The Savior - Lyric Video

I wrote this song, The Savior, probably close to 20 years ago. I may have done a rough demo at some point, but for whatever reason it flew under the radar and I forgot about it for years. That is, until four or five years ago when I visited with my friend, Star Bright. We were talking about music and she asked me, "What's that song about getting to Heaven and seeing the Son?" I had to search my mind for a minute before the light bulb turned on and a little snippet of the song in question came back to me.
"I think it's called The Savior," I said.
"Yeah, that's the one! That's my favorite song that you wrote!"
After that, every time I visited Star and we talked about music, she'd bring up that song.
So now I'm dedicating The Savior to my dear friend, Starlet Bright - thank you for all your encouragement and support. And thanks for playing that record in your mind all this time and reminding me of a song long forgotten.
Also, thanks to the amazing Johnny Cantu for lending his incredible piano talent to this track!
