    Great lesson. Intro 1:36, 2nd section 7:59, 3rd 9:48, "chorus" 10:57 and break in the chorus 14:56

Love when people share their own arrangements and leave plenty of room for people to work out details for themselves. This is a beautiful arrangement for acoustic. Very soulful. Best part of this guy's approach is that he never says "this is the *right* way" Only this is what I think sounds good... or works... or is easy for me... Thank you for sharing.

    Pure McCartney musicality, genius.

I had the same problem for about a year too. I find it really helps to just sing the words in your head while playing at first, then hum, and then just try to sing it. If you can't do it at first, just keep trying. Now once I know the words and how to play a song, I just put two and two together, and I've got a song! Hope this helps :)

This is really great! I was working it out myself before I saw this video and wondered if a drop D tuning could help given that the song is so bass driven and it would actually help with some of the positioning.

Been playing since I was 8 years old. Just turned 50 last week. Received a beautiful Martin acoustic as a present from my wife - and then...came across this lesson. I was going to skip it because i was looking for a vid lesson with tabs, but this is so much fun and such a great version that hits the all the right notes whether it be on the guitar or emotionally. It's those little extra efforts you put into it that make the entire song worthwhile. Thanks much and cannot wait to show off once I practice the blazes out of this thing. -~-~-~-~-~-~-~ And I may as well ask, is there TAB available? PS - you and your buddy there make for some fun viewing and learning. Keep up the good work and thank you so much.

What I did was play along with the song first, so you get the rythm together with the lyrics. Then sing along while just forming the chords and not strumming. Then work in strumming. It helps a lot if you know the song you are trying to sing really well :)
