Amazing sound, exhaust, performance and review. Appreciate you for putting this together. Can't wait to get my first Dundon exhaust one day! Also, can't believe the car is running that fast 60-130. It's an absolute animal. I think it will pull on my touring big time :) Can't wait to run them back to back one day...
Hey Pete, great review. I can't wait to get my 992. Just to clarify, there is no such thing as race or normal mode. The exhaust button on the car is simply there to quiet the car down at idle. It doesn't do anything else. As soon as you move the car the exhaust valves operate the same.
Thanks Matt! Big fan. Yeah theres not a huge difference. The exhaust button only slightly changes the rpm for opening and closing (maybe 500 rpm) and also opens a second intake flap. I can hear this now that i have the full exhaust. Its slightly different reaonance even if i leave the valves fully open woth the cargraphic valve controller . Btw im selling this setup in like 2-3 weeks because im swapping to 4rs if youre interested
The DAs werent perfect but the sub 8 sec 60-130 in a gt3 is definitely a hero run. The touring is pretty consistent tho its really fast especially with pdk and better exhaust flow
Love this review along with the Spyder review with your friend's Kline exhaust! Do you think this Dundon set-up or the full Kline Inconel exhaust w/ 200 cell cats would be better for my 2022 Cayman GTS 4.0L? Having trouble deciding since most of the YT videos on these wonderful high-end exhausts are for the Spyder.
Theyre both good. Dundon headers make more power but currently only stock muffler option. Kline sounds better but make less power. Either way if i got a gts 4.0 i would exhaust it up and tune it 100%. Get them 200 rpms back
I havent personally heard both on the 992. Per jamie the titanium is smoother and sounds better. In my experience the pitch is much higher with the Ti rear at least compared to anything ive heard on other 992 and their steel muffler on the 991.2. Im also getting a 4rs in a few months so my exhaust will be up for sale in a couple weeks for similar price to their steel system new.
Aftermarket headers (any brand) can affect powertrain warranty. It depends what happens and who is fixing it but thats part of the risk of modding. Rear sections (leaving the headers which contain cats and opf matrix alone) will usually not affect the warranty to the same extent. Most dealers will tell u rear section only is fine. But the manufacturer warranty policy should be in your owners manual in greater detail. I dont think porsche will vaporize the warranty for your entire car via gps if thats what youre asking. But you can run into problems if you blow the motor or pdk. Bmw on the other hand is extremely strict about this stuff. If youre concerned about warranty, best not to do headers
Very little. 2-3k rpm with the pdk. Its actually intake resonance in my opinion because the 992 have bmc filters. If it had paper filters i dont think it would have any resonsnce at all. The intakes are extremely loud on this car even stock

Great review Pete, I am considering the same setup. Did you end up selling the exhaust?
I did sell it when i swapped cars. Feel free to reach out on instagram @plifechannel or email at plifechannel@gmail.com if you have any questions
I love the touring version the most. Such a clean and classy look!👍
Thanks Robert!
Your on a “mission from God” in that GT3! Nice review Elwood!

As a Mets fan, I have total respect for White Sox fans. Neither of us are front runners. ⚾
I just got the plate cuz its black🤣 but also agree
@@plife911 LOL! My youngest daughter and I are huge Rangers fans. Them and the 'Hawks are original six teams, the rest are all pretenders! 🏒
@@plife911 Also, I'm a whistleblower at a major bank. When I get my settlement I'm going to make my Porsche dealer very happy!!!
Companies like hydra motor offer a tune for 992 GT3s too
Love the disregard and mild hate for the hellcat
Definitely do not want to offend hellcat owners. Its a different tool for a different purpose. Definitely also very fast
That's the best gt3 sound I've heard............
I agree 100%. Cameras dont do it justice
Hey, have you sold your exhaust already! I’m looking for this setup.
Is it loud titanium or steel?
Thanks 🙏
@@davidsalomon3348 sold long ago had Ti loud muffler
Wonder the difference in your 60-130 given same DA.

Great review Pete! That 60-130 is nuts! What’s the 0-60 time with this setup?
Appreciate the video … thank you

@@brianhimmelman420 for my gt3 i ended up also running a Bc fabrications inconel rear section after this.
Can you compare the Dundon Titanium loud muffler vs their Lifetime loud muffler? Any difference in overall sound / loudness / cabin noise / drone?

sounds really good. not worried with the warranty gone though?
Thanks. Warranty is an individual decision. I camt comment for others but i ran the system
How much is the exhaust? Looks like about $13,500 on their website?
Sounds about right for the steel one…exhausts have become more expensive across the board in the last couple years but its worth it in my opinion.
Wow 😮.
😳🤯
Anyone know if this will void your warranty or not?

Talk too much . Need more video from the car.
Pointless. Leave it stock

Great content. Highly recommend to learn how to handle the GT3 and steering instead of exhaust volume.
Thanks for watching the exhaust video
