Amazing build! I am surprised about how many different solutions you can come up with for doing the same type of camping. There are a lot of great minds out there coming up with some really nifty builds.
I built 3 of these in the UK you ask the question is it stable,we have to type approval all heavy mods, the lane change test at speed also referred to as elk test 10kph higher than standard 200 was achieved, the slalom test for 200 is normally around 12.5s the 650mm extension achieved sub 12s all in all a far more stable platform than the OEM 200 however we did fit bilsteins adjustable front and rear a lovely piece of kit, the old wheel arch tool boxes can be converted to a full width pull out drawer.
He likes to think outside the box. Ironic that he sleeps inside it (the box) 😂 It’d be good to get those lights off the front to take load off the cooling system having to cycle so much.
Top 3 off your mod series Ronny. That bloke with his ideas for his 200 series (and yes I want the Tundra as well) has given me so many ideas on how I can change things up on my 200. Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing
When I saw the title of the video I thought I would hate the look. But this looks absolutely amazing. And so much thought as been put into making it all as functional in the real world as possible. Fantastic work!!!
Hi Ronny do you have any close ups of the canvas work ie, how it attached to the door and floor.as we are looking at doing the same , if you can help that would be great
This guys 200 is epic. The sleeping quarters at first were questionable. But realised after everything folds out that its one of the best solutions created. Well done to the chap for being so creative. R. Dahl please review a TUNDRA next. If not already done so. 👌🏽👍🏽 Thanks for another awesome video 📹
Awesome set up. Loved the little smirk on Ronnie’s face when Aaron went with the old obligatory “only for recovering other vehicles out of trouble” line 😂👌 The sleeping arrangement is great. Very clever. Seems like a legend of a bloke and a well thought out set-up. Congratulations Aaron. Gave me some things to think about for planning my 300 series chop 👍
G day Ronny, Absolute nice build. Interesting build, looks all top notch build. Would take it of Aron in a blink of an eye if he changes his mind and to sale it off. Who goes for a brand new car and to chop it in half and build a rig like that has my honest respect. Beautiful tourer…. Happy traveling… Cheers
@@excessivefishingaustralia2849I was thinking the same but a ram 2500 has solid front ,so would be better of road wouldn't it.are these more reliable than the American trucks ? Beautiful build 😍
@@tomtao4266 Thankyou, you wouldn’t be able to physically get a RAM 2500 where we take this vehicle due to the size of the 2500, although I do love the big yanky trucks, having previously had 3x f250s and a 2017 tundra TRD pro🍻
very well done 200 sleep in that car is awesome not a sloppy tent what cause backpain but a full nice good bed🥳😃 love this entire setup of this beautyful car
Nah no kdss, Im running progressive bump stops which will take a little bit of down travel away at slow speeds but when hitting track hard and fast its so good, just soaks up the bumps;)
The sleeping arrangement is spot on. So much storage is taken up with tents, swags, doonas etc. May as well make the bed permanently and be done. Good job.
Guys isn't there any option for a reduction gear ratio on the differentials for the 200 series in Australia? best option for bigger tires, don't you think?
Me too...but it employs heaps of people in modding these trucks..so that's a good thing. 200 must refer to the cost I guess..more than most houses used to cost!!
@@excessivefishingaustralia2849 I see. Love your build..!! So jealous of your turbo diesels with bigger tanks. In US we only have 5.7 v8 petrol with tiny 24gal tank.
@@LionRunner Yeh you cant go past the Twin turbo diesels huge torque, but I do love the 5.7 petrol v8 in the tundra, powerful and super smooth with good torque for a petrol:)
Sack the audio man Ronny😆 at 2 mins, bit of an overlap. No biggie though. Some machine 😍
I was scratching my head on this one too… 🤔
Oops signs of someone who is too busy
@@Ronny_Dahl Or too lazy? 😂
@@alan12de oh yeah hes made over 600 yt videos because hes lazy lmao
I thought Spotify musta fired up in the background..... Ahhh well.
This has to be the very best build I found for the Land Cruiser 200 series. And believe me, I have seen a lot.
Cheers for having us on Ronny 🍻
Yes the 'Modified' intro is back!! Awesome rig with unique features🤤🤤
Absolutely awesome build! One of my favorites so far.
This guy is smart thinking.
Woah, beaut well thought out rig for days

BEAUTIFUL!
Nice episode Ronny .. I like the references to local suppliers.. some great ideas here 👍
amazing yet sensible build
hey ronny, love the video , also note (the editor) the bullbar section has overlapping audio from the suspension section
Ronny in full pervert mode @11:03 🤣
Yep the ultimate rig for touring and quality canopy set up and build by SAMs.
Man, I've missed the old intro music. Nostalgic!

The exhaust note is 👌
I loved the antenna placement, my misso complaints about it being right in front of her haha

What an awesome build. Love how you put these segments together too Ronny, I've always enjoyed your creativity watching these.

Do they have Tundras in Ausland?
@@KiyaWarrior the owner of the 200 said he had a tundra. So it may be an imported tundra. Not sure.

"too much" would sum it up pretty well I reckon.
Every dollar besides suspension, tyres and a few other things are a waste of money. If you want a real 4x4 buy a shitbox you can trash.

What a rig
Is there something up with the audio in the barwork section or is it my laptop? Sounds like Ronny talking over Ronny 😂 (starts about 2:17...)
was wondering the same. i thought there was something off with my headphones 😅
Amazing built! I honestly find it way excessive.
Absolutely agree 100%
Is it a Sahara?
Audio is stuffed Ronny, conversation under main audio 🥴
Tested on 2 devices, App, website and FB embedded: Bar Work Section
Crazy, that looks expensive!

Audio issues at the start?
Will you do a landcruiser 105 for you next modified
Supercheap did a bottom emptying bin bag 10 years ago, really surprised its not a standard thing, no one wants to be taking a bin bag off to empty it
Put a strap loop around your fridge shelves and screw it too the back wall stops your draws sliding out 👍
great video for some reason the voices are echoing at the Barwork exterior
pov you came to the comments to see if the video audio was scuffed or if your phone was playing up
🏆🏆🏆👍🇺🇲🙏.
Thank you for sharing
Lucky they cut the chassis with a grinder 😂 who was holding the beer 🍺
Tell the other blokes in the background to pipe down ;)
Get that dpf back in
I own a 200 series but at this level why not just get a new f250? Same costs.
Purely for off road capability, oh, and build quality/reliability

love the old music
Shame tha audio has 3 people talking ( one off camera )

absolute mint canopy. I'm probably going to steal the idea for my truck!

Jezus Ronny who did the audio mix at the start of this... too much background noises

i refreshed my page 4 times
what an awesome build the detail in the conversion tuned in transmission an underrated necessity when towing.
I think if you have overlapping audio starting around 2:17?
Dang I wish we had Canopy Conversions in the states.
Awesome setup
As someone that has a full canvas canopy i dig the sleeping setup i would actually consider that if i purchased a metal canopy
Still ifs tho
Good choice on this one Ronny!
I love to see innovation and something different. That canopy bed is slick!
Audio is borked
disappointed in the poeple in the background
No discussion about the Rhino Rack, Ronny?
Give Stainless Alloy Manufacturing in Mandurah a heads up Ronny. A great canopy and bodywork builder.
Definitely agree, somehow their plug got edited out of the final cut🤷♂️🤦♂️
Forgot to turn off audio track on B footage - touch annoying
Sleeping setup is awsome, is he related to Torbs?😅

You can’t take a truck where I take this, plus it drives so better that any truck🍻
If your going to haul 2 full sets of tires for running different size on road vrs off road then why not go 37-12.50 off road and 31-9.50 on road
37s require to many mods on the 200 series, but would love to somehow get them on😎
Was excited to see this vid. But the audio plain out sucked!
Looks like this 200 is no KDSS. Any reason to pick no KDSS? Reliability or strength or any other reason?
