    Great video dude. Got me hyped for this game. The screen reader seems a lot nicer than previous ones and the nav assist looks very interesting!

    So happy their going back, sword fighting is ok, but a stealth kill back then was neat, especially poisoning them.

    One thing I am also excited for is that you can play the game in Arabic. My fiance is Muslim and we're both excited.
    I too loved Black Flag, but had A Lot of trouble with the AI. This October is very dangerous for me...

    Hi steve , that game sound very good. I still have a concern about blind accessibility , is there a way to track items and humans like in the last of us ? Because we absolutely need a way to find the different items on the map. Maybe without a human scan we can go through the game , but we at least need a item tracking function. Let me know if you have some informations about it. Thanks steve.

      I currently don't have any information about that. I do know that for some of the mission objectives it will track objects where you need to find the next waypoint. But for NPC's unless they are the next main objective there is no direct path to follow like in The Last Of Us.

    The game isn't fully accessible. The totally blind player can't play the story of the game. That means like grand theft auto we can't complete the missions. However, we play to destroy, kill, and steal cars. In fact, I am really proud of the latest games. I hope they add accessible game for us.

    I am fully blind, and kind of excited about this. Hopefully it stays accessible on the final product, and hopefully they keep developing this in the future. Thank you Steve for the info, just always make sure you give us plenty of gameplay with accessibility features for us who are blind. do you have a PlayStation 5, or just an xbox? I have a PlayStation 5, and there are a couple games that I have that are accessible, but I was just curious how many games on Xbox catalog are accessible to this point. Is there an updated list of accessible games for blind or anything

      LOL just like you heard in this video, most, if not all phones nowadays have a built-in screen reader so that blind people can still use the device. I am on a Lenovo think phone by Motorola using Google's Android accessibility suite. There is also voice dictation that helps instead of physically typing.

      Hey, another blind player here, the new Mortal Kombat 1 is almost completely accessible for us fully blind gamers even coming with audio descriptions. The next Spider-Man game also looks promising with the updated accessibility features. I pre-ordered as soon as I learned about it. Lol. But I want to wait until there’s a full review of it. PS5 is probably the most accessible console right now.

      @@ricosanchez3432 oh cool, if you don’t mind me asking, what games do you have on your PlayStation five that you play? I have Brock the investigator, God of war, Ragnarok, that came with my consul, and last of us, part one and part two.

      @@blind-droidtech1696 also got the God of War Ragnarok PlayStation 5 bundle lol. Unfortunately, there aren’t many games that are fully accessible for completely blind players. Me personally I play a lot of fighting games because I like the genre and it is easy to play because they are mostly two dimensional. Other than that, I have pretty much all the games you mentioned, The Last of Us series, GOWR… and that’s about it. MK1 as I said, added a lot of accessibility features, and it would be worth checking out if you want to have another accessible game in your collection. Unfortunately, those are the most accessible mainstream action/adventure games thus far not counting audio games or games specifically catered for us.. The more recent assassins Creed games are kind of hit and miss, I enjoy my independence when gaming so I’m not spending a dime on them. I’m hoping that Spider-Man 2 is going to be Mostly playable for us but it also concerns me because it is part open world as well. We’ll see when it comes out.

    Can you clarify the navigation assist i didn't get it

    • @SteveSaylor
      @SteveSaylor  Рік тому

      For blind players if you doing a main story mission if you turn the camera and if it points in the direction of the next waypoint the narrator will read the title of that mission and how far away in metres the next objective is and indicates you are facing in the right direction. It also coincides with the compass too so if you're pointed in the right direction, the waypoint will appear in the centre of the compass.

      Without a keyboard shortcut, this feature would not be very helpful since a blind user would not be able to see the screen and navigate to the mission name.

    • @ricosanchez3432
      @ricosanchez3432 Рік тому

      @@meow_meow_J yeah I also have concerns about this. Like what if you’re not in a point close enough for the accessibility to detect the mission objective, why didn’t they just copy the last of us traversal assistance and with just a button the camera focuses on the main objective,
