As good as "analog horror" Mario 64 videos can be, they never hit in a way that I could relate. I was too young to own a N64 and I only played the DS remake during my childhood. This video hit the exact spot of weirdness imo, not too much, but just enough for those who've played the game something's going on. Cool video.
A lot of them are just cheap scares, too. It feels (felt? Do they still make them??) overdone

I'm actually begging that this is something that will be playable in the future. I genuinely need this, this is everything my clueless childhood self hunting for Waluigi in this game ever wanted! If there's any way this can be supported then please! Phenomenal job, I am actually speechless!

This reminds me of when SM64 DS and rumors of Waluigi really had a big part of my childhood
Back then, i had dreams of hidden areas in the game, I'd wake up and try to find the areas in the real game

I'm not sure how viable this is, but if there's any chance this could ever see some sort of release, that would be incredible. Been wanting to see this brought to life for at least 12 years now.

Actually I think it's actually just adding Waluigi to the game as another playable character and along with his own power flower. Which I think will be super speed.

Oh my... This video unlocked a lot of memories, and I didn't expect this urban legend to come resurfacing now. I remember the deep dive that WWWWario did (back in 2013-2014) about the Waluigi theory. You and the rest of the contributors did an exceptional job of mimicking the style of those DS gameplay videos, and of the images that WWWWario had shown in his explanation. Just clear enough to send the imagination flying, and blurry enough to hide the truth behing a veil of mystery. +1 Subscriber!
Funnily enough I had a dream that Waluigi, Daisy, and even Peach were unlockable characters.You had to do something with Wario to get Waluigi, do something with Luigi to get Daisy, and lose Mario's hat to the bird in the desert level, then send Daisy to get it, then she'd wear it and fight Bowser (up the endless stairs), when after she beats him Peach would be unlocked
Literally the most cathartic thing for the people who were kids back during the rumors... Thank you and your team for this, looking forward to more ❤

Wow, this is honestly really cool! I always wanted to do something like this with my Waluigi mod but was never far enough into SM64DS hacking to make anything as cool as this lol. It's just like all the classic Waluigi rumors brought to life.

I saw your first breaking the barrier videos when they were released and you're still the best at whatever genre of Mario dream videos this is. With this one I think it might have been better if the Waluigi/piranna plant level had the sunny sky backdrop and played Bob-Omb-Battlefield to help differentiate it from the Goombah boss level. Physical aesthetics could stay the same. Looking forward to the next one!

I swear to this day that my friend had a version of this game where it was possible to enter the door in the moat before you drained it. It was one of those hacked cartidges from China with like 50 games on it. If you swam towards the door and then turned 180 degrees, a door would spawn behind you and you could get inside. It doesn't even matter, but I just remember it so vividly even though I was only like 5

Alt unverse where we actual found Waluigi maybe Arceus2401 was from this unverse or simallar one who came our unverse not knowing we can never find Waluigi besides his best efforts to help us.

I would really love it because it would really pay homage to me when I was a kid thinking that waluigi was a secret character in the original Mario 64 DS finding ways to unlock them but couldn't. With this mod I can play as waluigi. I am wondering if this mod is even released

I can't believe someone managed to have actual lost footage of Waluigi in Super Mario 64 DS I thought those low res images back in the early ages were the only sources and possibly fake, you are such a legend for managing to preserve this!

Hopefully this can become playable, although I fully understand that it will take time to complete.
I'm intrigued that inside the black box, in addition to the entrance to the negative version of the second floor of the castle, there are more doors and one with a large star, so one could infer that there are plans to include more stages.
As for the level to get Waluigi's key in the room of mirrors in the negative world, it was a good idea to use Mario's because it does look like a garden. What makes it different from Mario's is that in this one some paths have been changed and it doesn't have toxic liquid, but the platforms are in the air and that makes it more difficult.
However, there is something I don't understand and that is why in the negative version of the second floor they have put all the walls full of the Jolly Roger Bay paintings (on the second floor of the castle also this one, but there are also the Bom-bomb paintings, the one of the Mountain, etc), including the room with the 3 paintings of the Goombas that are replaced by Jolly Roger Bay. I don't know if it refers to the Submerged Castle.

@@TBoz_bowling No, Goomboss, King Boo, and Chief Chilly stages have 2 stars, and I remember Waluigi having a higher jump than Yoshi, better swim and run than luigi, and able to break black bricks like wario, he's also taller than this, and I remember, he can fly after backflipping.

@@TBoz_bowling The black box entrance is real, but, not the whole room, if you want to access the place, 1st. beat Bowser with all 150 stars, and watch the ending, then, be Wario, and go into the frontyard of the castle, and use the cannon, and do a back flip there, then, you can see the place, there are challenge rooms in this place, but every time you try to enter them not as Waluigi, you get denied access to them, so the room in the middle, is where to find Waluigi's Painting, it's blocked by a black brick, and the stage is beach styled, and you spawn on a purple switch, the boss is Petey Piranha, once you touch the purple Waluigi switch, the rec room will change, as in, the White Room, now has Purple Lining and carpet on it, and there is an upside down L on top of it, and when you haven't unlocked Waluigi, it will say, "It's Locked, someone is picking the door's lock on the other side."
You lied, I literally launched wario into the area from the cannon like you said and nothing happened.

Oh my god this is childhood turned into reality... I remember watching the old video of someone explaining all that happened in the video but never showing actual gameplay. Now feels like it has turned to real... Had I been a kid I would have believed this so hard 😂 kind of those Pokémon tutorials of how to get such and such legendary but it was actually footage, or those of "Press select and press X or Y, then Arceus appears"... Very nostalgic 😊
