Short Track Racing Highlights: Caraway Speedway Challenger Division 50 Laps (9/7/24)

9/7/24 saw the always exciting Challenger Division roll into #CarawaySpeedway to race in memory of those who lost their lives in the 9/11 tragedy. With all of the hard chargers in attendance from the division dominators of The Ledbetter Family to the fast youngster #08 Brody Duggins it’s sure to be some great racing action!
Race Summary: The race saw track veteran and multi-time winner in 2024 #70 Gary Ledbetter and new comer #4 Easton Brewer lead the field to green. Every thing was smooth sailing for the #70 of Ledbetter for the first 5 laps. Lap 5 would see a caution for fluid on the track as #4 Easton Brewer’s engine would let go in turns 1 & 2. On the restart the feud between #32 Dalton Ledbetter and #12 Daniel Schadt would continue as the #32 of Ledbetter would spin the #12 of Schadt in turn 2. The race would then go green for 20 Laps seeing #32 Dalton Ledbetter do his best to get around the leader. #50 Enoch McNeil. Lap 31 would see our 3rd caution as #88 McKyla Spinks would go around after clipping the curb in turn 1. Lap 45 would see the #88 of Spinks in trouble again as she would be hit after spinning ending her night. In the end #50 Enoch McNeil would walk way with a win at Caraway!
