Demand that manual overrides for all power windows and doors be required by law...
Absolutely.
I just want to say thank you for this video!!! I’ve been trying for hours and watching non stop videos since my window stopped working last night it’s finally up until I get my new motor in two days
Hell yeah! Good deal bubba. Works with ease. Perfect detail to description.
Felipe, even though it did not work as you were expecting, your effort and all what you showed to us is enough for us not to feel intimidated with it to try that ourselves. That is what is important. I do appreciate your video. I will also try to lubricate both grub sides to see and check the ends. The motor of mine does not work in mine and i refuse to purchase a third motor.
Thanks a million Bro I'd give you a thousand likes for this video very helpful mine was stuck for 2days after seeing this I sorted it out manually now I can sleep in peace
Thanks for the video. Now I know how to manually roll up stuck window in car..
Pretty cool video man, first video I've seen what this technique. All the rest of them to show you to use a paperclip to manually power the window but it doesn't do you any good if the motor doesn't even work. Lol
Thanks man
Exactly whay i was looking for. A actually manuak way to make the regulator go up. Thanks. You helped more than all those other videos combine. Straight to the point. Thankd again.
Thank you so much super easy and u explained perfectly without all that putting on a show
This is why I prefer crank windows
Wow! Thanks so much. This is the answer I've been searching for.
Need help? Turn the ignition to the first position so the car is on but not the engine.. Hold the switch to make the window go up, then open the car door, still holding the switch, then close the door, still holding the switch .. Repeat this as many times as necessary.. It took me about 3 open/closes of the door then my window finally went up.. Still not working? Try short bursts on the switch instead of holding it down.. Hope this helps someone else
man I'm having this problem and you just saved me thank you
The real youtube channel!😆💯 Thanks Man!
Thank you for the video
i noticed my passenger window was stuck so i was pulling it up while holding down the window up button until i heard a loud crack like something breaking so i stopped messing with it and taped up the gap only to find out that the child safety button on my car was on causing all of the windows to stop functioning so i turned the safety off and the passenger window went up when i pushed the button.. moral of the story, check your child safety settings first before trying to use brute force to almost break your window like i almost did.. kinda nervous some plastic piece snapped down there
Finally got it up, I believe it is the regulator. Tha nas for your help

I LIKE THIS.its the easiest i have seen
Worked!! Thanks!
Mine has a gear ⚙️ setup. I had to take the motor apart and I stuck the drive shaft back in the actuator then turned it by hand. Couldn’t get a wrench or drill in there but it worked.
Excuse me mines has a crank also in it how did you take the motor apart if you don't mind me asking
@@blessed4344 did you figure it out? I have a '04 Surburban and my passenger side got stuck down and wouldn't go up. I hadn't seen this video. I took the door apart hoping it would be something that I could see blocking the window since it went down so easy when I hit the button, but I ended up just taking it to a shop.
If this ever happens again, I'll know what to do & avoid a $350 bill to replace the regulator.
You just saved my day/week! Thank you so much!
I wish the Kia Sorento (2013) used a similar squared 3/8" drive socket, that's genius of Nissan. In a pinch you can at least easily roll it back up or down tell you get a new motor. The Kia Sorento has a splined round shaft connection.. I know you were using a camera, but I suspect if you lift up on the glass while ratchetting it would go up more easily. Also, I think you were right, the guides were probably dirty and needed to be cleaned and re-greased. The motor looked like it was working perfectly.
My old 98' Honda Accord used a scissor lift mechanism where you have to get the glass to a certain level, to remove the glass screws through access holes, then hold up the glass with tape, and then wind down the scissor lift, and pull out the scissor lift that's almost too large for the opening.. I honestly don't know how I would have replaced the motor scissor lift assembly if it was stuck up.. the motor was at the bottom of the door and hard to reach.. This center motor arrangement with winding wires around a shaft is a better solution, only the motor need to be replaced. Thanks for the video.
Muchacho. Gracias por existir.
Thanks for the information! Been a big help! Have a Blessed day! 😊❤️🙏🏻📖🙌
So I could have done this the entire time instead of taping my window shut
@@freddiestranger9783 there’s no such thing

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God
This is what I was thinking. It seems safer than taping it. Like if I'm never going to roll down that window, then I may as well just crank it up to the top and then it's stuck there. Thanks for the info!
Thank you bro you saved me big time
Thanks man! I need to do this toy truck!
Thank You a Million time's 😊
Goat. Thank you.

Awesomeness³
So it can be done.Unfortunately my Seat Cordoba does not have that square hole on which to turn the regulator, the Seat has a 'toothed circle hole' so I will have to make a bespoke wooden piece to insert into hole to turn.
Thank you bro
I'm not sure it it's going to work on my cat but thanks for the idea. I'll respond again if it does.

I need to do this on my 97 Nissan 200SX. The power window motor crapped out on me 2 days ago
thank you. i HATE doing this. what an annoying project. fuck this window. thanks for the help. ugh!!!!
Pain in the ass project but if I had done this, I could have saved $350 taking my truck to a garage for a new regulator.
WOW , I KNOW AN EASY WAY TOO
WHEN U OPEN MOTOR HEAD IT SLIDES OUT & U CAN EASILY PULL WINDOW UP OR DOWN
on the 2003 Camry, you need to buy a torq socket piece to get those 3 bolts off. ANd, it doesn't seem to have the same parts, so can't get the window up that way. 🤥
How do you manually roll up a window in a Chevy Malibu 2008 I was gonna paint it I took the doors off already I would have to hook back up the electrical system to roll the windows up and raise up the trunk which I should take the trunk off before I paint it and I need to take to open the trunk to remove the lights too.
Woulda done this if the window wasn’t all the way down😂😂
TY, ILY.
It's all the way down, but the motor works. I believe it's off track

Vz commodore passenger window wont go up how can I put it up
I have an 02 accord, the motor works but the window is I think off track. It's in the down position. Any solution to this?
Before taking the panel off , try to grab on to the top of the glass and pull up as you press the up position on the switch. Sometimes this works if the tracks aren’t lubricated. If not , you’d have to take off the door panel and check to see if there’s any loose bolts that hold the regulator to the glass. Finally ,try spraying some wd 40 silicone on the tracks. If not , you’d had to replace the regulator only if the motor works.

My window is all the way down is it still good to do it
Damn I have a magnum worried this won't work doorpannels off but idk where the regulators at
Man, I wish I had seen this before I took my door panel apart and still couldn't get the window to go up.
If I had, I would have put the window locks on the passenger doors,( because the window went down with ease, but not back up) & I could've avoided a $350 regulator replacement bill.
Oh well, u live & u learn.
Help me with my 2013 charger thanks !
my regulator is screwed to a metal panel on the door that cant be removed :( its in the way so wont be able to dial the window up even if i got the motor off
Really? How will you replace regulator if it went bad? What year make and model?
i can definitely slide it out and replacd it if need be but i dont really see a way where i can have the regulator connected and wind it up using a wrench unless theres enough space in there for me to squeeze my hand in and crank it up ... but i have a 2002 acura tl@@TheMaxi748
Hey i have a 2012 g37 do you think i could roll the window up like this?
Most likely
❤❤❤
The wire to mines was jamed so I just cut it with wire snippers and pushed it up. Quick fix until Thursday, then I'll have to replace the whole assembly.
