Thank you for your efforts and some expinations, actually your video lacks some details like how to load papers because printers are different in this matter, in addition how did you connect your laptop with your printer is not clear, further more the first one or two minutes is too fast even when decreasing the video's speed will still not clear. overall thank you very much
1. I think most people know where the paper goes. 2. I did not connect the laptop to the printer. I just installed the software exactly like I showed in the video and everything works through Wi-Fi.
It's not about putting the papers, I meant how to load the papers what buttons to press etc. Second thing regarding the software you installed is not clear because the camera angel is far from the laptop, any how after hours trying I figured out how to run the printer, please watch your video again and check if you can see the software you installed
This is what I found about paper thickness: "Do not use heavier or lighter paper (except for Canon genuine paper), as it could jam in the printer. However, you can use non-Canon genuine art paper that is up to 53 lb / 200 gsm. See Non-Canon genuine specialty paper. Do not use paper thicker than this, as it could jam in the printer."

Yes, I noticed that when printing borderless on normal paper. The colors are washed out. The quick fix was to select borderless photopaper even when printing on normal paper. I've seen discussions on a Canon forum but I don't think Canon actually addressed that.
The photo print quality is very good. The profesional photo printers may have better/more accurate colors, but for the price, I can't say nothing bad about the photos that come out of this printer.
I think you only need a local network (a router) and you don't need an account. When you first setup the printer you may need to have an active internet account, but I'm not completely sure about that.
You can scan the document, save the image on your computer and then make as many copies as you want. Or you push the copy button on the printer multiple times.

Yes, that's the only way for the paper to go into the printer.

Try printing from a computer. Printing from your phone may result in a washed out print for some reason.

Not sure how it compares to Epson. It's recommended to use ink from Canon.

Sure, it's a good printer. Didn't have any issues with it, except the borderless issue I mentioned in the video.

It's a tank printer. You fill it up with ink bottles instead of replacing plastic cartridges
canon pixma g3430 or hp smart 585, which one is better?
Both printers seem to have the same functionality. I never had the HP Smart 585 printer and I can't say something about it.
