Loved this! Unfortunately there's a lot of fear mongering happening in the CGM curly/wavy community that spreads misinformation. You probably know this already since the way you worded the part about the ingredients was very amicable. Hopefully people won't be offended. Fact is unless someone is educated in beauty product formulation and actually understands how all of the ingredients work together, have tested them in the lab etc, they can only make assumptions on products. That's why proclaiming people with wavy or curly hair can't use silicones and sulfates is such a frustrating topic because it's not rooted in fact. I'm a wavy girl as well and my scalp and hair do very well with both silicones and sulfates. It's actually super important for me to blow dry my hair most wash days since I'm prone to yeast on my scalp (as many many other people are as well btw!) which causes really itchy scalp that doesn't go away from using anti-dandruff shampoo (even medical grade). It has to be a at least 2% anti fungal shampoo etc, Long story short: I love that you research a lot for your videos and keep saying that you're not an expert and trying different things to see how your hair reacts to it. Are you planning a wavy girl routine video including sulfates, silicones etc. by any chance? I thought the results from this gel were really impressive. Many combining a nourishing curl cream or a spray leave in conditioner before the gel would help avoid the dryness? Just some ideas - love your content as per usual and love the reddish eyeliner. :) xx
My hair is super frizzy unstyled because it is wavy. When i heat style my hair it gets very glossy and smooth. I've accepted it because trying to diffuse my hair is such a pain in the ass.
I didn't know Eco-gel was in trouble because of toxic ingredients. Well, hopefully, they changed everything to work better. I never really used Eco-gel because it used to flake up in my hair. I feel like Eco-gel vs combat gel would be interesting for buns, and ponytails.
to be honest the whole drama over the ingredients was about 6 years ago now (which i think is why they changed the ingredients since then!) but i found it very interesting. :)
Honestly girl, I really wish I had wavy hair, I have curly hair like 3b and its such a pain, I find wavy hair so beautiful and angelic, please appreciate it! :)
Hi Isabella, have you ever tried hair twist? I don't remember if I have seen you try it or not. It really helped my hair get used to curling the way I want it. I do 2 or 4 big twists and leave it in over night or for a day.
I have wavy hair and really like this gel! I use a curl cream underneath so maybe a thicker leave in would help mitigate the drying aspect for you? i also scrunch it in upside down over the shower floor while my hair is sopping wet and it really helps with wave definition and getting the product evenly distributed since it’s so thick and sticky
Ever tried uncle funkys curly magic? It’s a wonderful botanical gel which makes it more nourishing for the hair. I have a kinky hair type so I’d be curious to see out it works on your hair
I am not really into using gel myself, but have you ever tried Combat Gel? The woman who owns that company seems to have similar hair type to yours, and she has gels for many hair types.
It’s not good to add water and product to your hair everyday. You need to apply your leave in and gel in sections for a STRONG HOLD, then scrunch out the crunch with oil once it’s dry. Your hair should last at least 5 days
It suits your hair if you did a full ccm . Because you use it on top of a hydrating product and you didn't so it's normal to look like this . Try it with a full routine and you will love it. Also people need to stop looking and searching ingredients... you guys aren't even pharmacist you have no idea how much it is added .. there are measurements and amount of stuff that is completely safe to add. Stop searching yall just stop
Your hormone cycle 100% effects the way your hair looks. That's why so many hair problems can occur with hormone imbalances. Also, if you want to learn about a chemical risks without a silly rating system, read the Saftey Data Sheet.

ISABELLA YOUR WAVY HAIR LOOKS AMAZING
The Eco PINK gel is so much more curl enhancing. I don’t know why more people don’t use it.
Honestly this is the best way your hair ever looked ....
You’ve got 2A hair. I’ve never really seen that before so I’m interested in how it looks. I think your hair is beautiful, especially from the back. 💖

As someone who used eco gel for a year. It does cause breakage and hair fall. I style my hair once a week and it still caused damage and breakage.
12:02 Black top looks so good on you👌

Your second half of the hair is lighter than root hair. Interesting..looks nice either way. ❤
Yes it’s because I dyed it red a few years ago x
Hair gets lightened by the sun, so the lengths and ends will be lighter than the roots
