    Hey everyone! You may have noticed that I have not made a video for a while. Hopefully that changes this week! The reason I haven't made any videos recently is that I started MBA school and every time I get free time it goes towards studying or helping one of you wonderful individuals buy in Utah. I am still practicing real estate and would love to hear from you! My email is grant.evans@utahhomes.com. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about Utah. Thank you for your support and can't wait to share more content with you!

    We left California in 2006. We had a home built in West Jordan, but had we known....we would have rather moved to South Jordan or Draper. Absolutely LOVE Utah! Much better quality of life here and activities are endless. We enjoy Moab, Park City (Sundance FF), & Jazz games the most.

    • @ronrowan4828

      @Ian Just to educate you Ian, there are more conservatives in California than in Utah. Why? Cali is the most populous state in the US and as a result has more conservatives than any red state. However, liberals outnumber cons in California for the same reason.

    • @ronrowan4828
      @ronrowan4828 4 роки тому +2

      @Ian Thank you for revealing your gross ignorance Ian. My statement has nothing to do with your "logic". These are called facts. I made no conclusion derived from any logical process. I merely pointed out what anyone who looks up the statistics knows. Use of logic never came into the picture, and was not necessary. The vast majority of people leaving California are not "leftist" Marxists either, but are conservatives. If you were educated in written English, you would know that "Marxist" is capitalized, thus again demonstrating your lack of education. Another failure added to your unwillingness to do some research, or just plain laziness on your part.

    • @ronrowan4828
      @ronrowan4828 4 роки тому +1

      @Ian Nice try "dude", but you lost the argument when you resorted to your childish emotions. I will restate the facts of my original statement so your small unintelligent child's brain can understand them. California has a population of 39.94 million of which 21 million are registered voters. Of registered voters, 25% are Republican, Libertarian, and like myself, American Independent. That means 5,250,000 conservative voters in California. Utah has a population of 3,231,792, therefore RED voters in California outnumber the entire population of Utah. There are 30 states that went red in 2016, the means 20 states voted blue. Of those red states, only Texas and Florida have significantly large conservative voting populations. 4,685,047 of Texas registered voters cast a vote for Trump in 2016 again showing that there are more red VOTERS in California than Texas. Florida's voters for Trump was 4,617,886, again showing that red voters in California outnumber Florida's conservative voters. Are you getting this now? California has MORE RED VOTERS than any RED state! Also 74% of Californian's leaving the state are conservatives. That means of all Californian's leaving, only 26% are liberals. So you're statement of red states being inundated with "lefties" is entirely emotional and not based on facts. If you think your little boy emotions are superior to the FACTS I've presented here, by all means, stick with them. Marxist is still capitalized by educated people, so your excuse for misspelling doesn't wash, and you don't get to change the English language for the rest of us. And lasty, you can "FUCK OFF" yourself imbecile.

    I love living in Murray, Utah. It is family friendly, great senior citizen centers, close to skiing, neighbors are friendly and we watch out for each other. The schools are great too, my children have disabilities and were helped through the schools and provided the best IEPs (individual Educational plans) I was in the PTA while attending the Salt Lake Community College. Murray has it's own utility company and they strive on keeping the utilities lower than other companies. Fashion place Mall has everything I need and it is only 3 blocks from my house, just past the freeway entrance to I-15 and I-215. I believe the violent crime rate is lower where I live too. Everything I need is within 1 or 2 miles...hospital, mall, stores, doctor clinics, dentists, Moran Eye clinic too. I love it here

    I grew up in Lehi. In 15 years it's gone from a small rural town to a bustling tech city, especially on the north side around Travers mtn. If you are not LDS and are moving to Utah for work or something, I suggest living in Salt lake county, preferably around Holladay or Cottonwood Heights if you can afford it. Non-mormons will be much more comfortable living up there compared to anything in Utah county(which is every city on this list)

    As someone who does not live in one of those 5 cities, I have to say I actually pretty much agree with you. Although I would probably put Spanish Fork instead of Springville. Also I would consider Saratoga and AF close enough to Lehi to leave Lehi off the list. Since I think it would be better to live in adjacent city and be close enough to Lehi, but out of the hustle and bustle. I'd probably put Springville back in Lehi's place.

The traffic is horrible, the farmland disappearing, the inversions are getting worse, cost of living is going up. But what I Fear most is the Liberal/Democrat ideology that you people bring. Utah is run by Conservative, Republicans that is why it is great. So don't forget the Liberal Shithole from whence you came, and don't California My Utah. P.S. @@ericfacer1506 Hi Eric! I’m sorry that Cache Valley is changing so much. Coming from California, I know they can have a different political view that Utah is accustomed to. I think it’s important to remember that not everyone in CA is liberal just like how not everyone in Utah is conservative. People are looking for a better quality of life. And if Utah fits that desired lifestyle, chances are they might have the same political view as the majority of Utah.

    Hello! Would Salt Lake be a good city for a 24 year old newly graduated nurse? Or maybe provo? Is there any nightlife?

    • @UtahHomesWithGrantEvans

      Amanda Tutton Salt Lake is great! The university of Utah hospital is always looking for nurses. Murray has the biggest hospital and I know a nurse there that can help you find a job. Nightlife is better in salt lake than Provo. Generally almost everything closes at about 11 or earlier. NBA players complain about it. Provo center street is most of the nightlife in Provo. My brother is the head labor and delivery nurse in Provo and I could help you get a job there if you are able to meet with me and wife so we can get to know you before we recommend you :) what are your thoughts?

    Hey man! I currently live in Massachusetts but I really wanna move to Utah and I was thinking about Herriman Utah. Any thoughts on that?

      Jordan Lucas hey man! I think Herriman is awesome! I wouldn’t count out places like Riverton and South Jordan that are nice areas as well. A little bit cheaper than Herriman as well. Just curious, what draws you to Herriman?
      Also, my wife and I LOVE Massachusetts! Went there for our honeymoon and saw a Red Sox game! My cousin lives in Salem!

      Grant Evans Yeah Salems a fun little city! I never really looked at South Jordan or Riverton actually! I have a friend that lives in Herriman and she says she loves it. I just would prefer somewhere that’s relatively cheap but also close to the park city area because I love skiing

      Jordan Lucas I love Salem! You coming out any time soon? I’m originally from California so I never learned how to ski, but I’ll take you and your friend to dinner!

      Russell Raymundo Spanish Fork is good! The Top 5 are totally subjective and differ from person to person. I’d put SF as my number 6.

    Your first two are right next to each other, granted they're both really good. Tooele valley is reasonably priced, about to boom, and not a far drive from SLC.

    Im a college graduate with a bachelors in exercise science I ‘ve always wanted to visit and live in Utah, this video was very helpful. Do you know any areas that are always looking to higher or do internships in my career field that are fairly cheap?

    • @UtahHomesWithGrantEvans
      @UtahHomesWithGrantEvans  5 років тому

      Damarion Mills Hey Damarion! What internships are you looking to do? And define what would be fairly cheap for you.

    • @OVOmills12
      @OVOmills12 5 років тому

      Preferably a paid internship ship, involving rehab or youth sports training something in that area

      Daniel & Camille Page I love Draper! I would’ve put that on there if there was some more first-time home buyer options. Bluffdale kind of takes that spot with the new townhome communities
