Sit and Spin 2023: Episode 6 Breast Cancer, Knit for the Girls with the Grocery Girls Yarn

Tracie and Jodi of the Grocery Girls are teaming up with Sam and Olga of Thread and Maple and Karina of Louie and Lola to raise funds to support Breast Cancer research and Patients. There are lots of ways to help them reach their fundraising goals between Oct 21 and 28.
During this window is my Mastectomy surgery for my own breast cancer. So I reached out and offered to spin and donate a beautiful skein of pink yarn to the prizes for this fundraiser.

You are to be commended for an awesome support ❤️I am experiencing a recurrence after almost twenty years of remission. Breast cancer is and will continue to be a rather sneaky disease but optimism and good health habits can overcome it with all the new research and treatments developed 🤗 I am only a knitter but used to spin many years ago while living in Australia. I really enjoyed your positive attitude !praying for your good results in recovery.!
