Love the Johnston/Quayle-style chromatic legato lines in the opening solo

I never heard of Qualy and Johnston is awesome too.
Right now I'm liking Julian here:
      ua-cam.com/video/XYN-sIzb_bs/v-deo.htmlsi=S3KlQtc65NaH195L
, never heard of him until a few days ago and I absolutely love his sound too.
You guys would love him too because most people here love mixed style so you'll be in for a treat 😉

Pls start the series or episode where you jam in YT backing track and explain what you playing there. 😊😊

I approach improv and teach it the same way. Use pentatonic major and minor as your foundation and then add the extensions for that modal flavor as needed. Great video! Just subbed🙌🤘

Thanks so much for this lesson man.
The 9th makes this sooool satisfying.
No wonder Opeth use that 9th so much.
Also when I was talking about the modal stuff I didn't even realize you were using the major scale.
I don't have my guitar yet and am a bit rusty so when you say 9th was that the major 9th and would you be able to use the minor 9th too. I wonder how would you use both major and minor 9th together ❤️
Great lesson as always Giuseppe 👍

minor 9th is just 1 semitone up from the root, so its definitely trickier to use, sounds cool especially for dominant chords/functions. major 9th sounds cool on both maj7 and min7 chords

Great video! What's the jam track you use in the last jam?

    @Rehmoss
When you say Johnson are you talking about Nick who now sings yet I prefer his instrumental better.
And Giuseppe with the nice jazzy fusion stuff.
I Love that even though it was more a smooth jazz feel.
Would javelin loved to hear some modal runs that would have made it supper fusiony yet that sounded like a soft part of a ballad.
I would imagine that the progression would have to change yet was craving to hear some transpositions and even some modulation that would have been mind-blowing yet your playing was mind-blowing especially at that 0:17 those fucking bends going into 0:24 note.
Sounded like some Opeth stuff with the playing off Frederick for those runs.
    Great stuff bro 👏

Hi !! when you recomend spell out chord changes and when to use only one scale?
for me like in this jamtrack in the first section the chords go really fast to spell the changes, can You make a video talking about this? Thanks for all the videos

When is the aluminum coming because if you have the previous electonic/djent with this in one song or others songs from the set, wow.
Also Nihil is one of my favorite 😍songs from you and with this style in the same album would be amazing.
I made a poem to Nihil and am trying to make a little montages video with ai and would love for you to experience it Giuseppe 😀
