I recently had a bathroom sink that started to emit a nasty sewer odor. I went to the hardware store to purchase a new P trap and saw some odor sticks designed for that exact problem. I was skeptical, but decided to give them a try to see if I could save myself a little time and trouble. I was amazed by the results! One odor stick took less than a day to get rid of the smell. There has been no trace of that horrendous odor ever since. P. S. This is not meant to be a negative response to your video. You made a great explanation and it is the next logical step to take if the quick fix method (odor sticks) does not work.
I have old sink old drain n faucets in my bathroom sink. No smells. Now I have two new faucet n drain type and it smells awful. I have to use vinegar n baking soda bimonthly . Why?? HELP.
Yes for bathroom sinks. Kitchens can be a little different especially if you have a garbage disposal on one sink and p-trap on the other. Better to try and duplicate pieces to what you have existing. Thx for watching!

Wrong slope, or the p trap needs water level is siphoning due to it being higher than the air vent.
Good info!
Are those "P traps" a one size fits all for the house kitchen and bathroom sinks? 🤔 🤷♂️
