This was a particularly interesting episode. You were respectful and humble (as you always are) and it looks like your talk was really appreciated - the coin they gave you is an amazing momento. I hope you realize the value you obviously added!
Kenneth we have a number groups that work with veterans here in the US. There is a UA-camr called the Graceful Renegade in Bend Oregon US that has done a documentary about a group of veterans that rode North to the Arctic. They discussed in the video the problem of Veterans taking there own lives. Also there is a Veterans group that shows up at the Giant Loop Ride every year to support vets. That ride is held at the first of June at Crane Hot Springs just southeast of Burns Oregon. I wish I could remember the name of the groups or find info about them for you. Thanks for the very good interview about this problem.
The man is right . Great video thank you very well done. I'm a vet here in the states we have very large American Legion Riders group's . When you get here you be welcome as well .
In the UK we have vets sleeping rough on the street, which is appalling, especially in the current climate. There is very little support which is why I always support when I can. Several of my friends served and if they don't organise amongst themselves they are just forgotten. Really good interview. Ride safe 👍
We have several veteren bike clubs here in the uk. Every October on the 1st Saturday we have a meet at the memorial arboretum and many vet clubs from around Europe come. RTTW Ride To The Wall.
