My understanding is that it’s mostly for scraps and bits of food, and that there are some things that definitely should not go in there. If you do, I’ll post it in the diy fb groups I’m in.
Hey Jim, great to see ya. I like to take a mixture of water and baking soda... I freeze that. I then send it down the disposal, sharpening the blades and fixing the odor a bit. lemons do a better job with the odor, at least temporarily. Maybe do it every two weeks to keep it really fresh.

Hi Jim, what's that you have under your sink protecting the wood cabinet flooring? I'm replacing my cabinet's floor from water damage caused by dripping and could use something to protect it. All the best!
Yes sir I like your idea however you might try throwing a handful of ice in there once a month you may be surprised with the smell outcome I have a good day

I only have problems with cans and plastic bottles other than that my garbage disposal works great for garbage 🗑 🙃

NEVER put carrot peeling in the disposer. We clogged it up and had to call a plumber to unclog it. Brand new home mistake.
