My teenage daughter was raised by my aunt who could not have kids of her own, so she used her money to lie about me in court and take my daughter long ago to raise her. Now she is like my family who raised her...very judgemental. I live a faith driven life,and will continue. Yes, Jesus is on my side ..the side of the righteous but still I am human and get depressed and tired and worn. I have forgiven them, and love them dearly even though they are hateful. Please pray for the growing up of my daughter, to know Jesus and for her someday to be kind to her own mother...me.

Haha to be true this is my depression song. Whenever someone breaks my heart I turn to this song. I beg for the Lord's help.
This song resonates with me in particular. Every time it comes on the radio, it sticks out to me. The reason is because I was friends with people who are so judgmental, mean, and negative. When I tried to stand up to them, they'd treat me like I'm wrong and like i have no idea what I'm talking about. Since then, they've cast me out of their social circle all because I speak out about what I believe in. I pray that someday they come to their senses and see what they've been doing is wrong. They were good people, and I wish the best for them.
i am trying to learn to forgive an unfaithful friend. its really hard and alot of times it hurts ALOT. im praying for you also hope you find the right friends.

Alors la compassion vous gagne et vous vous mettez à prier pour eux, parce que vous ne pouvez pas supporter l'image d'eux en train de grimacer, de gémir et de grincer les dents de douleur. Vous priez afin que le Seigneur leur ouvre les yeux pour qu'il voient combien ils sont égarés. *(2 Corinthiens 4:3 "Si notre Évangile est encore voilé, il est voilé pour ceux qui périssent; 4 pour les incrédules dont le dieu de ce siècle a aveuglé l'intelligence, afin qu'ils ne vissent pas briller la splendeur de l’Évangile de la gloire de Christ, qui est l'image de Dieu.")*
Puis, confiant et reconnaissant d'être sauvé, heureux d'avoir un si merveilleux Dieu d'amour, vous voilà restaurés par sa grâce et vous commencez à Le louer pour Son Merveilleux Amour, pour Son fabuleux Plan de Salut pour les hommes. Et vous voudrez à nouveau la partager, cette Bonne Nouvelle, avec tous ceux qui vous entourent. Tout comme Jésus et Notre Père. Et vous le pourrez et vous le ferez! Seulement vous n'oublierez pas que ce n'est pas vous qui décidez du salut des autres.
Vous pouvez juste faire votre part, de votre mieux, afin de n'être pas honteux et confus lorsque Notre Seigneur viendra chercher Son épouse. Rien de plus.
Gardez donc votre paix et votre joie avec jalousie, car ce n'est qu'ainsi que l'on devient créatif pour le Royaume. Peu importe les circonstances, vos sentiments ou ce que pensent les gens ou vous-même, La Bible dit *"Soyez tours joyeux, priez sans cesse*. C'est un ordre alors accrochez-vous à ça, quoi qu'il arrive. Accrochez-vous à la Parole de Dieu. Immergez-vous en elle, ça chassera toutes mauvaises pensées.
Habituez-vous à exécuter tous les ordres du Seigneur, quoi qu'il arrive, quoi qu'il se passe, comme "Aimer son prochain comme soi-même; revêtir toutes les armes de Dieu; Être toujours joyeux; Se pardonner les uns aux autres; que la Parole de Christ habite abondamment parmi nous; prier sans cesse, faire en tout temps par l'Esprit toutes sortes de prière et de supplication et y veiller avec une entière persévérance, etc.*
Ça parait rébarbatif au début, mais ensuite, si l'on reste souvent dans la présence de Dieu, L'Esprit Saint vient nous aider et cela devient une habitude qui ne vous quitte plus. Et puis, la perspective d'une éternité dans la Sainte Présence, l'Amour, la Joie et la Paix de Dieu, en compagnie de tous les frères et sœurs du monde entier, ça stimule, non? Oui, ça vaut le coup de faire quelques efforts pour protéger notre relation avec Notre Seigneur.

This is how I feel. People I love most seem to only hate me and treat me bad. I try to turn a blind eye and turn the other cheek hoping my kindness will make them stop. GOD please give me the GRACE to forgive them, they no not what they do. Sometimes I don't want to live anymore. I feel sometimes there's no point. My faith in GOD is the only reason Im still here.

I know many people have dealt with more serious things, but neither of the friends I invited came to my Fourth of July party. They apologized and had legitimate reasons, but I'm mad I spent four hours thinking "any minute now" and doing nothing when I had a ton of homework this weekend. What a song for all of us. We live in a world where we are judged, criticized and neglected. Lord Jesus Christ, please forgive us. We are the ones who did wrong when we thought we did right. I encourage you (whoever is reading this) to stand strong when no one else is. It may be tough, but I believe when you have Jesus Christ with you no one will ever judge, criticize and neglect you. :)

I've been hurt very badly by someone whom I gave full ability to destroy me. It has been almost 5 or 6 months, and my emotions vary between feeling deeply hurt to horribly angry, but it usually gets back to feeling hurt. This song struck a chord in me. While I'm a Christian (or at least I'd like to think I am), I haven't really felt God in my lowest of times, but I hope this is a way of him talking to me? Through the song. Thank you for this song

Mike, you amd your band have helped me through my mother's death, an abusive boyfriend of my daughter, who the drove our car from Minneapolse to CO and now my licesense plates are missing. My 2 daughters and I are disabled from a genetic condition called Elerds Danlos {as am I, prev being a family doc}. I try to forgive this bum, but it's hard. I believe God will see us through this, but today, it's just a lot of crying {btw, I cry every 6 mo whether I need it or not} But thank u again for your music which tells me I can be broken but still in God's Grace
Gosh, i get goosebumps when i listen to this song!!!!! This song can literally move me to tears. Forgiveness is one of the hardest things to do, but simply letting go of the anger and resentment burning within will also release hatred. Like the song says, why in the world do we think hatred will change anyone's heart? It won't. They don't even have to be sorry to forgive them. Forgiveness is as much for you as it is for the person.
This song came on the radio today as I was driving. Our lives recently seem to be filled with so much defeat. I am tired of losing to those who are consumed with themselves. I've seen a lot of racism and bullying around me during my teenage and I never realized that I never really forgave those people until today
I used to think that some people actually deserve to be hated and I wished that they could suffer as much they hurted people around them but that's not what the Bible says, it's says to forgive no matter what happened 🙏🏽

Thank you. I just accidentally learned of this song today .. my car radio played this .. I have Listened to it a million times today alone.. trying to drowned out the poison .. as I’m a walking target in my home..I’m in a very bad situation .. as a result, I am trying to sell my home to start a new life to be with my children and be with my parents 1500 miles away .. it’s so hard.. so hard.. I pray for strength daily and the ability to forgive and not respond to the rhetoric and toxicity in my home. Lord help me.. he hears my prayers I know.. I know he does. needed to hear this today.
I just can't deal with it anymore. I am 15 with a 17 year old sister and she drives me insane. It is more than just the average sibling rivalry, it is rare there are days where we talk to each other on friendly terms. She mocks, pokes fun and ridicules everything I do. I am not saying I'm not guilty of being like this to her but I try to maintain self control. I try not to retaliate and I generally follow the "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything" rule. But I feel like that us unhealthy, when I do lash out(verbally of course) I come out hard. I feel all the anger I keep contained just wants to come out. At this point I avoid human contact. But when this happens in the car on the way home from dinner, trouble is for sure. I just got horribly mad. I even made my mom upset (which is not something I do) I thought of this song listened, prayed for help to forgive my sister but I feel we will never have a relationship beyond hate for one another. I just can't bring myself to forgive her for 15 years if torment. Please can anyone give me advice.

Jed I know what you are talking about and that was my life at one time.Jeus was led to captivity by hate, he knew the day would come when men would revile him and persecute him, but he choose instead of justice, he choose mercy. He prayed for thier forgiveness even while yet alive pinned to a tree. You will find when you seek God to forgive you and ask for his wisdom he will give you the tender mercies of grace to help you fight back the urges of injustice and seek instead mercy for your sister when the transformation is done all the words spoken that harm you will melt her heart at a kind response. To show love in the face of ridicule and hurt is the bravest thing most manly thing you can ever do, i pray for you that this will take hold in your life. If you allow him to it will be your relationship with your sister that will transform both lives.

Me and my sister are a lot like this at times. Im the older one and we have always had a rocky relationship, coming from the older view ill tell you what i know based on mine and my own sisters relationship, now not everyones circumstances are the same, i hope it helps though. my families life has always been rough with an unpredictable father, but at least we have a god fearing mother, to make a long story short lets just leave it as we had a rocky upbringing, I have always had a hard time expressing emotions such as love happiness all things good. and i anger quickly, now i love my sister with all my heart always have but like any younger sibling she grates on my nerves we argue we fight but i always thought that she knew that i loved her even though we fight and stuff. she has gotten older n we have had more stuff in common so we haven't argued as much s of late but when we do its bad. any ways recently while talking with my mom i found out that my sister thinks i hate her, now let me just tell you that it broke my heart to hear that, i love her and i would fight and protect her with everything i have i just have never been one to express my feelings just because. We older siblings just don't really think about it we honestly can be clueless and don't know . if she were to tell me i would have been shocked n told her other wise there is a part of me that may have gotten upset and lashed out like are you stupid y would you think that?? its not that we mean it its just the shock of it we wouldn't know how to respond in any other way.. you have to talk to her.. if you feel a certain way tell her if you just want to build a relationship with her tell her hey i know we don't get along much but i don't like being like this i don't like arguing can we start over and build a relationship together? do something you both like to do if there is nothing find something maybe just sit n watch a movie together or get coffee(tea, ice-cream what ever) together and just talk. ask her if you can just do that like once a week to start things will get better you just have to talk
Honestly I understand what you are going through. Sometimes we feel overwhelmed by life especially with people around us. I will tell you to PRAY and talk to God about the situation with your sister. God doesn't want to see you give up and he understands what you are going through. And also ask yourself this question. What is my sister going through that makes her angry all the time? You see sometimes people just need a pray. Pray for her and ask God to help her with whatever she might be facing in life. And as for you Pray that God will use you to show her his Loving character. Please help me to forgive my birth father who abused and left my mom when I was born. And please help me to learn that I'm enough and to love my adoptive parents. Please anybody, please pray for my birth family. I was born in the Philippines and my mom had me when she was 16 and she had my 4 sisters before me. If you think I'm trying to get attention go ahead and think that I don't care. I cry every night wondering If my birth mom actually ever loved me, but I know that God loves me. This song touches my heart every time I listen to it. I recently went through a tough breakup and my ex is now in love with some other girl (we’ve only been broke up for 3 months) and he was talking to her while we were still together. I grew a hatred for them both and couldn’t stand to see them together. Listening to this song I laid all that down and chose to forgive them to have peace in my heart.

Being a transgender Christian, this song really resonates with me. I've heard a lot of hateful things from quite a few people that I, at one time, considered to be my greatest friends. Some days, I think I'd rather deal with the average youtube troll than some people I've walked side by side with. All I can do now is just repeat these words "Father, please forgive them, they don't know what they are doing."

People base their statements on limited knowledge and God knows all. People can hurt others, even persecute other Christians, by their perspectives formed from their own limited understanding of a situation. There was a particular brother and sister in Christ who took their limited knowledge and used to harm me and my wife. In fact, I was charged with crimes based on my wife stating she felt like she was going to "lose it." I was eventually exonerated, but I realized it would not matter whether I have the great career I have now (better than the one before) or ended up on the streets, God heard my cries and has been my 'Rock and my fortress" since those unfortunate events. No one knows the power of words anymore and are willing to take down their neighbors without ever knowing they did wrong, but that does not matter because it only points us away from faith in people and towards faith in an All Knowing and All powerful Holy God.
I feel like the whole world needs to hear this and think.
