- Hey guys, this video is one of the longest videos that I have ever made. But i spent a lot of time and research to make this video for you guys about a rig that I have been using for some years now. And I have felt that this rig was something that I was comfortable to talk about for you guys. As this rig has been producing me some quality amount of fish over the years. I have caught a good amount of smallmouth and largemouth using this rig for different bodies of water across Illinois. This rig is simple and supper effective for anybody that is a bass fisherman and the versatility of this rig is awesome! I hope you guys really liked and learned something new about this video and really helps you guys become a better bass fisherman. Nice video. What size split ring do you use? I see you use smaller 1/0 hooks so I am guessng a #2 split ring? The hook has to move freely on the split ring.

Can it work with ewg hook, bigger shad, for pike? I got lake with lot of threes under water, this seems like a only way to get them, bonus is there is also big perch here.. Planing to use it with 15cm shads
wondering whats the point vs normal ledhook. gues if one has a lot of texas hooks lying around you can get a traditional jig of it by jika-ing it?
