Correctional center offers music program to inmates, chance for a record deal

The Virginia Beach Correctional Center has started a music program for some of its inmates, and on Monday, music producers came to the facility to hear several inmates sing. The program was designed to give inmates the chance to sing and create original music.

some places offer schooling as well...we all need hope whether in the cell or out of the cell...i sure hope they get out soon....whos idea was this anyway?

Interesting concept. Who says they can't make money? Inmates still have families to support. Expand the idea to lyrics and poetry.

They should have thought about their FAMILIES BEFORE going to jail!!! 🙄
