Hebrews 13:15 says “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” That means that we should have a deep supply of material stored up that we can draw on, like an endless conveyor belt of praise, ready to bring up at any moment. How do we get this supply of praise and worship? By reading, studying, and thinking about the attributes and character of God that He has revealed to us through His Word!
I wrote “Adore” on an old, out-of-tune piano in the music room of my church. I wanted to write a song that focused solely on who God is and offer a call to worship with the awe and adoration that He deserves. It was originally released in 2022, and remastered for this release in 2024.
