Hollow Knight is clearly a game for the patient and the ones that want to explore and discover. However, it's amazing how any type of player can have fun here, and die as many times as possible

Yep I played the Dark Souls trilogy before playing Hollow Knight and it felt like a long while before the game tested me. It sure does ramp up in difficulty though doesn't it!?

As a souls fan myself, I really liked this game. It is not at the same level as ds3 or elden ring but it is a wonderful game and I hope you will enjoy it.
@@timaxscom5501 I appreciate that. For me I just boss rush cause I have an ape brain 😂. But playing for the atmosphere seems fun too especially in some areas.
btw a lot of bosses stagger when you hit them enough, it makes a noise and they stop attacking for a bit letting you heal you missed all of the staggers in both hornets and false knights bossfights
@@twilighttricksterXXI but its not as a person with 3000 hours on hollow knight it is not I mean it has similartirs but no everything about the game is completey diffrent its 2d art style its a platformer just because its high difficulty does not mean its a souls like and just because of a dark dreary atmosphere does not mean the game is a souls like but it is a metroivania
@@inserthandsomefacehere9401 HK is a Souls-like not because of it's gameplay (though It does have a few elements of it *point at boss emphasis and party*) It's called that because of how the game tells it's story and how a lot of details are kinda hidden.

@@gerwaltspodnovigradu5508 I'm a dark souls "veteran too" lol... 35 years old... It's an early boss... And I died many times... I ain't afraid to admit it lol she was a pain in the ass.... You kinda need to memorize the movesets and sounds made then build a kind of muscle memory in reactions or you're fkd in this game... I can't see people breezing through it like it's nothing.
