Awesome that you did this build! I read every word of your blog. I bought a 79 Cb750K last year to cafe inspired by the hookie alcedo as well. Talked with Antoni @forthebold and after reading your blog I'm inspired beyond words! Thanks so much! I sourced the rearsets from a CB750Kz instead of the F. Needle in a haystack from Germany.
I appreciate the kind words! Yeah I created some work for myself by using rearsets designed for rear disc brakes. The Z rearsets, designed for drum brakes, would have been bolt on; oh well you live and learn.
This is the perfekt cafe racer. Soo biutiful in every angel , and it' s tuff i real swedich. I ame 68 yers old and drive a chruser butt my hart is in a cafe racer. Still ...!
That's one gorgeous cafe racer. Have a 2017 CB100ex and would follow this route if I were to start building it to a cafe. Love those mirrors! What kind are they?
Lovely build, can you please let me know where you got the rear cowling from? Seen that design on a few builds and would like the same on mine. I don’t fancy getting the clay and fibre glass out!!
Hey there, this thing looks absolutely awesome. Would have sworn its a hookie co. Just wondering what you did to the tank to keep it from rusting and what jets you're running in the carbs?? Currently building my own cb and have struggled over the last couple months tryna dial in the carbs.
Dude, I love the black swan. Lucky guy. I designed and made them myself! You can purchase them at my Shapeways store. www.shapeways.com/shops/norma-jean
Because I build these for sale I do not share the build cost, but pricing out the build specs I provided in the link in the description will get you very close.

Nice build! Are those tyres tubeless? Looking for this spec tyre for my CB build, which had the same wheels as yours.
Smart
Nice work. That Hookie seat cowl isn't available anymore... god damn shame, it's gorgeous and a bitch to replicate.
That's why I stocked up on a few of them!

This is the original gas tank, just stripped bare. This generation of cb750 is wet sump, there is no separate oil tank.
