🇬🇧10 Minute Egg Drop Soup 🇭🇺 Gyors Tojásleves 🇪🇸Sopa de Huevo de 10 Minutos This soup can be made using the stock the root vegetables were cooked in the video or just make it separately any day following the recipe below. Use chicken or beef stock. 🌱For a vegetarian soup, use vegetable stock. Ingredients / Hozzávalók / Ingredientes: 1L - 4 cups meat or vegetable stock / 1 doboz hús- vagy zöldségalaplé (kb. 1L) / Caldo de carne o verduras 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil or lard / 2 evőkanál növényi olaj vagy zsír / 2 cucharadas de aceite vegetal o manteca de cerdo 1 teaspoon flour / 1 teáskanál liszt / 1 cucharadita de harina 1 teaspoon paprika / 1 teáskanál fűszerpaprika/ 1 cucharadita de pimentón 1 tablespoon tomato paste / 1 evőkanál paradicsompüré / 1 cucharada de pasta de tomate 1 whole egg / 1 egész tojás / 1 huevo entero 1 teaspoon farina (cream of wheat) / 1 teáskanál farina / 1 cucharadita de farina Salt & pepper / Só és bors / Sal y pimienta Chopped green onions / Apróra vágott zöldhagyma / Cebollas verdes picadas ■In a smaller pot, warm up the oil or lard. ■Add the flour and stir vigorously to avoid lumps. (We are making a very thin roux, just giving the soup a little body). ■Let the roux bubble up a little, then add the paprika. ☝️Stir quickly as the paprika tends to burn easily and pour in some broth for the same reason. ■Mix in the tomato paste and stir until you get a smooth mixture. ■Pour in the rest of the broth and let it come to a boil. ■In the meantime, beat the egg with the farina and a pinch of salt. ☝️Pour it slowly in the boiling soup, moving a fork quickly where the egg drops in the soup to avoid large pieces forming (see in video). ■Season with black pepper.
