Rode a Norton 750 commando over mosquito in the mid 70`s. The loose stone was a pucker factor every time you touched the brake going down. Rode to Aspen afterwards.😊
Videos are getting better and better. Love the history aspect of CO too. Any chance you are going to finally make it over to Taylors? Tons of history with the Alpine Tunnel and ghost towns. Riding all 100+ miles of the Miners Loop from the Aspen side is a feat. I ride 4 wheelers, but you can for sure get close to 200 miles of overlanding if you include the American Flag loop into the Miners Loop.
Appreciate the support man. I haven’t actually heard much about those two loops…I’ll look those two routes up. I only really know about individual trails but I want to take some time off work and do a real overland trip and just stay off pavement as much as possible.
I love how capable the zr2 is. I hope to own one in the future.
It does pretty well even when it’s stock. Not a bad truck
That tree is an Engleman spruce. Also known as a White spruce, Silver spruce, or a Mountain Spruce. Great video. We were over Mosquito on 8/28/23
Thanks for that! I see those trees all the time!
Fairplay to Leadville. Great pass to take. Done it many times. Love the stagecoach sign at the top.
I like how old the sign is too
Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. So true!
Very very nice! The quality of your work is getting better all the time.
Thank you! This one took double the amount of time to edit but I think that effort shows and makes a huge difference overall in the quality
