@jjsfoo74 Yes fast :) If you mean on the babies, they are born on the way from the store to home. The two of them, and they are still alive and growing :)
Absolutely stunning!! You could tell the plants are thriving from the gorgeous colors. The koi guppies are totally worth it. Totally agree female ones are actually better for ponds due to their larger bodies and sizes; mimicking actual kois better than the male counterparts.
Thanks!! I appreciate it. Yes, you are totally right. The first time I saw koi guppies I knew right away they were the perfect choice for a pond. I would also like to have king koi guppies but unfortunately I didn't find them.
Ah, such a nice and relaxing video to watch. I really enjoy how this project of yours turned out! The Koi Guppies honestly look great! That white and bright red contrast really nicely with the black background of the pond and the lush greens of the floating plants. Awesome video as always! :)
Wow bro, this pond evolved beautifuly. Plants are so lush and vibrant. Love the choice of fish bro, their color POPS against the dark bottom. Beautiful!!
Excellent Video. Very entertaining and informative. Yet more evidence of the what Walstad calls the aerial advantage, plants growing in an emergent manner benefit considerably for the higher levels of CO2 in air compared to water and the absence of algae. Also, that plants do not generally need specialist light bulbs, modern domestic LEDs can be successfully used. My one challenge with emergent plants is that the tips in a domestic environment can easily dry and wither when the central heating is on. Couldn't help but notice the duckweed, a friend bred some baby Pandas and gave me half a dozen - I thought I had caught the tiny number of pieces of duckweed that were in the bag but now I have duckweed in my aquarium which I really rather wish I hadn't. Thanks again.
I watched the video with Doudou and we had a very good time all three of us ^^ Thank you and again a superb work a big bravo to you \o/ (and yes i have seen the baby :3)
Also gorgeous! Can I use same plants outside? I live in Spain, mediterranean area and I would love to make one like this for my balcony with a water lilly. What do you think? Thanks a lot!
Thanks!! Yes, these plants can thrive outside. It will grow perhaps even better than indoors under artificial lighting. You can make a patio pond for sure.
This looks great wish my wife would let me have this inside out our apartment lol :) Only thing I dont like is the black silicone I wouldnt mind seeing thru the water, its a pong after all you look at it from above,
Thanks!! With black silicone I wanted to achieve depth and it is a great contrast to fish. Live, when viewed from above you can see the bottom, in the video it looks a little different due to the refraction of light, shooting angle, etc...
Love your indoor container pond. I have one too with albino full red guppies. I have a branch of birch laid across my pond with Hydrocotyle coming out of the water wrapping around the branch. I have a pump fountain with LED lights so when it’s dark it’s very pretty. I wish indoor container ponds were more popular. Too bad you can’t attach videos or images to the comments.
I wonder if you have to empty it to wash the pond from time to time. Also, is there a technique to prevent growing mosquitos in this water? Do the fishes eat the larvae? Thank you!
They can be treated mostly the same but because of over breeding for better colors/patterns they might be more sensitive not so Hardy, if u like u should search koi guppy or rummy nose guppy go to local pet shop
Yes they are much more sensitive especially because they are albino. And another fact I found while doing research is that they produce very small amount of fry, which is quite OK for me.
the pond is ok except for one thing. the floating phyllanthus fluitants are too much on top covering the entire top of the pond. looks like a plant cereal in a bowl and its killing the authentic pond with water effect. if it wasn't for the floating air ring no one will notice that it has water beneath. Maybe if we put more light whole i think it will fix the thing.. Again no offence. its my own opinion only so still the designer's decision to make it look like that will prevail.. cheers to you sir Vladimir..
I would never put in the pond those water hyacinths; they take too much dissolved oxygen out of the water & those leaves underneath rot & cause bad odour.
Hey Vladimir, check out these monster guppies at my lfs that would be awesome for ponds..you should check your end if they have similar i.imgur.com/qtxYvpT.jpg They are about 8cm on average !!
@@vladimirstojanovic3603 According to lfs owner, these are special strain from professional local breeders- not sure if they are Koi guppies strain but they are huge. Due to their size, the owner said they don't have a long lifespan, usually 6-12mo tops. I will visit the store again this week and get you the exact name.
Hey guys! Did you see the baby guppy in the video? :)
Yes of course
That's fast!!! Lol.
Yepp. 👍
@jjsfoo74 Yes fast :) If you mean on the babies, they are born on the way from the store to home. The two of them, and they are still alive and growing :)
Can u do a dead city type aquarium plz
the plants look so well balanced and healthy and the guppies are the perfect addition to your pond. You did a real good job there, man.

Thanks for watching! Yes, duckweed can be sometimes a pain in a neck :)
I've never seen healthier floating plants
Love the choice of this fish, never seen them, You should film it from inside the water with the light from above so you can see al the roots!
Thanks!! I still don’t have a waterproof camera, but I might come up with something.

wish you'd have some white sand in the middle so it would reflect some of the light, in my opinion it would look great, anyway i loved the project
Thanks!! I thought about it but then the color of the fish wouldn't pop that much.

Very calming video. What is the light equipment did you use to grow them up?
Thanks for watching!! Just ordinary LED bulb 30W 6500K.

Beautiful! I want to try but when do you clean the filter? Won't you disrupt everything?
Thanks!! I haven't cleaned the filter yet, but it shouldn't be a problem. I'll probably make a video of how I clean the filter.
Amazing video ! Can I ask a question please? Where can I get the ring that u put on the surface, can’t find anything like that in my fish store...
Thanks!! The ring is the most common air hose :) It definitely has to be in the fish store :)
Aha that’s great idea! Thanks very much

Incredible. What moss species did you use, and where did you purchase them? They’re ideal and really thriving under those conditions!
Thanks!! Weeping moss,I bought it locally from some fish keeper.
Damn bro that looks sick, what’s your recording set up ?
Thanks!! Canon 700D EF-S 18-55mm.
Vladimir really nice .. Also add hydrocotyle Tripartita it will grow fast and give beautiful look
Thanks!!
I wonder if you have to empty it to wash the pond from time to time. Also, is there a technique to prevent growing mosquitos in this water? Do the fishes eat the larvae? Thank you!
I never emptied the pond for washing, I only did 30% water changes once a week. Yes, fish like to eat mosquito larvae :)
Not sure it has been asked but could you put a vetta in it. The water flow seems to be just right
Yes, it definitely can betta. But I wouldn't put it together with the guppies.
What kind ofrece bowl is that, where did you get it?????
I bought it locally. It is an ordinary pot for plants only large. Check out the first part, there you will see what the pot is like.
Nice 👍👍👍
Thanks!!
Nice🇧🇩
Thanks!!
I never knew guppies came in that kind of pattern. Those are very good looking! Are they as easy to keep as common guppies?
This pond is inspiring me.
They can be treated mostly the same but because of over breeding for better colors/patterns they might be more sensitive not so Hardy, if u like u should search koi guppy or rummy nose guppy go to local pet shop

gorgeous, peace†

What lighting do you use?
Ordinary LED bulb 30W 6500K.
Did you need a water heater for this?
Yes. I actually showed the heater in the video :D
Do you use fert?
When I added the fish, I stopped using the fertilizer.
Hey can you tell me the title of that piano bgm you used at the calming scene?
Angels dream.
So you never have to clean the filter ?
I wouldn't say never, but very rarely.
I would love to learn more about the set up to this tank.
I checked out the pt 1. Thank you for the info. How do you do maintenance on this tank?
Thanks for watching!! Nothing special. Water exchange and removal of excess floating plants.
A koi betta would be cute too
Yes,definitely.
Amazing job...here in Spain, kois are forbidden cuz the goverment fears that they could potentially become invasive species
Thanks!! Really? Koi guppies are quite sensitive, I don’t believe they would survive in the wild. Although that's just my opinion.
👀 weuu
Please don't tear this down please...😍........ And maybe try adding 'Myriophyllum Aquaticum' thats a beautiful plant to see emersed.
Yes It would be a great background plant. Hahaahah I will not tear this down.....
...Yet :D
Please make another one with water lily on it
We want to see underwater!
Me to :)
Without CO2 how it is possible
It is possible because plants grow emersed (above the water surface) and absorb CO2 from atmospheric air.
Remove water hyacinth ...it absorbs lot of oxygen from water ..
I'm thinking of doing it.
the pond is ok except for one thing. the floating phyllanthus fluitants are too much on top covering the entire top of the pond. looks like a plant cereal in a bowl and its killing the authentic pond with water effect. if it wasn't for the floating air ring no one will notice that it has water beneath. I would never put in the pond those water hyacinths; they take too much dissolved oxygen out of the water & those leaves underneath rot & cause bad odour.
