games have you played?
@@Xarkun like 5 i guess hahahha
This ship may be a floating citadel, but it sure does have decent guns.
It’s a pretty powerful ship. The New Orleans and Baltimore are great too.

I don’t particularly care for the Pensacola either. But I like the New Orleans and Baltimore.
Hey you did my suggestion! Cant wait to watch
Yeah. I’ll see about the Scharnhorst and Hood too.
Could you do a video on the iwaki?
I could indeed
Xarkun _ 😁
It is also possible to citadel T4 Battleships. I have recorded myself citadeling a New York at 10km. Not had chance to citadel T5 Battleships
I’ve citadeled a few Fusos.
Ah cool, so it is possible haha. I've tried but I mainly ever over pen or just straight pen with high damage
Great content, keep it up! 😎
Thanks!
No radar? Does New Orleans have radar?
No. Only the Baltimore has radar.
Indianapolis and Atlanta, too, but those are premiums
I run kinkaid on my pensacola because the turret traverse is so bad
I probably would if I had him at a higher level.
On my build, he cuts the rudder shift to 4.3 ish seconds, also...makes open water not such a scary place for the Pensy...

You’re probably right about Kincaid. I just don’t have him at a high level. As the American light cruisers come out, I’ll probably bump him up.
Its bloody hard to play well.
It certainly can be.
This thing explodes if enemy ships look at it the right way
It certainly can.
