Avenger 3 Pro has become my secret weapon for creating complex color work. The ability to quickly change settings while working makes it easy to switch between outlines, fills and fades. The ergonomics is top-notch - even after long sessions my hand doesn't get tired. I would also like to mention the build quality - the machine seems unbreakable. Definitely worth the money for professionals who are serious about their work.
I would really like to see someone do a comparison of the vlad vlad to the the Dan Kubin machine since the shapes and style of Rotary machine is really similar to the original Dan Kubin machines
The Vlad Blad is better than the Dan Kubin when it comes to working with cartridges. The linework with traditional needles is equivalent. You can push larger magnums, as the motor is slightly more robust. There’s also greater versatility due to the possible changes in stroke lengths. However, with Dan’s Sidewinder 7.5, there’s the advantage of being able to change the hit which isn’t possible on the Vlad Blad. Some people, therefore, have preferences for one or the other, but both remain excellent machines. With the new Vlad Blad having a battery, it’s likely to be even more convenient. I would say I prefer sidewinder 7.5 for traditional needles and avenger for cartridges.
I’m really happy with my avenger 2 pro. It’s been running daily since I got it from the pre order. No issues. I run it with the critical batteries and I’m so impressed on the running time I get with this combo. I’ve done 13 hour flash days without having the first battery run out and full 8-9 hour sessions without having to change the batteries. I’m thinking of just keeping my current machine as there isn’t anything massively different with this machine. The tension bar seems like a good idea, but I’m not convinced it would be worth it since it’s the same screw that tightens it and the grip. I like to change the needle depth with the grip adjustment since I use a bunch of different brands of cartridges and they all seem to be slightly different length. What battery duration have you gotten with the avenger 3 pro?
appreciate your advice as always! as a beginner I agree this is more than I can justify spending. looking forward to seeing your prime pen review, most of the machines I'm considering upgrading to right now are so much more expensive, really curious how the prime stacks up
Shame it’s battery only. I love my Avenger 2 pro and would love to see an RCA version of the 3. But all things considered, I don’t see why I really need the 3 if the 2 pro is practically the same. So my idea is to wait for the 2 to drop in price (as they’re pushing the 3) and buy a second 2 as a backup.
Hi...thanks for the video...I had an Avenger 2 Pro but I was vibration , and according to your video, the Avenger 3 vibration .. which needlessly interfere with concentration at work, I used coil machines but I switched to the Cheyenne and those machines suit me the most... But I still remain a fan of Avenger and I hope that in the future they will come with a new machine without withdrawal. Thank you and have a nice day...SANTO VIDEO Thumb UP
That thing looks like it would be great to tat with. I wish you would try out the Inkjecta X1 and see what you think of it. You can get the crossfire edition for $850, runs about 900 after tax and all
Hello, I would like to ask, which tattoo machine do you think is the best for fine gray wash realism? you thought about buying Vlad Blad Avenger 3Pro just because of the system it works with and supposedly reduces skin damage. But again, I'm not such a professional to use all the settings of the machine. Thanks for the reply and keep up the videos they are the best!
You mentioned briefly that a large problem with the avenger 2 pro is rubber bands snapping, is there something you did to fix that problem on your end? It is the only thing that drives me crazy about this machine. Thank you for the review.
I switched the tubes I was using. I like the Tatsoul wrath grips. The blue ones. The stem doesn’t come up to where the rubber band hits it. Give that a shot!
This is completely unrelated I’m sorry but I’ve got a question, i have no tattoos currently, and drew up a full arm of tattoo and the main color is brown. What is your opinion on how brown looks, heals, and maintains over time? Some will be light brown other parts will be dark brown. Starting at the shoulder going down to the hand
Depends on the artist that does it and your skin tone and how you treat it while healing. In general, a lot of browns break down a lot faster than other colors tho. The edges on brown ink don't always hold up either, I'd recommend outlining it in black :)
@@jadeclark1884 there will be shadow work around all the edges of the brown with solid black to start the shadows so definitely no problem with doing that, I plan on keeping proper care and trying to keep it from sunlight but sometimes sun screen will just have to do.. I know there’s creams for enhancement of tattoos, I just don’t know which would be the best honestly with many of options out there
@abstractfate6104 i mean it doesn't need special care or anything, I just mean like the aftercare of a tattoo will always have an effect on how it heals. But as long as you find an artist that has experience with brown ink you'll be fine. Not all tattoo artists are great with every color, and brown isn't a common one.
I haven’t had a chance to work with or try out the 3 yet, iv done some lining work with the 2 at a guest spot and that was butter! Didn’t get the chance to try any mags or shading though…. Anyway getting off track my question was about the battery life like off of a fresh charge do you feel like you get fair enough run time ? Only asking cuz iv heard second hand couple times now that it’s a dope machine just dosent have the run time they expected I guess…. My apologies for the tangent lol. As always my dude 👍🏻 💯
I think it would be best with a second battery if you do longer days. It’s definitely not a super long battery life so you can’t use it all day. But with a second battery you could go all day
I have a question I'm buying the 3 and I was thinking of getting the 2 pro as well. The question I have on the 2 when you plug it into a power supply it works with a foot pedal right?
It really depends on what kind of lining I’m doing and if I’m shading with it as well that day honestly. I’ve been really liking the 4.2 torque for lining only tho
I’ve been wondering if that machine is worth buying don’t wanna throw money away and I’ve never had anything from that company but that new avenger pro looks nice heavy but nice
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial yeah, I wasn't comparing them, both are extremely expensive, all machines are nowadays. I was very intrested on vlad blad 2, I tested it out but I found it a bit weird but that’s me. I’m very use to pen machines. For me the perfect set up is two machines, one machine like Acus for example and a dedicated linner. I was looking for the Vlad for linning but is simply to expensive just for that!. I find it abusive for brands as Critical or bishop to ask more than 1000$ for a dedicated machine!

Agree with you, bro
Was waiting for your review but bit the bullet and have been using it for 2 weeks now! Great machine and your review was spot on!
Thanks ! Glad you agree.
I tried it at the convention and it’s just looks heavy but it’s not. Perfect balanced even for the woman’s little hand. Literally a dream machine!
I agree ! I was surprised that the balance was where I want it

Pickups as in the vibration ?
Everyone likes something different for sure! Whatever works for you !
sorry... google translate
I meant machine vibration..
and yes, I agree, everyone is comfortable with something different
I was just about to go for the avenger 2 pro for my most expensive machine but I think I may go for the 3 pro. Great review! 🔥🤘🏾
I love both machines. Can’t go wrong.
Thank you !
Have you ever tried sidewinder machines with springs? If you like hard hitting effortless liners, they should be just that.
I have not! They are on the list of machines I’d like to try tho

I still use Vlad Blad coils. These machines are top notch but they don’t come without faults. As any
I’ve never tried their coils before honestly
What comes with the pro 3? Do I have to purchase the grip and bar separately
Which do you think is better to get overall price ect... 2 vs 3 for the avenger ?
Need to do a review on a houju tattoo machine. I use one on a daily and love it.

What battery pack is on the 2 pro in the noise/vibration section, looks my kind of chunky
It’s the critical battery
What’s the Brand of that traslucid grip you are using ? Thanks 🙏🏼

Yes if you plug the 2 in you can use the foot pedal
Hopefully I can buy the Avenger 2 Pro this year. I'm a poor bastard.
Is the Avenger 3 Pro a soft machine? I had someone say that it's too soft for colour packing and all that, but not sure if that is true.
It could do anything you want really. It can be soft or hard
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficialand for the vibration, how bad is it in comparison to a pen machine? I currently use the Sol Nova Unlimited machines.
@@RiposteThis it’s a pretty high vibration. It’s closer to a coil than a pen machine
Name trasparent grip ?
I cant wait to get the 3🤑
So pricey, Tyler’s drawer is so stacked, he’s got all the pew pews
