The beautiful and busy bee back in the day for me but now Atlanta done changed so much you have a lot of people that done move here and opened up restaurants and then calling it Atlanta food it’s crazy. I personally if I want soul food I go to my mom and auntie’s houses
The problem is when an item becomes popular, we have a small minority who complain that the food is too fill in the blank. For example a placed served a spicy meatloaf and it was very popular The item disappeared off the menu and asked why, management said they received too many complaints about the heat level. Bro, it was not that spicy to me. I have learned other people can’t handle mildly spicy. Instead of complaining. Those people could have gotten the regular meatloaf. I have noticed changes in the taste but I ask questions. The answer is too many complaints.
Been here, 28 years. I’ve noticed that, too. Quite a few restaurants in Atlanta have changed their recipes because some people have high blood pressure. I’m like, huh?? So you changed your recipe to fit unhealthy people who need to make better life choices and expect me to pay for bland food? In what world is that a wise business decision? 😂😂😂
@@kenyafromcali I agree. My friends are upset about some of the changes. Never mention chil-Gil’s spicy chicken sandwich in front of my co-workers. He turn red with angry and talk all day about how they messed up. It was perfect then they changed it. It happens all the time in the ATL.

Fork In The Road has a great chicken pasta with grilled chicken and you can add broccoli to it not spicy just creamy sauce in The GA.B&L Wings hit man!
One of the things about Atlanta is that brunch and soul food is popular, so you have a ton of places opening up and overcharging because it is popular.
