This is exactly the answer to my problems with the previous Wand and the Flux. Flush mount battery that can move to be able to actually see the volts, disposable grips and a charging dock. What a dream haha. The motor for the Wand is a little louder than the FK but other than that this is perfect.

What's a good voltage to stipple with the shader?
Thats going to be different for everyone. When i stipple shade I just turn it down as low as it can go, then adjust the voltage depending on the needle grouping.

If someone wanted to for some reason, could you use a third party battery pack with this rca adapter? Just curious if you’re bound to the critical magnet batteries or not.
Yeah if you put the RCA dongle/adapter on then you can use other batteries.

I ordered the packer I heard you can use the packer as a shader just turn the voltage down to 4 or 5
You could but it wouldn’t have the same effect as a machine that has a shorter stroke.
Hello, how did you discover that your shader might have been faulty. Mine runs slow, still able to get great shades however I don’t have another one to compare if it running as it should as it can still struggle with certain areas of the body :/
I usually tattoo with music on or Netflix. So most of the time I don’t notice the sound of the motor.
I had it running without any music etc on and I started to notice the motor was sounding rough, it would fluctuate between running smooth and running like a bag of shit.
I was still able to use it but the shader that I had recently runs very differently.
@@ThatTattooShow my 3rd shader now is exactly the same..packer runs fine ..I'm not even gonna bother sending shader back im done 😡

Hey man. I’m pretty gutted at the moment, I accidentally threw my Bishop Wand Liner (with critical battery pack) in the trash last week. It was my go to for bigger lines. I’m about to purchase another but thought I would ask if there is anything else out there you would consider A great rotary liner for 7-11rl lines? Thanks a lot for any info. Cheers
To be honest most machines that have a 4mm stroke are good for line work.
In the past I’ve used,
Cheyenne thunder, flite nano with 4mm cam, ego r12. Most recently I’ve used the flux, neuma 4.
I’ve also used 3.5mm strokes for line work and there’s a bunch of decent ones you can use.
Did it break ? Mighta got lucky most of our trashes are full of napkins
@@johnstrassburg1108 Went out with the trash unfortunately. Decided to buy the Power Wand packer and shader and hope the Packer will work as a liner up to 11rl.
@@pronateddraghook packer lines very well. You can push 18rs lines like butter and you can pull those 5.30 like with a pencil.
The liner is in my opinion not justified unless you do engraving style tattoos

Can you take the back off and take the motor and plunger out so you can clean the inside like the regular wands? Like all pen machines, without the ability to do this it’s a cross contamination nightmare, cartridge membrane or not, those can fail and outside of cartridges can get dirty from the work station or touching them with dirty gloves
I haven’t tried that with mine so I don’t know. But I’ll find out.

I asked Bishop a while back you CAN NOT take it apart to clean the drive bar like the older wands. You can if you try hard enough with a pliers but it voids warranty, so yet another company not caring about safety and just putting out fancy packaging to sell you more shit. The whole industry is crazy now with these pens
Buttons aren’t sealed and are dirt traps, can’t turn off the jump start feature if you don’t need it, all in the name of hey it’s new and cool and lite weight. So silly. I don’t get how they put this shit out “after years of testing” and not notice basic ass problems
How much heavier is it than the regular wand?

@That Tattoo Show trying to buy a top of the line wireless pen,going to do mostly realism but not limited to,and i don't want to own a pen for lining and one separate for shading,was looking into sol nova unlimited 3.5 any thoughts?
1530€ for the shading machine is a joke, mildly expressed…..Production costs - max 100 $ ( battery included )… Expencive bling bling ( running my shop since 1992 and this is my personal opinion )…….

The ink machine scorpion X2 it’s probably one of the best machines I’ve used in wireless pen tattoo industry are use the magnetic system soft and hard magnets and neo carts which have a magnet attached to the needle to push it It’s definitely some space age technology closest thing to a traditional machine ever
You know what, that was one of the machines on my list of machines to buy. But they have just brought out a new wireless one that looks pretty awesome.
@@ThatTattooShow yeah it’s on my list to The cobra looks pretty dope but I’ll tell you the ink machine scorpion X2 such a Great machine I got it in January and haven’t used my Bishop shader since or my neuma 4 i’ve just been using my Bishop Packer to line and my scorpion X2 for everything else the Neo Cartridges Plus the scorpion X2 Such an awesome set up

I think it has what it needs to do the job, maybe adding the extra things like firmware updates etc just leaves it open for more problems.

Alright buddy, probably not to be honest. I stopped using coils around 10+years ago and have zero interest in using them again. Also I don’t think I could give a good enough opinion on them to warrant a review.
