The chemistry of the two leads and their realistic world building, the small community closeness and eccentricities makes the movie the movie equivalent of comfort food. Warming and welcoming. Always a personal favorite.
I know right very few movies can make even the background characters interesting
I like almost all the interactions between Val and Earl. One of my favorite scenes is when Rhonda tries to explain to Val and Earl that there are 3 more graboids, and she's showing them her evidence for her claim, but Val and Earl know they would have no idea what she's showing them so Earl says, "Yeah, yeah, we'll take your word for it." LOL
The machine your talking about that makes alot of noise is for polishing brass bullet casings for reloading to be shot again.
J MAC ya beat me 2 it
Me too I was not sure of its exact function but I had an idea the lack of commen sence!
British guys, they don't have many guns on the islands.
It's called a tumbler.
I LOOOOOVE Tremors! Had it on VHS, recorded from TV, when I was a kid (about 25 years ago now). Watched it weekly, while jumping around the living room with my friends, NOT touching the floor. Lot's of playing in the garden, not touching the ground. Totally awesome masterpiece and part of my youth! Thanks for the review :-)
Tremors 1, 2 & 3 are perfect Beer evening movies.
Fun fact that not only we're getting tremors 6 but apparently we're getting another tremors TV show and kevin bacon will be returning.
Kevin Bacon? Whoa
Bloody Jack what a time to be alive :-)
Cancelled
Due to Corona virus
He's too busy selling us phone data 😅
The thing that gets mentioned at about the 26:25 mark is a device used to clean brass cartridges. If I had to guess, they'd been shooting recently, and intended to reload the cartridges later. Given the circumstances, not a bad plan, but unfortunate in its consequences.
This for me was one of those movies you start watching expecting it to be bad... And ended up being one of my favorites...such a Classic!
I think this film has held up really well over time.
the machine she uses is a brass tumblr its used to clean bullet casings to make them easier to reload
This movie scared the piss outta me when I was a kid and even then I was an avid horror movie fan. PS I have a huge crush on Gary-- it's the eyes or the smile and his quiet intellect.
I love that last clip. "Underground god-damned monsters!"
A sentiment carried on in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th film.
"I did everything right, and still lost."
My father had that machine. It cleans the shells so you can refill them. They make their own ammo. Used to do that, too. ;)
FUCK YES! I love Thursdays. Congrats on 9K guys!

was so epically over the top
that it's a classic example

I recommend to everyone to watch it for
Fred Ward's
performance
Another one of those great Friday nights when my dad would come home from a film from Blockbuster's :)
Watched Tremors first in the early 2000s on TV when I was not even ten years old, to this day, I still remember the scene of the worm bursting into Burt’s rec room and the death of the final boss.
Hey guys, to answer your question on what Burt and Heather were using that attracted the worm to them was what is called a brass tumbler, and it's used to clean the casings of bullets so that you can reload the rounds
Realistically Burt and Heather would be nearly deaf from firing all those rounds in such a small, enclosed space. But I love the film.
That slingshot description...priceless
Also love Kevin Bacon in "A Few Good Men", "Hollow Man", and he's hilarious in "Beauty Shop". Same goes for Fred Ward in "Tremors 2" and "Enough".
Great review once again , this is the rare movie that someone could watch countless times and never get bored of it , everything about is perfection .
Love the sequel also, i didn;t think they could capture that magic again , especially without Bacon , but it's just as fun and hilarious
the machine is called a rumbler, the sand along with the vibrations take out and sharp edges and smooth the bullets, i used to use something similar in my factory days
You guys have the best commentary, love these reviews!
I loved Reba McIntyre as burts wife. Always thought she was hot
It's hard to believe you guys hadn't done Tremors already! Thanks for a great watch
I'm really enjoying this channel. You just earned yourself a sub. Just one thing, it's the middle of the New Mexico desert, it's hot, but it's certainly not humid.
If there was ever a movie to sum up what I spent most of my childhood doing, it was Tremors. Way before it was in theaters, the trailer was on another VHS tape I rented. It was very vague, but just the scene of them running with the floorboards flying up behind them had me sold and at Blockbuster day 1.
I forgot how awesome this movie was until i watched your review. Gonna make sure i watch it again. It's been too long.
Another great video, love your work guys, 👊🏼
Love you guys reviews!!!! Much love from the states!!! 😎😎😎😊😊
And under-rated film, about under-ground worms, directed by Ron Under-wood.
It's 3:12 a.m. here gotta get up and go to work but I'm gonna watch this video. You guys deserve more subs. Great job guys as always. So that machine they put bullets into is to clean spent shell casings so they can be reloaded.
Dudes, the creatures aren't called "tremors". A tremor is a small earthquake. The scientist chick is studying tremors caused by the creatures. The creatures are called "Graboids". Graboids cause tremors / small earthquakes. The animals themselves aren't called "tremors".
Before the sequels, I always called the monsters "tremors".
Another great, fantastic film with Kevin Bacon: (1996) "Sleepers"--- also starred Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Brad Pitt, Minnie Driver, Billy Crudup, and Jason Patric.
the machine mentioned at 26:00 is called a tumbler and they are using it to clean used cartridges.
Great job with the review! Tremors is one of those fun creature feature horror films of 80's which i really wish would be made today, but unfortunately, it ain't like it used to be. That's why i always like to re-watch films like these if i want to sit down and just enjoy a good one from the past.
The first film was released in 1990, and has five sequels and one prequel
I've been waiting for this review, thank you!
Are you going to do the whole series?
I'd rather see them do THAT for Halloween than the Resident Evil series.
They already did the whole Halloween series. I'm surprised they haven't done Friday the 13th series yet.
I didn't mean the Halloween movies, I meant every halloween they review a bunch of horror movies and they said that they we're maybe going to do the whole Resident Evil series.
I've been a long time fan for years and I never knew the swearing was dubbed, I will never unhear it
I love how you guys incorporated the rock paper scissors joke from the movie in your review😂
Love Tremors! I think I saw the same screening as Ian when I was a kid. It was the subject of intense discussion in school the next day. Awesome movie!😜
Tremors is a blend of monster movies, adventure, and comedy, and it WORKS. Usually anything with a monster or horror movie mixed with comedy is not very good. Everything is great in Tremors. I really like Tremors 1 and 2, but then after that I kinda started to lose interest after starting 3. My favorite characters are Earl and Burt. But Val is good, too! One of my favorite lines from Earl, and it is so random, but it just cracked me up...is when the graboid has Val, Earl, and Rhonda trapped on the rock, and Earl goes, "That means we're stuck. That pisses me off!" LOL! I don't know why, but I just found that really funny.
Glad to see my patreon helped bring this review to life!
I totally agree with Ian with his ending statement where this should be on many peopls greatest movies ever. I've also never met someone who hates this movie, and it stands the test of time.
Great review guys
A great movie from my childhood! Awesome review, guys!
One of my all time favorite movies. Great review guys.
35:36 ah, the hidden trapdoor is so visible when Kevin Bacon runs over it, when they would have set him just a meter back or run to the left this could have been avoided. Shame, since the graboids still look fantastic.
Also "Bacon goes with everything." Yes, to both meanings of the sentence. :D
damn I love Tremors and Tremors 2 is one of the best sequels ever in my opinion, it's very underated
My favourite part of this movie is when Reba shoots a flare and duo wields revolvers at a graboid 😂
I always just figured that since the worm never emerged, and just used it's tongues to grap the old guy, unlike other victims he was actually pulled through the dirt and his head just popped off from the pressure
Kevin Bacon has a surreal screen presence.
The Thing that she turns on is a brass tumbler. You use it before you reload the bullets if your re using the brass cases.
Please please please review the rest of them!
When will we get a review for death machine and Utopia?
YES!!! I've been waiting for this!! 👍👍
Guys, please do "30 Days of Night" or "Silver Bullet" sometime! :D
They're called Graboids, not Tremors. Tremors are what they cause, not what they're called. Other than that, great review.
I thought it was “grab bois”, like the chomp chomp boi from Jaws and the hug boi from Anaconda.
But we call chomp boi “the Jaws”, so calling the grab bois “Tremors” ain’t that wrong.
They do start calling them Graboids just about over the half way point of the review
Hi guys,
I actually saw temors at the cinema when it came out and it was a joy to see on the big screen. Thought it was going to be a poor movie when i first went in but it turned out to be a b movie classic. Cheesy funny scary and awesome. What more can you say. Great review :0)
Andy H
Same here that's a pet peeve I get whenever I watch anyone review tremors they always call the creatures tremors its like how people pronounce star trek wrong saying star TRACK
watched this again....such a good film. "way to go duuuuude" still the most cringy moment in the movie, but proud to be friends with Finn the actress in the film, she is still fit and beautiful as always!
Great review as always boys! The machine Reba McEntire turns on is called a tumbler and it cleans used bullet cartridges for reloading shells :)
Keep up the good work can't wait for gaming Friday.
Same request as always boys,
- America Psycho
I'd watch Jaws first, then Tremors, then finish it off with Jurassic Park.
Great review guys! :D
i freaking love watching you guys talk shop about how a Graboid kills somebody ha ha, seriously Graboid theory is fun to watch!
Another great movie review! Keep up the great material. Have you thought of reviewing "V the mini series - the original 80's series. You guys must have watched it back in the day?! Cheers
Once again I love the honesty and your enthusiasm for reviewing good movies. You 2 should go on youtube. LOL. Thanks guys.
The "mixing machine" at bert and heathers is a cleaning device for spent casings of bullets
"You will have long blonde hair, big green eyes, world class breasts, an ass that wont quit and legs that go alllll the way up!" Frickin love that movie it's a classic in my opinion! Developed a huge crush on Kevin Bacon because of it
I watched this that many times on vhs growing up that the tape got so bad and a couple little bits were so fuzzy you couldn’t really see.
One of my favorite childhood movies! Watched it on tv all the time!
I quite like Kevin Bacon in Flatliners too
Classic! Great review.
I dig your enthusiasm. You guys sound like true fans of these movies.
I really like Hollow Man, underrated I think
I saw this at the theater in 1990 and loved it.
13:32 they are vibrating and displacing the ground around them that way. Literally like worms, but faster.
Not gonna lie...I like Tremors 4.
Now in my opinion, I liked the idea of wild wast gunslingers, outlaws taking on Graboids and it’s awesome
I've always liked 2 and 4 interchangeably after 1. 3 is OK.
I watched this film again today and had so much fun. The balance is amazing and the characters are all so engaging.
Baloni and beans! It's your turn!
the big lebowski and now tremors? awesome! love the channel, i feel like i know you guys by now. I'd love to see you do something like the Assassination of Jesse James (by the coward robert ford) and you guys personally need to watch a recent film called Brimstone with Guy Pierce and Dakota Fanning(also has kit harrington, jon snow from game of thrones)
Seen this when I was a little kid. Got me thinking a lot at the time :).
This was a very solid old school monster flick. 7.5/10
20:01 what I don't like about sequels is that Burt and Heather got divorced. They are my favorite couple in cinema alongside Addamses (TV version with John Astin & Carolyn Jones).
Owwww!!! I love tremors, i watch thE first when i was a little kid and its like jaws for me jaja ! Are U gonna review the 4movies :P
Thanks for the review! Good luck from Spain boys !!
I remember recording this on vhs when it was on BBC 1 think around 92-93, not thinking it would add up to much but what a film. It just goes to prove if you have a good script with characters you can route for you will have a film you can watch again and again. Think of Jaws the characters in the film make that movie, the interactions and such, Aliens as well
Is it just me or are the unfinished animatronics creepier than the actual finished product? Lol it's like seeing the behind the scenes of goro in the mortal kombat film for the first time
Remo Williams is one of the greatest franchises that never was
I've been watching this since a kid and still pop it on.
Very visually creative movie. Memorable
Watchability factor of 10/10..... No doubt, I'd watch it twice in succession, no bother at all😂👊
Walter Chang, not Victor
How about Murder in the first and Sleepers? Great films, with a great Kevin Bacon.
Oh tremors, what a classic!
Kevin changed his last name to bacon because he thought it would bring in more money.
Guys, could you review Stakeland? Awesome vampire apocalypse
its call a brass tumbler its for cleaning brass to reuse
Love this movie can watch it any time its on....AZ gun nuts represent!
A childhood favorite of mine.
First time I saw this was on a Saturday night on BBC1 about 8pm, it was followed by Howard the Duck which is another awesome movie.
New fan catching up. Bacon does go with everything haw. Want some Fred Ward? Watch Miami Blues. He rocks. (love tremors) \/
“Grab bois”. lmao
love the metal gear solid shirt
