Waterloo was where Napoleon was defeated. This song is a metaphor for a woman who gives into love and surrenders to a man . ABBAS first big hit and won the Eurovision song contest in 1974. First time Sweden ever won it.
In April of this year it will be 50 years since ABBA won the Eurovision contest... And because Sweden won this contest in 2023, this year the contest will take place in STOCKHOLM!... (The universe loves ❤ ABBA) See you next, Chase. Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
50 years ago this year when this song burst onto our TV screens and launched ABBAs career worldwide. It was unlike anything that had come before in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Chase you now understand the magic of ABBA ,you are spot on ,every song is a perfect gem in every way in their own unique style and genre .This song won the Eurovision song contest in 1974 and announced to the world that ABBA had arrived and they have never left ,they are here for ETERNITY.
The Battle of Waterloo was fought on Sunday 18 June 1815, near Waterloo, marking the end of the Napoleonic Wars. There is a video of them performing this at Eurovision. (they wear the same outfits)
The ‘singer’ in the song is comparing the defeat of Napoleon at Waterloo with their own surrender to a lover who knows that she cannot win the love battle and will go back to him.
This was their international breakthrough. It’s the 50th anniversary this year. There will be lots of fan celebrations and events. Along with reissues and merch.
Chase, considering how much you love Benny's piano playing, you might be interrested in checking out some of his solo piano renditions of his most famous songs (ABBA, musicals etc).
Here is ABBA's live performance at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. (The song is short because at the time Eurovision rules stated that entries must not exceed 3 minutes in length.) Needless to say, ABBA won and they were launched to international fame. ua-cam.com/video/3FsVeMz1F5c/v-deo.htmlsi=HGKbk4znXirNQLQt
Being a Eurovision Song Contest entrant, the group wanted to do all that was necessary to attract attention/appeal to as wide an audience as possible. Which explains to some degree the use of the costumes and the definite, 'glam rock', vibe that's going on in this song. I recognise it of old, of course, having grown up during that period. But, it's something you might want to look into if you want to understand what the, 'in thing', was in the early 70's. As the name would suggest, the music was very up-beat, with the performers playing the part of, 'glamourous pop/rock stars', with outlandish, bright, shiny clothing, platform shoes, and a touch of eye-liner and glitter in some instances. ABBA won the contest in 1974, and like many others, were an item for a short while. Only ABBA then backed-up their credentials a year later with, 'Mama Mia', and the rest, as they say, is history.
Great reaction Chase. This is the song that launched ABBA in 1974 in which they won The Eurovision Song Contest (Europe's premiere music contest). Waterloo is the historic battle in which French General Napolean "surrendered" thus, the term is a reference to surrendering in love. (If you listen again, it will make sense). As you are seeing- you can't go wrong with ABBA. They are the most diverse group, and every song is a Masterpiece. Love your enthusiasm!
"Waterloo" (1974) is one of my favorites, and is in my Top 5 of all ABBA songs (with S.O.S. , Dancing Queen, The winner takes it all & Don't shut me down) and I think that is the song that change history, not only for ABBA, for Sweden and Eurovision too "Waterloo" was the song that ABBA wrote especially to participate in the annual Eurovision Song Contest By the rules of the competition the songs could not exceed 3 minutes (that its 2:46) and ABBA made a masterpiece! ABBA sing it in Swedish, for the local selection in Sweden (February 1974) and finally ABBA sing it in English in the final held in England (April 1974) before 16 interpreters and songs from all over Europe. "Waterloo" and ABBA win Eurovision for first time to Sweden It will be Their first big worldwide hit: #1 in UK and half Europe (also South Africa), and Top 10 in U.S., Canada, Australia , New Zealand and the rest of Europe ABBA recording "Waterloo" in swedish, english, german and french Several years later, in 2005, to the 50th Eurovision anniversary, "Waterloo" was chosen as the Best Song in all the history of Eurovisión and very soon, in the week of April 6, will be the 50th Anniversary of ABB's victory These Is the First Official video of ABBA "Waterloo" Is the 13th ABBA song with More views in UA-cam, but the 7th in Spotify i hope you have a nice weekend Kind regards from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South América
"Waterloo" is a town in what is today Belgium, famous for the Battle of Waterloo which was the French emperor Napoleon's (1769-1821) final battle and the end of the Napoleonic wars of the early 19th century. In the song ABBA are comparing a relationship to Napoleon's loss.
I think you would enjoy doing an ABBA documentary video, although it may have to be cut into two or three parts but there are many good ABBA documentary videos out there that are very interesting.
Eurovision that year was held in Brighton, England. Each country had a jury which awarded points 1 to 10 to 10 countries (not their own). The UK gave ABBA ZERO POINTS! They of course still won and went to the top of the UK hit parade.
Another great reaction! I'm a huge ABBA fan, so at our wedding my now husband and his wedding party got dressed up as the members of ABBA and danced to this song. He really surprised me and all of our guests!
That's the song that really started ABBA in 1974. They won the Eurovision Song Contest back then. Waterloo is a village in Belgium where Napoléon lost a battle in 1815.
One more comment about the special importance of "Waterloo" in ABBA ABBA's victory in Eurovision with "Waterloo" was undoubtedly NOT an isolated and fortunate event, but the result of study and strategy work for a whole year ABBA in 1973 could not qualify for the final with their song "Ring Ring" Supposedly the Swedish jury hurt them, since afterwards the "Ring Ring" was a great success (the blonde singer Agnetha sang with an 8 month pregnancy, and it would have been difficult for Her to go to the final if they had won) This frustration did not paralyze them The manager was convinced of ABBA's potential and of delivering the big blow the following year And they worked on 'The Song' following the same 'glam rock' style of "Ring Ring" (for this They put aside the more classic "Hasta Mañana") by February 1974 the voting system changed in Sweden and "Waterloo" clearly triumphed and the next day ABBA already recorded a promotional clip (not these) with "Waterloo" in English (later They also recorded it in German and French) for the presentation in Brighton UK, the manager, knowing about international television, foresaw all the details to capture the attention of the public and the jurors, knowing that as Swedes without musical history they were at a disadvantage ABBA's unprejudiced joyous and fantastic performance further enhanced "Waterloo", the most disruptive song in all Eurovision history. (I suggested before to do specialy for these song the historic kive perfomance at Eurovisión, but you miss it ) "Waterloo" was different, ABBA was different and Different is Good! You have to watch and listen to Olivia Newton John (UK) and Gigliola Cinquetti (Italy) to see the more classic songs they would have won (or the great number from Holland) ... if they hadn't come across ABBA and "Waterloo" that epic and iconic performance of ABBA at Brighton UK to Eurovisión 1974 achieved the international awareness and diffusion that it sought for its music. They were invited to television shows across Europe, starting with "Top of the Pops" in England the same week. "Waterloo" conquered the coveted British ranking and dominated all of Europe, and its power crossed the oceans and reached America Oceania and Africa: #1 South Africa #3 New Zealand #4 Australia #6 U.S. Billboard #7 Canada Despite the significance of such a victory, some mistrust remained with these 'unknown and strange Swedes' The following ABBA topics did not have the same repercussion due to this prejudice Until, a year and a half later, it was the turn of "S.O.S." , broke down all barriers and ABBA definitively began its era of dominance throughout Europe and countries on other continents for almost a decade in a highly competitive English language music market. And this includes the outstanding fact of recording in 1980 a full album in Spanish For all this, and much more, April 6 (1974) is the night that changed ABBA's life, but also changed the history of rock & pop music, with the birth of the ABBA Legend, its best exponent since The Beatles A new suggestion could be: "People need love" (1972) first single recorded by ABBA it have the first TV perfomance in Sweden I send you my best wishes Buenos Aires, Argentina South América
Pure joy for me 😃. I was 6 years old and we was home at my best friend and we already was ABBA fans 😀. They had not won the Swedish 'Melodifestivalen' the year before when they sing Ring Ring. Now they won even in Brighton. It was hug ❤. Memories Memories early this morning! Thank you!
2min/46secs of Abba catchyness were enough to get this world's attention hooked on them.Twas their breakthru worldwide debut. They did their best they could cause they had to make it.
Chase, you've heard some of ABBA's songs and you're commenting on the originality and variation in their songs. I like it! You haven't heard the half of it. Work though the recommendations, pick out others that appeal to you and enjoy the journey. ABBA are unique. And of course, as many have said below, ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo on Saturday 6 April 1974: named after the battle fought on Sunday 18 June 1815. I'm looking forward to watching your reactions to all of ABBA's other songs - I mean all!
I was a kid that year and I remember this was the very first song I ever heard from them! They exploded worlwide and as they say in Super Trouper "a succes that never ends" The Battle of Waterloo was a decisive confrontation between Napoleon Bonaparte and his European enemies. It occurred on June 18, 1815 in Waterloo, Belgium. Napoleon's French army faced the British, Dutch, and German armies of the Duke of Wellington, and the Prussian army of Marshal Blücher. The battle ended with Napoleon's defeat and the end of his empire.
So, as mentioned in other comments, this year marks the 50th anniversary of Abba winning Eurovision in Brighton UK, in April. It also marks the 25th anniversary of the Mamma Mia stage musical on London. It will also be the 2nd anniversary of the Abba Voyage London concert. It will also be the 32nd year of the Abba Gold album, which is still high in the UK charts (10th best seller on 2023, 2nd best seller of all time in the UK, over 1100 weeks in the UK top 100).
The reason for the short length of the song is that the rules of the Eirovision Song Contest state no song must be longer than 3 minutes. Once in the very early years one song was barely 2 minutes while another was 4:30. In 1998 when we were hosting the conductor of the Greek song ended up in a row with the musical director and organisers. His arrangment of their song lasted 3:15 and they had rehersed it that way. He was told either chop it or Greece do not take part, rules are rules. He chopped it.
Regarding the music genre that song was a weird marriage of pop music with rock n roll and worked so fine. And btw Abba were never just a disco group as a few ones still insist. It wasn't just one 'colour'. They were so multicolourful you wouldn't get bored.
ABBA had a few singles released before this, but they weren't hitting the big time. Then in 1973, they heard the 'Wizzard' song 'See My Baby Jive' and loved the sounds coming from it. So they tried a similar production with 'Waterloo' and it worked. And the rest is history 😊
Meeting your Waterloo means suffering a defeat that you can not recover from. The Swedish tax authorities would not accept costumes as a tax deductable expense unless the clothes were obviously unfit for use outside the stage. This is their breakthrough song. At this time such costs actually mattered to them. By the time money became abundant, the over the top costumes were established as part of ABBA's image.
Loving your Abba journey Chase and your sheer joy on each occasion at discovering another gem is beautiful - makes my day every time! You really do get a different experience with every song And you have so many wonderful discoveries to come.
As a result of the European Song Contest the song "Waterloo" was the first major hit in the European music charts for ABBA. Please add the rock band Pink Floyd to your review list. Their hits include: Wish You Were Here , Comfortably Numb , Another Brick in the Wall , See Emily Play , Money etc etc
You seem to really be enjoying some of the 1970s great artists. Another group that had a long career (60's to the 90's) were the Bee Gees. The majority of people probably only know them because of their huge hits from the movie Saturday Night Fever, but they have many more great ones. Ballads like Too Much Heaven and How Deep is your Love , to up tempo songs like Stayin Alive, Night Fever, Jive Talkin were all huge. And there are many more on top of those. Cheers!
Thanks, Chase! ↩ Waterloo was the battle which ended the Napoleonic Wars. It has come to represent a turning point (and is applied in numerous situations). In this song it means when a person finally falls in love with someone they had been resisting.
well I might as well chime in with suggestions. -Visitors (Unlike anything you've heard anywhere Frida In the Lead) -Like an Angel Passing through my room (Just Frida completely different than others) Then you need to catch up on some Frida Leads (Agentha's great but so is Frida) -I Wonder -I let the music speak -Super Trouper -Our Last Summer -Put on your White sombrero -One Man one Woman At that point you haven't made a dent in Frida's leads and you haven't made a dent in ABBA tracks either. But it's a start. I guess some fans would disagree but if you want to hear Agnetha at her best, it is when she's not pushing the top of her range or the bottom. She's right in the middle. It's her lead in "Happy new year." I wasn't aware that human beings could make that kind of music with their voice, its gorgeous.
@@Lisa-M To be fair, he has only just started so is taking them in order of appearance. He has no clue of the band's history or their significance in the world of music but it's a joy to watch his infectious enthusiasm with each passing song. The best (Frida) is yet to come 😉
@@darrenbertram7289 I don't think it's order of appearance. Some Frida leads have been suggested much earlier than Agnetha's solo song. And I don't want to know what would be going on here if it was the other way around and he would have made ten Frida leads and only three Agnetha leads. Then all hell would break loose here. And sorry, but I find it ridiculous when he hasn't even reacted to songs like 'Knowing me, Knowing You', 'The Visitors' or 'When All Is Said And Done' but the viewers already suggest 'Disillusion' for the next reaction.
The 1974 Eurovision song contest that ABBA won with Waterloo had 2 more great songs featured that came 2nd and 3rd that are worth a listen to: Si by Gigliola Cinquetti (Go in English) I see a star by Mouth and MacNeal
"Waterloo" got a total of 24 p in Eurovision Song Contest 1974 and won. The voting system was much different then. Each country had 10 jury members, and they only got 1 p to give each, to their favorite song. "Waterloo" got: 5 p from Switzerland and Finland 3 p from Netherlands 2 p from Norway, Germany and Israel 1 p from Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Yugoslavia 0 p from Belgium, Greece, Italy, Monaco and the UK You should check out Eurovision Song Contest some time, for instance react to "All Winners 🥇 of the Eurovision Song Contest (1956-2023)" (from Schlager Lucas channel). It's a bit long, Eurovision has been running for a very long time, but perhaps you could make it into two parts, it's a fascinating piece of music (and fashion!) history!
Hey Chase, lovin' your ABBA reactions. You have a cool vibe. Another EXTREMELY DIFFERENT style song by ABBA you have to check out. The song is love to see you react to it is called WATCH OUT. One of my all-time favourites. WATCH OUT
As to the song's length, whilst Abba's earlier tracks were on the short side, this song had to fit the time constraints of The Eurovision Song Contest which placed restrictions on the length of an entry song to the competition.
I really like the Abba song 'I do, I do, I do, I do, I do'. Maybe you'd like to review it. The particular video which has only around 13,000 views on Adrian Leon's channel is in my opinion the best Abba video of this song
Chase I have watched all [except one I think] of your Abba reactions and as decades long fan of Abba from Ireland, I have really enjoyed seeing you reacting to their huge repertoire of great and varied songs and thank you for doing these videos. I have liked all your videos so far - but in this one you have a Tshirt with the logo 'In Glock we trust'. Is that an endorsement of [in my opinion],the US's crazy gun culture? Of course you free to have your own opinion on this but this is the only aspect of any of your videos I haven't liked yet. I'm still look forward to seeing more of your reactions, especially to Abba, my favourite group of all time anyway
On the 50th anniversary of this song winning the Eurovision Song contest this years will be held in Sweden. Quite fitting really (ok so Sweden won it last year to get the right to host but still).
The Social Democrats created those taxes back then. The writer Astrid Lindgren (Pippi Longstocking etc.) had to pay 102% tax. ABBA got off easy, they only had to pay 80% tax...
Here are three tracks ABBA recorded just before the split and were going to be on the album Opus -a very 'new wave' electro sound. My favorite three songs, in fact. ua-cam.com/video/rAYB46Z_osM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/KuY-suICRjg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Xe4cTHN-M3s/v-deo.html
The outfits had to be too crazy for everyday use. This meant that they were “ essential for trade” and the cost of them could be offset against tax. ( true)
with the audio, you can/should renormalise the clip and your input... you can gain it after the fact.. but before you post it.. That way you and the content have broadly similar volume profiles.
My dear boy! You really must devote yourself to studying history! LOL Waterloo? It is possibly the most famous, epic battle of nations and cultures that ever occurred - between Napoleon (France) and the British Empire. It is part of the vernacular for when someone has met their downfall - vernacular (perhaps another word you aren't familiar with - I am NOT trying to embarrass you, please understand - you're young and to be excused) but when someone says it is part of the "vernacular" it means that it - a phrase - a word - has entered the common language of expressions that people - familiar with it - use when trying to characterize something. So - if I say - "Chase met his Waterloo when he went up against ...." it means you met your downfall - sadly - and we will miss you!
Waterloo was where Napoleon was defeated. This song is a metaphor for a woman who gives into love and surrenders to a man . ABBAS first big hit and won the Eurovision song contest in 1974. First time Sweden ever won it.

That's the song that really started ABBA in 1974. They won the Eurovision Song Contest back then. Waterloo is a village in Belgium where Napoléon lost a battle in 1815.
Hi Chase, thanks. The song that launched Abba into the big time. Instantly catchy, positive energy, just as you say. Great you enjoyed. Nice one! 👍 😊
One more comment
about the special importance of "Waterloo" in ABBA
ABBA's victory in Eurovision with "Waterloo" was undoubtedly NOT an isolated and fortunate event, but the result of study and strategy work for a whole year
ABBA in 1973 could not qualify for the final with their song "Ring Ring"
Supposedly the Swedish jury hurt them, since afterwards the "Ring Ring" was a great success
(the blonde singer Agnetha sang with an 8 month pregnancy, and it would have been difficult for Her to go to the final if they had won)
This frustration did not paralyze them The manager was convinced of ABBA's potential and of delivering the big blow the following year
And they worked on 'The Song' following the same 'glam rock' style of "Ring Ring"
(for this They put aside the more classic "Hasta Mañana")
by February 1974 the voting system changed in Sweden and "Waterloo" clearly triumphed
and the next day ABBA already recorded a promotional clip (not these) with "Waterloo" in English
(later They also recorded it in German and French)
for the presentation in Brighton UK, the manager, knowing about international television, foresaw all the details to capture the attention of the public and the jurors, knowing that as Swedes without musical history they were at a disadvantage
ABBA's unprejudiced joyous and fantastic performance further enhanced "Waterloo", the most disruptive song in all Eurovision history.
(I suggested before to do specialy for these song the historic kive perfomance at Eurovisión, but you miss it )
"Waterloo" was different,
ABBA was different
and Different is Good!
You have to watch and listen to
Olivia Newton John (UK) and
Gigliola Cinquetti (Italy)
to see the more classic songs they would have won (or the great number from Holland) ...
if they hadn't come across ABBA and "Waterloo"
that epic and iconic performance of ABBA
at Brighton UK to Eurovisión 1974
achieved the international awareness and diffusion that it sought for its music.
They were invited to television shows across Europe, starting with "Top of the Pops" in England the same week.
"Waterloo" conquered the coveted British ranking and dominated all of Europe, and its power crossed the oceans and reached America Oceania and Africa:
#1 South Africa #3 New Zealand #4 Australia
#6 U.S. Billboard #7 Canada
Despite the significance of such a victory, some mistrust remained with these 'unknown and strange Swedes'
The following ABBA topics did not have the same repercussion due to this prejudice
Until, a year and a half later, it was the turn of "S.O.S." , broke down all barriers and ABBA definitively began its era of dominance throughout Europe and countries on other continents for almost a decade in a highly competitive English language music market.
And this includes the outstanding fact of recording in 1980 a full album in Spanish
For all this, and much more,
April 6 (1974) is the night that changed ABBA's life, but also changed the history of rock & pop music, with the birth of the ABBA Legend, its best exponent since The Beatles
A new suggestion could be:
"People need love" (1972)
first single recorded by ABBA
it have the first TV perfomance in Sweden
I send you my best wishes
Buenos Aires, Argentina
South América
Pure joy for me 😃. I was 6 years old and we was home at my best friend and we already was ABBA fans 😀. They had not won the Swedish 'Melodifestivalen' the year before when they sing Ring Ring. Now they won even in Brighton. It was hug ❤. Memories Memories early this morning! Thank you!

The Battle of Waterloo was a decisive confrontation between Napoleon Bonaparte and his European enemies. It occurred on June 18, 1815 in Waterloo, Belgium. Napoleon's French army faced the British, Dutch, and German armies of the Duke of Wellington, and the Prussian army of Marshal Blücher.
Benny and Bjorn said they had heard an earlier song by the band Wizard called “ See My Baby Jive” and wanted to capture the energy of that song.
WITH THIS SONG IN1974 , THEY WON THE EUROVISION FESTIVAL AS A BEST SONG
well I might as well chime in with suggestions.
-Visitors (Unlike anything you've heard anywhere Frida In the Lead)
-Like an Angel Passing through my room (Just Frida completely different than others)
Then you need to catch up on some Frida Leads (Agentha's great but so is Frida)
-I Wonder
-I let the music speak
-Super Trouper
-Our Last Summer
-Put on your White sombrero
-One Man one Woman
At that point you haven't made a dent in Frida's leads and you haven't made a dent in ABBA tracks either.
All great songs. Frida rocks!
I don't think he's done "Knowing Me, Knowing You" yet, an absolute Frida essential 😍
As we can see he rather does reactions to Agnetha's solo songs than to Frida leads in ABBA. So I think it's wasted effort to suggest Frida leads.
The 1974 Eurovision song contest that ABBA won with Waterloo had 2 more great songs featured that came 2nd and 3rd that are worth a listen to:
Si by Gigliola Cinquetti (Go in English)
I see a star by Mouth and MacNeal
"Waterloo" got a total of 24 p in Eurovision Song Contest 1974 and won.
The voting system was much different then. Each country had 10 jury members, and they only got 1 p to give each, to their favorite song.
"Waterloo" got:
5 p from Switzerland and Finland
3 p from Netherlands
2 p from Norway, Germany and Israel
1 p from Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Yugoslavia
0 p from Belgium, Greece, Italy, Monaco and the UK
You should check out Eurovision Song Contest some time, for instance react to "All Winners 🥇 of the Eurovision Song Contest (1956-2023)" (from Schlager Lucas channel). It's a bit long, Eurovision has been running for a very long time, but perhaps you could make it into two parts, it's a fascinating piece of music (and fashion!) history!
If you want an even more different sound, listen to ABBA's I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do
Hey Chase, lovin' your ABBA reactions. You have a cool vibe. Another EXTREMELY DIFFERENT style song by ABBA you have to check out. The song is love to see you react to it is called WATCH OUT. One of my all-time favourites. WATCH OUT
Great reaction! Nice traveling back to a time when life...and music was fun.
Plz react to 'El Valojo PENZEN ' 🙏🏽
I would recommend that you react to 'So Long' by ABBA with the 'Made In Sweden For Export' video. You'll thank me after you've seen it LOL.
if he read the comments he would have to have all the info of every song by ABBA now
Chase I have watched all [except one I think] of your Abba reactions and as decades long fan of Abba from Ireland, I have really enjoyed seeing you reacting to their huge repertoire of great and varied songs and thank you for doing these videos.
Please react to SLIPPING THRU MY FINGERS LIVE from TV show by ABBA !! Note Waterloo was place where Napoleon was defeated
Waterloo is 50 years old! I'm 56 so do the math. Wow.
On the 50th anniversary of this song winning the Eurovision Song contest this years will be held in Sweden. Quite fitting really (ok so Sweden won it last year to get the right to host but still).
Not sure if you've done Voulez_Vous or Angeleyes...both amazing songs....
In the earlier days of Abba they wore these outrageous outfits, also one reason was as tax write off. Sweden had very high taxes in the 70s.
The Social Democrats created those taxes back then. The writer Astrid Lindgren (Pippi Longstocking etc.) had to pay 102% tax.
ABBA got off easy, they only had to pay 80% tax...
Great of course, now if you look at a different style try " I let the music speak"😉
Here are three tracks ABBA recorded just before the split and were going to be on the album Opus -a very 'new wave' electro sound. My favorite three songs, in fact. ua-cam.com/video/rAYB46Z_osM/v-deo.html

I HAVE YOU by Karen Carpenter,PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For someone who claims to love Jesus, your shirt says otherwise.
a shirt is a just a shirt , Jesus loves you ❤️
Loved the video hated the T shirt 🤷♂️
Agreed. Hard to understand the American weapon fetish. Especially considering all the death and destruction it causes in their schools.
The outfits had to be too crazy for everyday use. This meant that they were “ essential for trade” and the cost of them could be offset against tax. ( true)
🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻👏🏻
with the audio, you can/should renormalise the clip and your input... you can gain it after the fact.. but before you post it.. That way you and the content have broadly similar volume profiles.
you make your video, which contains all audio sources... so it IS (on) you actually
My dear boy! You really must devote yourself to studying history! LOL
Waterloo?
Erm.Blimey!😧!!! Who on earth is your history teacher? Check on The Battle of Waterloo on the 18th June 1815 nearing the end of the Napoleonic Wars.
Not loving the message of your shirt. I know it’s a song, but still.
Honey Honey and I Kissed the Teacher, another couple to bring to your attention :-)
Best group ever.
