I imagine Jesus sits down in the pew in front of me and we have a conversation. I don’t know how I had that thought but it is intimate. We talk and I see joy in His eyes. He smiles and sometimes He has a gentle quiet laugh at something I said. It is so loving. Nothing forced, planned, just deep loving friends. It’s the best experience I have in His presence. I don’t ask for anything we’re both relaxed. No questions, no answers.

The Image of God inside us "realizes" Jesus as the Blessed Sacrament. Yes, we carry the realization with us through the day. The inner Presence realizes the oneness with the outer Presence as our desires calm down. The Holy Spirit enkindles in us the realization that Jesus is our teacher as our 'lower self' recedes. We realize the Mystical Body of Christ in ourselves and simultaneously in each other. We share and get to know the Image of God inside us.
