- I decided to take a trip back down to Portland, OR, located just 3 hours driving distance from Seattle. This is a walking tour of Old Town and the Saturday Market in Portland. This is my first return to the Saturday Market since the reopened in April 2021. The Saturday Market in Portland is the longest standing open air arts and crafts market of its kind in America.

There's no affiliation between the Skidmore and Saturday market. The reason I know that is I work with the Saturday Market and the Saturday Market is open ONLY on Saturday's right now

Yeah I pho’d up. So used ti saying Seattle coz that’s where I’m from.
I have heard some areas of Portland have a lot of protesters and violence,,with damage worse than Seattle. That is a beautiful and peaceful area and a great video to watch 😀
Why are so many people walking around with masks on now? Is it mandatory to wear them still in Portland? The rest of the country has stopped
Wont be going back!! Went to Saturday market last weekend and it smelt like poop and sewage at every homeless tent plus waaay to many homeless tents couldn't even walk on the sidewalk because tents and homeless heroin junkies talking to themselves I felt very unsafe and the smell oh the smell!!
The water santiation plant is by the bridge, that's what you were smelling, lol.
@@MorganMcJiggleson nope everytime you walked by a tent you could smell poop buckets I saw a couple of buckets with poop stored outside their tents also. Go look for yourself but be careful of drive bys, 3 people were shot today at a restaurant in the pearl district Like I said I hope we can save Portland someday, but not when the bums have more rights then us taxpayers
@@lyndavincent6659 bro, I will be the first to admit there are a lot of homeless people right now and I wish the city would do something about it, but you're also full of shit. I was just at the market and saw none of what you're describing.
