The line “To save Mikasa, Armin, and everyone else, you must see it through” is the exact same thing Grisha said to Eren when he injected him with the serum. The writing on this show is unbelievable.

The Attack Titan has also been described to have the power to see the memories of future users as well.

King Karl Fritz is 145th King of Eldian, and Founding Titan has been traditionally pass down on their generation (royal blood) every 13 years. 145 x 13 =1885
At the current time, it's been 107 years after the wall was built by King Karl Fritz 1885 + 107 = 1992
Eren became a shifter when he was 10, based on Ymir curse's rule, he has 8 years left. 1992 + 8 = 2000 Literally the tittle of the 1st episode, "To you, 2000 years from now"

Remember, the line is "If someone with royal blood is MADE INTO A TITAN that I touch, I might be able to use the Founding Titan's powers".
The majority of reacters seem to end up thinking it's as simple as just touching Historia as she is now. Eren's problem with it is that Historia could be forced to become a titan against her will if the military felt that they really needed that power at some point.
This must be higher, from the lack of comments like this I think many continue to not understand the point (though it's easy to miss in the first watch since there is so much in these last episodes)
To add to your point, if they transform her she would have to eat another shifter to become human again. Then she would only live 13 more years. Eren was trying to avoid that outcome.
Or they can have Eren eat her aswell, but thank god none of that happened in the manga😂

love when Manga creators are able to step outside the bounds of Japan. And tell a story of a different world setting and characters of different ethnicities.
Obviously, where Geisha comes from is a Parallel to 1940s Germany. Attack On Titan has always had a Gemanic atmosphere, with the Names and such. But we can see Greisha and his family living in Ghettos, The fact they have to wear star armbands and had carry around ID's. And their race is called Evil, even though everyone looks the same. It's really good writing.

When I first saw the walls, the barbed wire and the star, I was like: "bruh please don't go down this road too". I've grown tired of Nazi-Germany clones in media, but he pulled it off in a good way - altough they are treated badly, it's kinda understandable why. I think I would want to be as far away as possible from someone who can turn into a man eating giant with just a syringe shot. It's actually written in a way that makes it exciting, as it's not entrirely clear who we should cheer for. For the Opressors that only want to live in freedom and safety from these possibly dangerous people, as they were slauthered and opressed themselves in the past? Or the people who only want freesdom and peace, but would fight and kill the whole world to achieve this goal?
@@ynk1611 Ehhh, i wouldn't really phrase it like that. Because remember The Marlians say history happened one way, and The Eldians say it happened another. Theres no clear, in the right or justified scenario here.
The way the eldians are treated is is plain and simply awful, Marley is making the very monsters , they claim the Eldians to be. And in S4 it looks like its gonna be a reap what you sow scenario for Marley, Just like how it was for Germany.
This is why I found it weird that they had an all asian cast for the Attack on Titan live action because they wanted it to be "accurate" to the anime. I mean, if they wanted the casting to be accurate, shouldn't Mikasa be one of the only asians inside the walls? Didn't the show mention something about the Orientals (Asians) being a rarity inside the walls?
Attack on Titans lore is so deep, it feels like listening to a classroom lecture and have to take notes to remember everything.
Unless it's interesting, then you remember it all from pure excitement.

Nice little implied detail: I think Mikasa was sending most of her food to Erens cell because she wanted to make sure he had more food than her. That’s why he says “we had plenty to eat” and she looks away. *he* had plenty to eat because of her.

I love the reveal that the Owl's name is Eren. it means that Grisha played EVERYBODY in the walls, he never lost his memory at all, he knew EXACTLY what was up his whole life there
You didn't understand anything about the show. He has indeed lost his memory after becoming a lambda titan, after eating Kruger and becoming human again. He still didn't have his memory in place even after being picked up by the patrols near the walls. Grisha was not lying, he still had not fully recovered his memory, it was over time that bits of memory came back to him and that he reconstructed the puzzle of his mission on the island of paradise.Eren Kruger explains it to him. It's the same thing that happened with Eren for example, he had no memory of going with his father in the forest, he had no memory of the explanations that Grisha gave him before stinging him. with the serignue. Even the memories of him becoming human again and finding that he ate his father did not come back to him. It is only over time and often years after that bits of memory earn him his income. This is the same for Grisha, it was after resuming her life on the island of paradise that bits of memory came back to her little by little.

Wrong. Grisha didn't remember becoming a titan initially, no titan shifter remembers becoming a shifter until later or
nah grisha was only able realize his memories until hella years passed. That's why it took so long for him to act on his mission and steal the founding titan

And he is good for now. He almost saw the real ymir and eren new form the head and spiny thing. We are watching snk again and fuck i have so many new thing eslecially in season one, i was chocked when eren did a speach, he litteraly did the same speach as when he is a child on the clouds watching the rumbling, the this person wouod be the freest or something like that. Anyway, 1fter season 3 he is reading the manga i hope he don't get spoiled until then.

If you recall in episode 1 Eren actually had a dream about future events. Similar to shows like Avatar and Naruto, Aot is a show where actions within it can happen beyond the normal bounds of time. I love how the show calls it the Coordinate, like lines intersecting on a graph to a central point yet to be determined.
All imma say is “paths” when kruger mentioned armin and mikasa. Everything is connected by the coordinate. The Aurora borealis lookin thing. Subjects of Ymir are connected
In my conclusion eren forced Kruger to say that. if you are not a manga reader don't read it further
In manga eren sees the past about grisha memories and he is the one who forced grisha to kill founding titan holder so I guess eren force Kruger to say save Armin and Mikasa so that he can accomplish his path it's just a theory

No, I think you may have gotten him confused for rods brother. Their eyes are like that because the decree of the king won't allow them to use the finding titan for war, hence why every single royal blood member that inherits the finding titan has eyes like that. A non royal blood inheriting the titan, as shown by eren has no effect
HAHAHA that enigma edit at Historia had me rolling. This episode is one of the best. The title reveal, the name of the owl, the truth that Grisha is basically the protagonist of the history of the show

I just realized something. The Owl wasn’t a titan shifter yet when he met Grisha when he was a kid because the life span of a titan shifter is 13 years and they met 15 years ago. I’ve read the manga and I just noticed this now 😦

Eren saw his Mom die among other things in a nightmare before she even died in Episode freaking 1... Often Mikasa wakes him from his nightmares and asks "Eren, why are you crying?"
Ive probably watched it hundreds of times and Ive even read the manga, but that last line from the Owl still gives me chills (the outro playing at the back just makes it hit harder).

The titan power is heavily inspired by the norse mythology. In norse mythology there's a world universe tree called Yggdrasil where everything and anything(even time) is connected by the roots of the tree. In here all the subjects of Ymir, titan powers or inheritors are connected through the roots of the coordinates (to put it simply a tree where Ymir stands guard),
no matter which dimension/time or order, that's why the Owl can get a glimpse into the future, through the roots of the coordinate.
When he mentioned armin and mikasa it took me like a solid minute to process.

Eren says “we had plenty to eat” because he was receiving pretty much double the food. Eren didn’t notice her giving him food because he was asleep most of the time recalling his fathers memories.

Glad you guys kinda understand how Krueger somehow knew the names of Mikasa and Armin. The paths connecting all Eldians that all come together and meet at the coordinate, flow in every direction. Including backward and forward through time.
PS: I haven’t read past season 3 in the manga so I’m not 100% sure on this theory but feel like the pieces are all there.
If you remember back in season 1 during Hange’s Titan experiments, she said that “during Eren’s Titan transformations it’s like that mass and flesh just appear out of thin air.” So basically the shifter transformations are literally calling the original Titan form/flesh/body from the past through their connecting Eldian paths.
