For being the fourth oldest ballpark (or so) in MLB Angel Stadium still looks great. It's clean and organized and it's nice to see families enjoying a game. Now, if only owner Arte Moreno would sell the team. 🤔🤔
@@dalestales8861 It was originally a baseball only stadium when it opened in 1966. It really wasn’t a multipurpose stadium in the vein of the 70s cookie cutters. Great video! I have never seen the concourse walk around till now. For that stadium, I wish they could have gone back to the mid-century look and feel it had prior to the Rams moving there in 1980 as opposed to the faux retro feel Disney gave it. Oh well.
On February 21, 2023, Dean Spanos will sell a 55% stake in the Chargers to Angels owner Arte Moreno for $4 billion. Following the 2029 NFL season, the Chargers will opt out of SoFi Stadium, move to Anaheim and play at their new $2.75 billion 68,000-seat open-air venue on a parking lot adjacent to Angel Stadium beginning in the 2030 NFL season, leaving the Rams the only NFL team playing at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. On August 23, 2027, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Chargers’ new stadium adjacent to Angel Stadium will take place.

Awesome vid! Gonna go there tomorrow for the Angels vs Reds! Can’t wait to see Ohtani!
Glad you liked it! Cool ballpark! Enjoy it
It’s not duel purposes anymore
They host a couple of HS footgames here but that’s all
Rams don’t play anymore here
Yes, you are correct. However it is the only remaining stadium that was built for the dual purpose that is still being used for MLB games.
what are some must do's at the park if you have never been???
Go sit at the open patios and open restaurants and watch the game
Baseball game for me is an excuse to get drunk
Go to Yankees Stadium Next!!!
Dual stadium?
Baseball and what else?
Baseball only now, has hosted nfl Rams in the past
@@dalestales8861 Got it.
Still glad it is still home to the Angels.

Sounds amazing! Looking forward to seeing that…
But can you tell me who is winning the World Series this year?
It seems like Angels fans do everything at the ballpark, except watch the game
It does feel that way at a lot of ballparks these days.
let me take one from its curve]
