- I am a huge Angels fan and have been going to games my whole life. So to celebrate the Anaheim Angels' 50th Anniversary, I decided to build a 4'X4' model of Anaheim Stadium complete with LED lights and ambient sound. I completed this project in the summer between my freshman and sophomore years of high school - it took me about 2 months to complete. The last picture in the video is of Gene Autry giving an inaugural speech on Opening Day of Angels Stadium, 1966. I dedicated this model to my grandfather, my biggest fan, who took the picture that day.
Great job, Brett! I am a Yankees fan and I used to live in Fullerton and go to games all the time in the 1960's and 70's at your stadium. One of my best friends used to play on the field where the stadium sits, when he was a kid. I saw Nolan Ryan pitch a two-hitter there in the mid-70's. What a tribute to your team! Congratulations!

Sooo cool! I grew up in OC, and my parents took me and my sister to games all the time in the late 60s and 70s. My mom would "score" the games and taught me how to use the program to track everything in the game. I saw Nolan Ryan, too! (I even saw Donny Osmond play there--you're too young to know Donny Osmond!) Thanks for reminding me of where I learned to love baseball.
That is by far the coolest angels merchandise I have ever seen in my life!
