Sorry for skipping the chorus! It was getting like "blocked blocked" bc they think they are the actual artists that sang it I guess? Idk why i was having so much trouble uploading this, regardless, i loved it
FWIW the "Derivative Works Guidelines | hololive production" request that the source be linked in the description. Which is generally considered good clipper and reactor conduct, since it makes it easy for interested viewers to go see the source version, and may be do the whole like, comment, subscribe thing if they want, and may be add it to a playlist...
What's hilarious is Hakos Baelz, who *Loves* K/DA and even got to perform at an official LOL event in 3D, doing the dance and everything, only realized K/DA stood for "Kill Deaths Assists" after said event, when she was playing LOL on stream. She's such a zoomer sometimes.
Although I'm a die hard Takodachi and Ina's whispery Korean gives me goosebumps, Risu is the secret star of this cover. While they don't give her many big diva solo moments, Risu has both the highest high AND the lowest low of the entire group, so the production team subtly threw her into the background of everyone else's solos to round out the sound.
As you asked for game-related songs, Korone covered the Fire Emblem Theme as well as the song POLLYANNA (I BELIEVE IN YOU) from Mother/Earthbound. For the copyright stuff, the original rightholders of the song (K/DA or, more specifically, their music label) can block your stuff even if it's a cover, some are okay with reactions and such (like most of the time Holo originals), some are more strict like here.
Assuming you don't have similar problems, I recommend Shion's, Bae's, Laplus's, and Kobo's performance of "Pop/Stars" and "The Baddest". Both performances are in the same video. 0_0 K/DA songs are a big magnet for stingy copyright stuff...I am honestly stunned that Hololive allowed this cover at all XD but I am really glad they allowed the ladies to sing this. They did an amazing job!
I agree, women *nods* And about their covers, as far as I know, what happens is the talents tell their managers what songs they'd like to cover, then management asks the copywrite holders (either the original recording artists or the record company) for permission to make a cover. After that, either the talent or the manager hires someone to do the instrumentals. And, no, they likely don't just rip the track off the original song, since the talent may need it in a different key to better fit their range (for example, Nerissa Ravencroft and Laplus Darknesss both covered Kamipoina/God-ish, but the covers are in different keys, because they have different ranges they're comfortable singing in). The talents then sing the vocal track(s), and ask of it goes to the mixer to get put together into a single song. At some point in this whole process the talent and/or management find an artist/animator to make the video. Often, the mv is at least in part inspired by the original mv (for example, for covers of Vampire, they will almost always have the talent in profile pulling down a face mask to show off fangs)
Ive alwayd especially loved Ina's voice in this cover. She has such a unique sound. The other big K/DA group cover the Hololive girls did was The Baddest. That one was also with Risu and Moona, but with Reine and Calli instead of Ina and Bae. Moona (apparently Hololive's biggest Kda fan) also has a solo cover of Villain.
it sucks that you were having copyright problems but i'm glad you still reacted to it!! Have you seen any of the official animated music videos for league of legend's songs? I think that would be a cool thing to react to as well, probably AFTER you get the monetization/membership stuff worked out tho :P
A fun fact a lot of people seem to either just don't know, or have forgotten by now: Ina is part Korean, and it's one of the languages she can speak, though she rarely does on stream, so she's a perfect fit here as one of the parts that does sing in Korean sometimes xD
First time with copyright issues, eh? Was bound to happen eventually, still it’s a nice reaction! As a suggestion, perhaps try and record the audio of what you’re reacting to as a separate track, so you can mute it if need be and not loose the visual reaction. For recs, I meant to drop this on the last clips reaction but totally forgot, Jello Clips has made a debut highlights video for Justice, which you should totally check out!
For a Video Game song , it wasn't a standalone cover, since it was part of a Karaoke, but there are clipped vidoes(ua-cam.com/video/rVHJMGoTzJQ/v-deo.html), i would recommend Snake eater from MGS 3 which was covered by Mint Fantome who is a major Metal Gear Fan. when it comes to true cover of the top of my head, it feel like there are potentially more anime covers, then game covers. if its a Kpop sound Takanashi kiara is a good go to specifically, pineapple, sleeptalk, sparks. which were all included on her album point of view. i did find the perfect cover to summarize the holostars , which is Yatta, which was posted on Axel syrios channel. its a bit of a goofy, but will probably make you smile.

KDA is pretty strict on their copyright. Even getting permission for making the cover is one of the more expensive licenses they have done.

Moona Hoshinova, Pavolonia Reine, Ayunda Risu, and Mori Calliope - KDA Baddest

Risu is one of the best singers in Hololive after all.
they even do opening for Riot One event where Bae,Kobo,Shion&La+(basically the kusogaki crew) do a 3d performance of pop/star and the baddest
I recommend Hakos Baelz: A Million Miles Away (Cover)
true and based, and Bae and Towa's "Blooming In the Mud" cover as well.
Blooming in the mud, please

K/DA is SO dangerous copyright wise, pretty funny that you got hit this hard after talking about being chill for that kinda thing on stream XD
@@Xankoshu lol well I thought their cover should be fine, but the OG song striked me, which makes even less sense lol

Hololive asked permission I assume
@@ambershangout7226They ALWAYS ask permission for such things.

its all remade as closely to original as possible
also there is nerissa covering "down by the river" from game baldur's gate
Nerissa covered "Down By The River" which is a video game song from BG3
Oh, you have to see Moona's villian cover as well as her originals. She is really good.
it sucks that you were having copyright problems but i'm glad you still reacted to it!!

One guy (itsMeanWaterfall) made 20 sec animation of Bae's part

Game OST - recommend Gura sing Song of the Ancients

The ID girls did a cover of K/DA's "The Baddest" on Moona Hosinova's channel. It's better than this one.
