100 Days Inside Juvenile Detention: Kevin's Outcome Years Later

- In this video we look back at the weeks our cameras spent inside a juvenile detention facility as teens and staff maneuvered life behind bars. For some teens, this stint in detention was their first; for others, they had been in "juvie" before. For teenager Kevin, he had been inside detention for 99 days and wondering when he'd ever go home.
As the weeks went by, we watched detention officers go through their daily routine in the detention pods and cell blocks, and watched as teens went through everyday life behind bars. We also learned more about Kevin's full story, his family drama, his dad in prison, and ultimately, how things went on release day after nearly 100 days behind bars.

Advisement means from the length of time during the length of time you cannot remain non compliant with the courts orders
His mother didn't do a good job bringing up both boys and the dad was no help either, no wonder the 2 of the boys ended up in Juvenile prison.

I did time in Juvenile lock up. On several occasions I was strip searched by a female officers. Especially after visits , they would look under the “sack” and bum bum. I think they would normally have a guy do it if available but I remember there were way more females working in that facility when I was there. Cheers from Utah 🎉

Honestly seeing that code as a kid on MSNBC was extreme as a 33 year old adult I'd rather de escalate or not be involved with anything I've worked in a variety of psych hospitals I don't want to deal with any cutting up at all I feel bad because I've been arrested as a juvenile alot I have been involved with some really nasty places they sent me one great place I don't brag most of my friends know my charges are officially exponged I've been awesome I served in the navy as a corpsman I've worked in some of the best hospitals I've been treated by the best hospitals to this day I'm seeing a notable psychiatrist he's very knowledgeable very respected he's ultimately the best person I hope Kevin is doing well and better I hope my speech of what I've been through is motivation to someone out there I love calamari productions videos there a awesome thing to watch thank you calamari productions
