Philips needs to call this guy and run an ad campaign with him! He sells the OneBlade better than their website!
Thanks! Do you live in the US?
@@averageguytested Yep, I'm sold. Gonna go pick one up
Yeah he's a good representative for Oneblade. But one thing I haven't heard him explain: Why does the blade wear out so quickly? I've heard that if the blade is used twice weekly for four months, you must replace it. But why? What on the device wears out? Apparently it's not the blades themselves, but a series of wires criss-crossing through the center of the blade. The reason I ask is that the blade is expensive, and there seems no reason for the center material to wear, because it performs no function. So what is it in the use of the blade that wears the criss-cross wires? And why doesn't Phillips simply delete those wires, and replace them with solid plate?
I think he should be "The Face of OneBlade" for Philips.
+I wish! nor doal
maybe he already is and this is secretly sponsored by phillips, is there any way to tell for sure?
Ya 👍 👍
Your oneblade videos were the reason i have the oneblade shaver now. I was having problems when it came to shaving amd my face was a mess (ingrow hairs, razor burn). I stopped shaving all together to get my face in a good condition and bought this after seeing your reviews. I thought, hey why not give it a try - that being said, i had only heard positive things about the shaver. Gotta say, i think i finally have a product that works for me! I love the oneblade and thank you for the videos. Keep pushing play!
+that makes me feel good. Thanks for sharing! Mike Jones
Yup. I watched a lot of videos in UA-cam about OneBlade, but only your videos make me buy this product. So today I buy it, as a UA-camr will make an unbox video and will use it. Thank you very much for your time filming this.
Man I love your videos. Just a chill dude giving some reviews on wicked shit. Keep up the good work fella. Canada enjoys ya!
Glad you kept the faith with the OneBlade. Most reviews are just that...one review....You on the other hand... Regular reviews over a whole year. Well done.
The best razor/trimmer/shaver on the market by far. OneBlade is the future and you can buy it now!
+#truth thanks for watching! nor doal
Keep pushing play please, this guy deserves it.
+thanks Mr. Smooth! HahasoNotorious 327
theMediaMart how do you think this shaver works for black men ? will you get razor bumps ?
My man flint Don't really know, gotta try it
HahasoNotorious 327 oh k dog you for us brothers with course hair it's hard to find good razors you feel me? I brought this wahl bump free rechargeable shaver and it worth Jack shit !
My man flint Yeah I hear the barbershop shop get my money lol
Who would've thought I'd pass my spare time by watching another guy shave. 😊 Thanks dude, I got myself a OneBlade.
Awesome!! Let me know what you think about the OneBlade.
It’s great to see a product recommendation not in partnership but just because you enjoy the product. I am tempted to give it a go as I have to be Uber careful as I nicked myself once and had to have an operation to stop the bleeding. I know crazy right.
You've got a great attitude, with an added bit of 'dry wit'. Thank you for an informative demo. Cheers!
Thanks, my friend!
Thanks for this awesome review. I have problems shaving around my Adams apple as well. When I use my regular electric razor I have to tug at my skin and apply a lot of pressure to the razor. Now I think I will go get one of these. You made it look effortless.
🖐🏽👍🏽
Thanks Bro I was thinking of purchasing one of these seen both your reviews. You have made my mind up for me am purchasing soon. Good luck with PHILIPS mate. 👍
Thanks for watching and let me know what you think once you try it.
I’ve personally invested heavily financially and practically in shaving. Here’s what I’ve found based on years of experience looking for shave I want. (I want the smoothest quick shave without getting ingrown hairs or irritation.)
1) Annually, with daily shaving, the Oneblade will cost the same as buying the Braun Series 9 with cleaning cartridges replacing the cleaning cartridge solution every 19 cycles (I took over two weeks to count exactly how many cycles until the light turns on.)
2) The Philips Norelco OneBlade doesn’t provide the closest shave when “close” is defined by the length of hair protruding from the skin. However, “smoothness” I have found the OneBlade can provide (with extra work) a shave nearly as smooth as a Double Edge Safety Razor. This is all from my experience, not the opinions of others.
3) Using Leftric Shave or another electric pre-shave will make this even smoother.
If your goal is the closest shave, the Gillette Fusion 5 should be the winner because it will cut under the skin, but that’s a problem. Cutting under the skin produces ingrown hairs. Don’t get me wrong, the experience of taking a warm shower followed by shaving against the grain with a new Gillette Fusion 5 ProGlide using the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive 2 in 1 Shave Gel is AMAZING. (Assuming you didn’t break out in ingrowns the next day.) But you know, like I do, that those sharp, amazing shave experiences don’t last very long on those blades.
In my experience, the way to get an oil-covered baby butt dish soap lathered slip and slide smooth shave is using a double-edge safety razor. The best part is you don’t get breakouts. It takes time to learn, but I go against the grain nearly everywhere on its face every time I shave and am never disappointed by blade performance. Double edge safety razors are much sharper, profoundly cheaper, and easy to learn.
But you convinced me to purchase the one blade it looks like a awesome product
It’s pretty cool!
Hey a Michigan fan I was born and raised thanks for a great review
#GoBlue! Thanks for watching!
Cheers mate, just found out about Oneblade, and your reviews on it convinced me to buy it. Stay ace.
Thanks, brah! Good luck 👍🏽
trust me, your video is one of the BEST One Blade review/demo ever I have saw 🤩
Thanks!
Great great great review!
Thanks, brother!
After watching your one blade videos a million times i picked one of these up and i was astounded by how good it works! And i used it AAAAL over if you know what i mean 🤨
Absolutely amazing product! Thanks for your reviews! And thanks for your awesome videos! Ill keep pushing play as long as you keep pushing record.
Keep up the good work man 👍🏻 🤙🏻
Manscaping 😂 thanks!!
No fear ....only of the guy doing the review....I MEAN MOVING ON!!

Tony always fun, entertaining and interesting. I’m going to miss the daily videos l, usually watch them at 5:30am before my workout - you’re part of my daily routine. I don’t know why you get a hard time over the lip shaving. My wife appreciates my shaved lips, she demands smooth shaved lips I’m surprised it wasn’t in our wedding vows. Seriously thought OneBlade = Men’s Consumer Product of he Year. BTW Philips needs to send you a few replacement heads after all this marketing. I actually bought 2 new heads yesterday and there’s been a 20% increase in price here in the UK, don’t know what it’s like with you in the states. Still worth it though. Have a great day and keep pushing play!
+thanks, my friend. I'll make sure to continue to pump out videos on a regular basis. Next year I'll start to focus up on a few core topics. 👍🏽Sean McCloskey
Got it because of you!
Awesome!
Smart man one blade everything
👍🏽
I have to shave every day for work and I actually keep one of these in my truck for days that I am running late and don't have time to shave that way I can use this and shave at red lights and stop signs on the way to work. Definitely not my 1st choice when it comes to everyday shaving but it works in a pinch.
+yes, it's great to have as part of your shave game. Steven Cryar
I think I know what DADDY is asking for next month for Father’s Day!! Tony, I don’t know what you do for a living.... but you would make one hell of a salesperson!! You definitely have the “Gift Of Gab!” Thanks for the ONE BLADE journey tonight!! It’s almost 1:30am & PT is at 10am so I better grab some shuteye!! Goodnight my friend!! 💤💤💤💤
One Blade is the best!
I thought I was the only one that shaved my lips. Hi brother.
😂😂
I had lots of doubt about this OneBlade thing, I own lots of such tools and I have spent load of money to get the right tool and ,... and finally I saw your videos and watched most of them. really liked the comparisons and finally I bought one. OneBlade just simply works !! I'm using it for the past month and it just works. no fuss, no issues, no problem. Also one of the things that you never mentioned (as far as I've followed your videos) is that it is faster than normal razor blade or other trimmers! anyways, wanted to thank you for your informative videos. I don't care if you work for Philips or not, your reviews are as close to reality as one can imagine. Well done and continue the good work.
+thank you! This means a lot! Mehrad Mahmoudian
I have had one for a few months now. I am semi mobile and standing at the sink is a no. I use mine to dry shave. It does a good job and a rinse under the cold tap is fine.
I love One Blade. I’m happy to hear that it works well for you.
Convinced to buy this product after seeing this
Thank you ♥️
👍🏽 let me know how you like it.
AWESOME REVIEW
Thank you!!
Perfect ad campaign line, one blade the lawnmower of your face, one pass and your done.
Just bought this because of your 3 reviews. Also props for the many men song reference.
👍🏽
It’s not proper one blade is good to shave hair off but some people don’t. Like it. I love your way showing it
Thanks, my brother!
I just got one today and it those the job well that one~blade work's awesome
Good stuff! Thanks for watching!
I just got one.still charging.i cant wait.sorry my English.i am from Serbia and hope will be ok
Bought 2 today. :) For me and my father.
You’re a good man for taking care of your father!
this thing will save me so much time! shaving usually takes me 45 minutes to shave 2 months of growth (i have slow growth)
Indeed.
I like it . And yes it's not as close as a blade. For the week I use the one blade but if I'm going out I do a blade shave . Know what you are getting .
👍🏽
After viewing many of your videos on the Oneblade I decided to pull the trigger and get one and try it out. To be honest I did not expect much. From time to time I'll take a break from my DE razor and use my Andis T edgers to chop whiskers down. The day after doing so is when I bought the Oneblade. Charged it up and gave it a try and was very impressed. It cut the whiskers pretty darn close. I especially like on the trouble spots I have on my face. I have some smile lines on the side of my mouth that present a problem with a DE razor sometimes. The following day I shaved with a DE razor and got the smoothest shave I ever got in my life. All with no cuts or irritation. The Oneblade is a excellent choice to take a break from the razor and to reach those trouble spots. Two passes was all that was needed with the DE razor. I usually have to do at least three. The next time I use it I'm going to try it with shaving cream. So far I only used it dry. No irritation whatsoever or cuts. And most of all it cost less than my least expensive safety razor, the Merkur 34C.
Thanks for the awesome comment👍🏽 you use One Blade the exact way I do - in conjunction with a traditional blade. Live the hat, btw.
@@averageguytested Stetson Stratoliner in hemp. I love it like the Oneblade. 😉
👍🏽
Great job! I bought it and super! With foam I won't have everything hairy but it will go away faster without foam only I have to sweep.
👍🏽
A few comments, hair removed goes everywhere, don’t breathe in, you’ll get hair bits up your nose. Keep mouth shut to prevent hair bits In mouth. O/w great product!🙏🏻
👍🏽
I admire your determination. I don't think I could do it. GOOD video though!
+do what? Thanks and where have you been? misscinnabun79
@@averageguytested What, indeed. Haha
Love my one blade!
Wish the blades were a little cheaper, though!
$12.50 per blade is a kinda steep, even though these blades last 3-4 months before a change of blade is needed.
With the amount of times I use mine to trim my beard, and neck. the charge lasts nearly a month on a charge!
Doesn’t work all that well to shave my head, though.
The blade on the One Blade is NOT flexible at all, like most multi blade razors, so, the One Blade leaves quite a bit of stubble on my head.
This is a very good trimmer/razor for the face. Not good for head having, even it using shave cream or shave gel.
This is a great product for beard control, trims and beard sculpting and works decent aa a face shaver/razor, as well.
I have already watched a few of your One Blade videos, man!
You do a great job on these!
You SHOULD be working for Phillips/Norelco as a salesman/pitchman/marketing guy!
You really believe in this product and it shows in your videos!
Very good job doing these product videos!
FYI the standard OneBlade is on sale at most stores. To my knowledge it is approximately 1/2 price. I could be wrong, but it seems like they are clearing them out and maybe coming out with a new model. One other thing to note is that they are selling the OneBlade Pro again. Tony, I would be interested in your opinion of the pro model.
+done - I’ll order one tomorrow 👍🏽Jim Battista
thanks I brought it
It’s a good one.
nice love it
Thanks, Peter!
As a guy that switches back and forth between a goatee and a beard, I am considering getting this trimmer. From the different videos I’ve watched, it looks like this blade can take off heavy growth quickly. And I bet using this would cut down on the amount of cartridge razors I’d have to use.
Yes, Ronnie - One Blade is there ticket! It’s one of the best, most versatile grooming products I’ve tested.
Saw on Tucker Gott, bought because of theMediaMart reviews
Bingo! Enjoy!
Idk man I’ve been shaving my face with this every single day for the past week and it works pretty damn well. Its not the closest shave like a razor would do. However, my face gets destroyed from using a razor everyday so i was only shaving with a razor every 2-3 days which sucked because i like having a clean shaved face all the time. With this its virtually giving me that clean shave and i dont get any irritation at all whatsoever from using it everyday dry. Pretty dope. Was wondering, how often should you change the blade if your using this daily?
Hey there and thanks for watching. The directions say to change the blade every three months with normal use - which they say is about 3 times a week. I’d suggest you have blades handy and switch out when you experience a drop off in performance.
Game Changer ... the last straw for me was when i cut my top lip with a traditional razor, took a week to heal up ... I am never using a traditional razor again.
It is a great product👍🏽
After that I am buy one
Let me know what you think of it.
you just sold one, phillips really should be paying you!
They should - right?
@@averageguytested actually, after trying it i can safely say that this thing is a pile of shit. good for getting rid of beard on face but shit at removing from neck, takes way longer than normal shave
I love the one blade.. I got it to trim my beard with and shave my neck with. I grew a beard because I get ingrown hairs easy.. this thing works magic! I may shave my beard off in the spring when it warms up again.. curious how well my face will handle this thing or if I'll end up with zits all over my face like I get with a regular razer. peace bro!
Peace! Let me know how it works for you!
So how’d it go?
From what I hear in the video, the device makes some noise. Is it enough to wake others at home in the early morning?
I believe that it must have definitely a rechargeable battery. However, is it replaceable like cartridge razors? If so, do the cartridges exist in the market to buy easily? How long will this device last for using?
Embedded battery- not replaceable. It’s a bit noisy, but not terrible.
Did you replaced the blade already? And if so, how long did the first one last?
+it lasted me about 5 months shaving 1 to 3 Times a week. Tiago Adrião
Hello
One question please
Can you use it corded ? (Does it work when the cable plugged in ?)
Thanks in advanced for help
No - it doesn’t work while it’s charging.
The Kemei KM-1910 is also great, even better, as shown in some reviews with long beard. The Kemei performs stronger and price/quality ratio is better, also for replacement blades.
From Philips I am disapointed with a few other products, so I prefer chinese made product from the chinese made product, netherlands brandet ; )
🖐🏽
Mr Smooth operating Delvin lol
+😂😂😂HahasoNotorious 327
Is it any good if you shave every day and if you want the smoothest shave possible?
I’ve never used it everyday. It works best on longer stubble.
I use the shaver just like you for clean up than if I wanna get it super clean I hit it with a razor
Makes sense to me.
Phillips one Blade replacement are costlier than regular traditional Blades .but it's giving a good service though.
True
Average Guy I purchased the one blade today because I saw a few of your videos with 2 replacements. One bonus blade included for $17.47 it was a great deal I couldn't pass up! How long does a blade last I normally shave about 1 time every 2 weeks with a double edged razor. Thanks Average guy. Awesome videos! All the way from Miami Fl.
Thanks! I shave about 2 to 3 Times a week with it and I got about 4.5 months out of a single blade.
theMediaMart that's awesome looking at your facial hair you grow a thick beard like mine so I think It will definitely last me. Thanks for the videos!
It's an excellent product BUT when I charge it up for the first time,it didn't charge filly,& went flat in less than a minute.I charge it up for over 14 hours.Am I doing something wrong?
Sounds like a defective unit. I’d contact Philips Norelco Customer Service
I have to disagree with you on one point. I still shave to military standards, and my One Touch shaves close enough to pass inspection, every day. The trick is that you have to stretch your skin in front of the blade as you shave....then it's comparable to a straight-razor shave.
Cool. Good to know. 👍🏽
I love my one blade
I love it too!
@@averageguytested thanks for your review. I didn't know I could use shaving cream before I watched your video
Thanks! Good stuff!
Why isnt this under "Most satisfying video"?
Damn thing left him clean.
Got my vote.
Thanks for watching!!!
Agree for 💯
👋🏽
May 1 questions too you sir
What diafrant
Philips oneblade qp2520/70
And
Philips oneblade qp2525/10
I believe the 2525/10 may be an updated version of the 2520/70 - with an improved battery.
Very Well Said; Thank You For All EFFORT You Put Into Making Videos. .. what it is, is a 'trimmer', it's a trimmer that trims CLOSER and EASIER than any other trimmer there is. It trims almost as close as the closest shave. It is a great product, especially since I see that it lasts so long; it's Durable. Thanks. .... Philips should be compensating you for getting the word out. jmo
+thank you! bonanzatime
Thanks for covering the Oneblade. I think I'm going to buy one. I only wish it didn't look like a Ryobi power tool because of the color. 😆 Maybe I'll get the pro, but it's pricey in comparison.
It does look like it’s part of the RYOBI lineup 😂
How often did you/do you replace the blade? It's fairly steep at 11$ per replacement.
Depends on how often you use it. The norm is about 3 shaves a week - at that rate you’d change blades after 3 months or so.
@@averageguytested thanks for the information 🙏
@@averageguytested is it good for daily shaving?
U look good with stubble
Thanks, brah!
Ist There Some cheaper Version? Maybe better than Remington durablade?
I haven’t found one yet.
I am currently shaving with another electric razor that has something like a roller with a bunch of holes to cut the hair.Does anyone know if one blade will shave closer than that?
Not sure it will.
Can you make a video on how to clean this one blade
Sure. 👍🏽
I have a question! What is the diference between OneBlade qp2520 and qp2530??
I believe the difference is the number of trim combs that come in the kit.
The 2520 comes with 3 and the 2530 seems to be listed with 4.
how many times you changed the blade?
3 since I’ve owned it.
Can you do a comparison video on the Gillette fusion Proshield razor vs Philips oneblade please? 😊👍
+sure. Richiesmoove
it's not quite gillets mach 3 closeness. but I find that it's pretty darn close. closest I've ever had from a electric razor. and still have the ability to have nice clean lines for gotee or beard lines.
I agree. 👍🏽
theMediaMart at this point I'm curious. are you using the original blade?
I’m using the original one with the second blade. I also just purchased the PRO model. Have you seen my review of that?
Here’s my One Blade PRO review: ua-cam.com/video/rJAmJj3AfKg/v-deo.html
theMediaMart wow great value. for a 20$ blade. I just got mine a yesterday after watching your videos. but my Nick name is elchepo. so I bought the original one 😊. the pro looks great, but I figured I only shave once a week. so I dont need the battery percentage.
you make great videos 👍
I’m very prone to razor burn does it help that?
Yes
thanks for the vid ,just want to know can i avoid razor bumps with this
I haven’t had issues with Razor bumps, but I would think so because the hair is never cut below the skin with this device. Ingrown hairs are cause (as I’ve read) buy putting too much pressure on the blade and actually clipping the hair so short that it can get stuck in the skin as it grows out.
@@averageguytested thanks for your reply . I'll guess I'll give it a shot . because everything I use give s me issues with razor bumps blades and clippers and I shave with a very light hand especially with razors . but I will try have nothing to lose but the bumps lol . but thanks again my brother
👍🏽 let me know how it goes!
@@averageguytested well oll give it a shot , after that if this dont work im getting lazor treatments to kill the hair completly, nut once again i appreciaTE the vid and your replies .. ill keep you informed
Which blade is this? Is this the original one? I mean 1 blade is supposed to last 4 months... So without me having to calculate.... Which one is this?
This is the current unit. I bought it a few months back.
theMediaMart I meant is this the first original blade that came with the unit or the 1st replacement blade or the 2nd replacement blade etc... So on day 305.... Which blade are you on from where you started?
If the battery dies, can you use it while plugged in?
Good question. I don’t believe so, but I will check later tonight.
@@averageguytested and?
How many blades you used throughout the year of usage and how frequently you use it?
I believe I used 3. I use the One Blade about 2 times per week. I mostly use it to trim and remove long stubble as a first pass. You can’t beat it for that.
@@averageguytested Thank you very much for making preference easy.
Thanks for watching 👍🏽
how many times a week are you you using it and how many blades did you use in a year?
I use mine about once or twice a week. I change blades very infrequently
cheers man!
Thanks for watching!
Is it gives close shave like safety razor???
No, but it provides a good enough shave for most.
How long blade last with how many shaves weekly ?
15 shaves
it ok to shave my chest? it not necessary to be absolutely close shave, but to be effective and qiuck
Yes - or you can get the One Blade Face + Body model, which is designed for shaving the body.
Can we shave daily by using this?
Yes - limited to one pass. 👍🏽
Any advice for the flying hairs to not get it messy ?
Shave in the shower. Get yourself one of those suction mirrors that don’t fog and got to town.
@@averageguytested thank you 🙏
Anytime
After 52 uses, need to replace head, yet?
I replaced it after about a year, but I don’t use it every day.
How long did the blade last for you?
About 4 months. I don’t shave very often, maybe once a week with the One Blade because of all the shaving reviews I do.
@@averageguytested Oh that's good since i only shave once a week too and dont have a lot of facial hair so it probably lasts around a year for me ;D
👍🏽
The same blade of the first day?
No, the second after a year.
Do you use aftershave after using this?
Ps. I’m a new subscriber 👍🏻
Thanks for subscribing!!!
I don’t use after shave when using Blade - since there’s no irritation. I rarely use foam or cream with it - I find it’s best used dry.
how did you clean your one blade after the shave^^
Just warm water.
just the head or the whole razor and then you just let it dry or dry it with a towel, sorry for asking ^^
The razor is waterproof- you can take it in the shower. I just run the head under water and let it air dry.
Sorry, I'm a little hypochondriac, the rest hair you blow off or
No problem. It’s really easy to clean. You’d like it.

Nick Mee how the hell is that racist?? Lmaooo our country now a days...
Super what is the Model number???
👋🏽
How do you charge it?
with AC power.
Serious question. Does anyone know from experience, is the one blade good for shaving your “junk”?
Philips Norelco makes a similar product designed for manscaping. It’s called the body groomer I think.
Actually, you can get a body attachment set for the OneBlade that includes a piece for that....or you can buy the OneBlade Face and Body set that comes with the OneBlade plus the body addons. And for some reason, that version also boasts a longer battery life. It's about $55, I think.
is this thing waterproof???
Yes, you can use it either wet or dry.
Can i use skin guard to shave my beard
Yes
I means the skin guard for sensitive areas can shave my beard
You can.
