+Penison Wenda except Jesus Christ was the only person that hung bloody and bruised on a cross for your redemption. No other religious leader laid down their life for us, wretched and rebellious hearted sinners. No other religious leader is even worthy to untie Jesus's sandals, much less righteous enough to carry His cross to pay our penalty. Jesus said no one is good except God, so why do you think we could possibly live good lives? Even if we could, we're not commanded to live good lives; we're commanded to live perfect lives. Be perfect just as God is perfect. That's God's standard: perfection. To an all perfect God, Isaiah said even our most righteous deeds are like filthy rags. So, unless we are perfect, there's absolutely no possible way for us to get to heaven on our own merit. That's why Jesus came to earth. He lived the perfect life on our behalf and then traded his righteousness for our sin and judgement and penalty. He traded places with us so we could have eternal life.
+Duck-fil-A so to say that if you live a good life that you will get to heaven is just simply not true. Please don't be deceived into thinking you can earn your salvation. It is motivation and the spirit speaking to me through you and explains fully my own journey I just went through to rediscover my true love for Jesus. And now, I walk with him in my heart more than ever... Chills shoot down my body when I speak to anyone and profess the glory of God! I see it in you Clayton just as I feel it in me. You do not truly understand what your videos have done for me the past couple weeks. Not only gave me strength but confirmation of what the lord is telling me and telling me what to do. Theres never a time to not pray. I figured that everyone always takes a tiny step back. I myself have subtly not been to church in 5 months. My pastor left us and our church went into financial troubles. We have new pastors coming in all the time, but church was never the same since we had our old pastor that inspired me to give faith a chance. And since ive gone away to college i feel even more distant toward the lord. Clayton says hes no one special, but I disagree because he s always on facebook and on youtube to remind me of where it all comes down to. Having my head wrapped around girls, failing to get my work done, sleepless nights of goofing off doing nothing. I've been away from the Lord. I pray for you and your marriage. I hope that even in a difficult time you love your wife and kids just as much as God loves you and please pray for me as well as I look to get back into my faith stronger than ever before. @@GenZForGod Good i suppose, just embracing the suck (grunt humor) went into the DEP program at 17, finished HS and joined the marines at 18, MOS 0311, going on a deployment in 2 and half weeks (trying to follow opsec and keep as much info as confidential as possible over social media). Being unable to sleep at 2300 on a soft bed while being able to sleep on hard ass ground at 1200 in 96 degrees while in full kit. Addicted to nicotine and caffeine to cope with the "suck", the usual grunt life.
It wasn't too long ago I swallowed a bottle of 500 milligrams of pills and I still survived and now I realize what I'm here on this for. Thank you Clayton.
Wow... This is so crazy. Just last night I was talking to my friend about getting baptized. We played a game on one on one basketball and i said if he won I would get baptized. We played and he ended up winning it all by one point. We talked about it and I have been thinking about it anyway but I still wasn't sure. I prayed about it last night and opened up to Jesus. And this very next morning My other friend Chris reached out to me and said this youtube video reminded him of me. And now I'm in tears. Jesus you reached out to me. This is not a coincidence. My mind has been made up. I'm getting saved!!

For so long I have ran as far away from Jesus as I could get for fear of my fiance's opinion of me. Fear of him mocking me the way he mocks others. Your videos have inspired me. In the fourteenth verse of the sixth chapter of the second epistle of Corinthians, there is a very important verse that a lot of people have forgotten about: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath light with darkness? and what communion hath righteousness and unrighteousness?". In another words, you can't be holding on to sin and to Christ too. You must choose one or the other. Now I am not saying leave him. However, I am saying that if he absolutely will not choose Christ, then why do you even delight to be with him?

I'm crying because every time I drew closer and closer to God I lose friends, and people that were closer to me. Some of the same people come back to you years later wanting to know more about Jesus. Thank you so much and continue doing what you're doing. I tried going back into the world and I did things of the world and I started talking to people that would stray me back away from God, but every time God bring me back to where he wants me to be. I was searching for physical love even though I know that God's love is the only love that I need. There isn't no other love like God's love. I just listened to this. My son is an addict. He is rehab again. Last time he was clean a little longer. He said the difference in before and now is before he did it for everyone else, now he's doing it for himself. God has a plan for him and saved his life so many times. My son is like some of your friends you talk about in this video. He's been saved but he needs to be strong and take a stand for Christ. I'm praying he does because then I will know "he's become a man" instead of a 27 year old boy~ Thank you for this video. I love it!

Am 32 years old but 6 years old I did know what being a man was I acted like a boy drinking and using drugs but at the age of 26 I found Jesus at a Christian Discipleship program I'm going on 6 years clean and sober and now and engaged to a beautiful woman and now my life has a reason

We watched one of your videos at our youth nights at church on wends day yesterday and it effected us so much the words you spoke went through our ears and touched our hearts and last night I saw lives changed

Clayton, your video's are inspiring. I have only just come across them this Sunday morning, and plan on showing my 11 year old son upon waking. My prayer for you is that this doesn't go to your head. On top of your good looks and charismatic nature you have such a gift, and all too often these gifts can get you in trouble. I just listened to this. My son is an addict. He is rehab again. Last time he was clean a little longer. He said the difference in before and now is before he did it for everyone else, now he's doing it for himself. God has a plan for him and saved his life so many times. My son is like some of your friends you talk about in this video. He's been saved but he needs to be strong and take a stand for Christ. I'm praying he does because then I will know "he's become a man" instead of a 27 year old boy~ Thank you for this video. I love it!

Am 32 years old but 6 years old I did know what being a man was I acted like a boy drinking and using drugs but at the age of 26 I found Jesus at a Christian Discipleship program I'm going on 6 years clean and sober and now and engaged to a beautiful woman and now my life has a reason
