Yeah he's a good representative for Oneblade. But one thing I haven't heard him explain: Why does the blade wear out so quickly? I've heard that if the blade is used twice weekly for four months, you must replace it. But why? What on the device wears out? Apparently it's not the blades themselves, but a series of wires criss-crossing through the center of the blade. The reason I ask is that the blade is expensive, and there seems no reason for the center material to wear, because it performs no function. So what is it in the use of the blade that wears the criss-cross wires? And why doesn't Phillips simply delete those wires, and replace them with solid plate?

Your oneblade videos were the reason i have the oneblade shaver now. I was having problems when it came to shaving amd my face was a mess (ingrow hairs, razor burn). I stopped shaving all together to get my face in a good condition and bought this after seeing your reviews. I thought, hey why not give it a try - that being said, i had only heard positive things about the shaver. Gotta say, i think i finally have a product that works for me! I love the oneblade and thank you for the videos. Keep pushing play!

I’ve personally invested heavily financially and practically in shaving. Here’s what I’ve found based on years of experience looking for shave I want. (I want the smoothest quick shave without getting ingrown hairs or irritation.)
    1) Annually, with daily shaving, the Oneblade will cost the same as buying the Braun Series 9 with cleaning cartridges replacing the cleaning cartridge solution every 19 cycles (I took over two weeks to count exactly how many cycles until the light turns on.)
    2) The Philips Norelco OneBlade doesn’t provide the closest shave when “close” is defined by the length of hair protruding from the skin. However, “smoothness” I have found the OneBlade can provide (with extra work) a shave nearly as smooth as a Double Edge Safety Razor. This is all from my experience, not the opinions of others.
    3) Using Leftric Shave or another electric pre-shave will make this even smoother.
If your goal is the closest shave, the Gillette Fusion 5 should be the winner because it will cut under the skin, but that’s a problem. Cutting under the skin produces ingrown hairs. Don’t get me wrong, the experience of taking a warm shower followed by shaving against the grain with a new Gillette Fusion 5 ProGlide using the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive 2 in 1 Shave Gel is AMAZING. (Assuming you didn’t break out in ingrowns the next day.) But you know, like I do, that those sharp, amazing shave experiences don’t last very long on those blades.
In my experience, the way to get an oil-covered baby butt dish soap lathered slip and slide smooth shave is using a double-edge safety razor. The best part is you don’t get breakouts. It takes time to learn, but I go against the grain nearly everywhere on its face every time I shave and am never disappointed by blade performance. Double edge safety razors are much sharper, profoundly cheaper, and easy to learn.

Tony always fun, entertaining and interesting. I’m going to miss the daily videos l, usually watch them at 5:30am before my workout - you’re part of my daily routine. I don’t know why you get a hard time over the lip shaving. My wife appreciates my shaved lips, she demands smooth shaved lips I’m surprised it wasn’t in our wedding vows. Seriously thought OneBlade = Men’s Consumer Product of he Year. BTW Philips needs to send you a few replacement heads after all this marketing. I actually bought 2 new heads yesterday and there’s been a 20% increase in price here in the UK, don’t know what it’s like with you in the states. Still worth it though. I had lots of doubt about this OneBlade thing, I own lots of such tools and I have spent load of money to get the right tool and ,... and finally I saw your videos and watched most of them. really liked the comparisons and finally I bought one. OneBlade just simply works !! I'm using it for the past month and it just works. no fuss, no issues, no problem. Also one of the things that you never mentioned (as far as I've followed your videos) is that it is faster than normal razor blade or other trimmers! anyways, wanted to thank you for your informative videos. I don't care if you work for Philips or not, your reviews are as close to reality as one can imagine. Well done and continue the good work.

After viewing many of your videos on the Oneblade I decided to pull the trigger and get one and try it out. To be honest I did not expect much. From time to time I'll take a break from my DE razor and use my Andis T edgers to chop whiskers down. The day after doing so is when I bought the Oneblade. Charged it up and gave it a try and was very impressed. It cut the whiskers pretty darn close. I especially like on the trouble spots I have on my face. I have some smile lines on the side of my mouth that present a problem with a DE razor sometimes. The following day I shaved with a DE razor and got the smoothest shave I ever got in my life. All with no cuts or irritation. The Oneblade is a excellent choice to take a break from the razor and to reach those trouble spots. Two passes was all that was needed with the DE razor. I usually have to do at least three. The next time I use it I'm going to try it with shaving cream. So far I only used it dry. No irritation whatsoever or cuts. And most of all it cost less than my least expensive safety razor, the Merkur 34C.

    Love my one blade!
Wish the blades were a little cheaper, though!
$12.50 per blade is a kinda steep, even though these blades last 3-4 months before a change of blade is needed.
With the amount of times I use mine to trim my beard, and neck. the charge lasts nearly a month on a charge!
Doesn’t work all that well to shave my head, though.
The blade on the One Blade is NOT flexible at all, like most multi blade razors, so, the One Blade leaves quite a bit of stubble on my head.
This is a very good trimmer/razor for the face. Not good for head having, even it using shave cream or shave gel.
This is a great product for beard control, trims and beard sculpting and works decent aa a face shaver/razor, as well.
I have already watched a few of your One Blade videos, man!
You do a great job on these!
You SHOULD be working for Phillips/Norelco as a salesman/pitchman/marketing guy!
You really believe in this product and it shows in your videos!

Idk man I’ve been shaving my face with this every single day for the past week and it works pretty damn well. Its not the closest shave like a razor would do. However, my face gets destroyed from using a razor everyday so i was only shaving with a razor every 2-3 days which sucked because i like having a clean shaved face all the time. With this its virtually giving me that clean shave and i dont get any irritation at all whatsoever from using it everyday dry. Pretty dope. Was wondering, how often should you change the blade if your using this daily?

Very Well Said; Thank You For All EFFORT You Put Into Making Videos. .. what it is, is a 'trimmer', it's a trimmer that trims CLOSER and EASIER than any other trimmer there is. It trims almost as close as the closest shave. It is a great product, especially since I see that it lasts so long; it's Durable. Thanks. .... Philips should be compensating you for getting the word out. jmo

I haven’t had issues with Razor bumps, but I would think so because the hair is never cut below the skin with this device. Ingrown hairs are cause (as I’ve read) buy putting too much pressure on the blade and actually clipping the hair so short that it can get stuck in the skin as it grows out.
