Final Design Revisions:
1: The feeder motors ended up being driven in the opposite direction then what was said in the video.
2:The egg belt and primary rod conveyor is variable speed the final rod conveyor is fixed speed.

This is a very impressive! I adore the engineering of the installation however I cannot imagine how much it cost and how indebted you have now become, You are a tyre guy? Also just because its not caged dosnt mean it's not industrial cruelty to such an extent it would make a Nazi blush. GFYS.

I'm curious how many eggs get layed on the floor, and for culling you would probably have to gas them, yeah? I wouldn't want to try hand catch them. It would be interesting to see how that manure system holds up in a long cold winter.

I know those birds are used to people and friendly so not hard to catch. They also are trained to roost. It was hard for the first few nights training them to get off the floor in the evening but they got the hang of it I am told.

Amazing setup.. What would something like this cost ballpark. And chow many birds in this setup?

I know it’s into the millions. Probably 70k birds but that’s just off the cuff. I’d have to ask them. Our old 500 footer we used to have held 80k but that’s single story and with cages.

I’m not sure but I’d say the renovations were close to 2 million usd. That’s a pure guess.
