I'm a grandma now but when I was a kid I use to make glitter out of broken Christmas tree ornaments I didn't have a coffee grinder so I used news papers a a hammer 😁 that worked well for me 😊limited to the colors though 😊

Great video. Thanks so much for showing us how to do this. I loved the homely feel to your workspace and the sounds in the background make it real. We aren't all rich enough to have a dedicated studio.
Going to save me a lot of money.💜💛💚

Great idea! A coffee grinder is what I need! Thank you very much. I’ve been searching for a way to grind glass. This is so perfect! Thank you for sharing with us! 😃

Thats a really great idea to make your own glass glitter. Thank you for showing how you made it. I will now be on the hunt for a coffee grinder when I go junking. I have seen them before but have never thought of getting one for this purpose. TFS. ana

The problem that I see here using the coffee grinder is that you can only make a very small amount of glitter. It would take as long to make enough glitter as it would to do the entire project if you were making a large project like covering cones which make a small Xmas tree with glitter. I hope I made myself clear here. Sorry if I didn't.

@@jesseb.8171 No I get what your saying, is there a larger alternative to the coffee grinder I wonder?? 🤔🤔

I don't know, I have yet to try that. I suppose you could do it with thin glass.

I agree. Jumping from one place to another, very disorganized. Only watched a minute or so before I got dizzy.

In my opinion your video makes more interesting when you keep things organized so we can concentrate on the procedure more interestingly

Your camera is too close and you're very unorganised. Sorry but you need to prep a bit more .

For the love of god figure out what you’re doing first, and especially what you want to say first so you aren’t stuttering and wasting time by trying to think of the words you’re wanting to use. So much wasted time waiting for you to get out what you’re trying to say.

Oh, GET A LIFE, Seraphine! She isn't trying to put on a full-length movie! Her instructions are perfectly understandable.
