When there was finally just one chicken, who yes, was invited into my house and also was my father's last pet who would sit outside with him for hours, it was a different level of contact and friendship. Most of my chickens don't like being held, but the ones that do LOVE it. They just nestle down in my arms. They are such smart, sweet, and funny animals. ♥♥
They don't just do it at dawn. They'll rip one out any time they feel like it, and that is pretty often. We used to have a rooster who lived in the yard next door and he would crow almost continuously all day.
They crow to determine territory and warn others around that they are there. Going back to wild chickens, this is what roosters did to warn predators and other wild animals of their presence. Its like what many other animals do in the wild when they live in a family orientated situation. They crow mainly in the mornings because this is when all the hens get up off their perches and roosting branches and go to ground and search for food and become active and the roosters warn others that they are there or for others to stay away. Kind of like when you walk in the forest and you want to make noises so bears arent startled and attack by surprise. Or when you hear birds sing in the morning or during the day. A birds life like many other wildlife is constantly on high alert.
There is so much we don’t know about animals. There is so much smarter and emotional than we think. Thank you for giving him a good home. He’s such a sweetheart.🐓🐓🐓❤❤❤

Most of my chickens don't like being held, but the ones that do LOVE it. They just nestle down in my arms. They are such smart, sweet, and funny animals. ♥♥
The love from his humans has made him the healthiest and most hansome rooster in the world
I love how he crows when the daughter comes home. It’s like he’s saying that the sun is up when she’s around. 🥺
They don't just do it at dawn. They'll rip one out any time they feel like it, and that is pretty often. We used to have a rooster who lived in the yard next door and he would crow almost continuously all day.
I like this sentiment. 😊
Thank you for helping hes adorable. I know the love we have for our pets. The world needs more people like you.
**THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE MOST HEARTFELT AND LOVING VIDEOS I HAVE EVER SEEN!! BEAUTIFUL, PRECIOUS CHICKEN!! I LOVE YOU!!**
There is so much we don’t know about animals. There is so much smarter and emotional than we think. Thank you for giving him a good home. He’s such a sweetheart.🐓🐓🐓❤❤❤
He is just to precious 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love roosters ❤️ We have 9 at our rescue because they are discarded so often. Recently studies have shown that they have the cognition of 4 year old humans. They are so awesome and loving and fun to be friends with 🥰
After so many years I still miss my chicken who used to follow me everywhere I go.
I know how you feel. I miss mine too. I can’t believe it’s been a year already since he passed.
Same. Scooter was a black English Bantam.
@@Sanity_Faire mine was a Silkie rooster who was so kind!
@@Animalsarefamily-p2n oh they are cute!
Mine was just a regular old white Tyson chicken that fell off one of the trucks as it went past my house. She was awesome, and I miss her terribly to this day.
Beautiful story. Beautiful rooster. ❤ May all sentient beings be free from suffering.
Agreed.
If you say " may all sentient beings be free from suffering " people will agree with you....but if you ask people to take responsibility and make some changes by not buying factory farmed meat, no one will listen.
@@bambismomkelly7423 I wish people would keep ALL animals off their plates. Even those not from factory farmed floors.
@@ranakhatibthomas4031 I agree. I don't eat meat....but asking people not to buy factory farmed meat is an important first step, and most people won't even consider that.
@@bambismomkelly7423 Yes. I understand.
2:09 Happy birthday, Koji!
Koji: *dinosaur noises*
😂😂😂🎉
Legit my first thought
I mean, chickens are the closest living relative to the T Rex. King of the birds lol
I always tell people that roosters make terrific pets. I have had more than five naturally tame roosters. They just trusted me. ❤
Koji is simply adorable 🧡 Thank you so much for rescuing him 🙏
So many amazing memories of me being at my grandpas growing up, always had a few chickens and the rooster Ralph. Never forgot that sweet feisty baby. He would fly at me when I got Millie's eggs. Sweet when he wanted to be and was my grandpa's heart. Then Popcorn, a white rooster when a baby would dance when you tapped on the table. Nothing could replace or buy the feelings of having those memories with my best friend and guide my grandpa Charles. Love this thank you for reminding me of such pure times ❤ Long Live the Roosters🐓
So much appreciated , the love for birds and animals. World that moving faster, people didn’t have time for themselves. But people like you make time to enjoy God’s creation. Be Blessed.
I’ve never met this little dude, but his little antics and noises bring me great joy 😂
Clearly a great household friend to have!
So very sweet!!! Thank you-all for sharing the love❣️
You are so absolutely right on!!!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful and beautiful rooster! Love this!!!
Absolutely wonderful video ! God bless you all. 😅
He is just adorable ❤❤
This is the cutest thing, he's absolutely adorable! Thanks to you for givig him such a sweet life❤
That has to be the silliest, happiest, content and most engaged bird I've EVER seen! I know chickens are pretty smart. Well, smarter than a pea fowl, anyway. And, I've seen them trained to do different activities or tricks, if you will. This little guy isn't just responding to a set of signals, but actively participating in these games of hide and seek, staying focused on finding his "bestie" without getting sidetracked. Such a cuddler, too!
😭🤣🤨2:09 Mom: "Happy birthday, Koji!" Koji: *utters the craziest quiet pterodactyl sound to ever come out of a rooster* 3:07-3:09 The hidden jacket rooster clip made me smile too!
I really love how expressive Koji is & his cute little interactions with his people! Adorable footage & story!
That was the devil😂😂
That was actually a very common rooster sound...
God that was a beautiful, heartwarming story. God bless you all! ❤
I love what you said about the way people treat chicken I couldn’t have said it better myself. Thank you for putting up that message so people may be will start being kinder to animals.
He's quite handsome. And I love his story. He has a happy life now❤
Very Handsome and loved Rooster❤😊....Viva la Koji!
What a beautiful and important story. I’m so glad I learned more about chickens, their intelligence, and bonds… we have been eating more vegan but every piece of information likes this helps us become even more motivated and committed. Thank you!!!!
It's been 15 years for us and it's the best thing we ever did for our physical and spiritual health. Keep going!
@@mynameismarlysThank you for the encouragement!!! 15 years is awesome!
Good on you for being open & willing to change! I’ve been vegan for 29 years, & it was the best decision I’ve ever made, hands down. I’m 50, but I still feel like I’m 30. I wish you a long, healthy life, too! 🌱
@@cracksofdawnit’s been a long time coming but what we are accomplishing feels great!!! It’s does our hearts minds and bodies good. Thank you for leading by example and for sharing encouragement!!
❤ Thank you for representing chickens and for taking such wonderful care of this beautiful bird!
I'm so glad to be vegan because it has opened up my heart and allowed me to see how lovely these creatures are.
Chickens are so great, they can be so cuddly and sweet
Yeah real sweet depends on the style it’s made though 🍽️
Thank you for so much love. Beautiful true story.❤
My goodness what a little sweetie pie cutie! I love chickens so much!
Roosters are so sweet 🥰 he sees them as his hens, that’s why he shares food and hates to have them out of his sight!
What a sweet story. Thank you for loving him and sharing his story with us. Your daughter is one awesome young lady!!
That's the sweetest thing ever!❤
Thankyou ❤️
1:39. The happy crow and the little run! 😭 Ohh my heart! What a happy little gentleman!
God Bless you, your daughter, and baby boy🐓
Chickens Roosters Cows Donkeys Buffaloes Pigs - every animal bird is deserving of kindness & compassionate treatment
Which is why humans need to stop exploiting and killing them, especially for food.
@@MindVersusMiseryFor food it’s ok
@@lathafalls7675 Why? Suffering is suffering, and humans have no requirement for eating animals.
@MindVersusMisery Exactly. And the way that animals are raised for food is very, very cruel.
every animal bird
That is a really loving household. Great mom. Great daughter. I need to be more like them 😭
Such a good story. Thank you for sharing. That is so amazing how he formed good bonding to you guys.. love this story ❤❤
I love everything about this story…. Really made me think about “all creatures great & small”….🥰….deserving of love….
that is adorable. and what a great kid taking the time and putting in the effort to help an animal most people wouldnt think twice about.
OHMYGOD!! This is sooooo sweet!! That's one lucky rooster what a wonderful family God bless all of them🙏
He is a very handsome, sweet rooster. Very bonded to your daughter. It's heartwarming to watch. I had a pet hen that was my bestie when I was very young. She followed me everywhere, climbed in my lap for cuddles, never left my side when I was home. Great little hen just like your rooster. Enjoy Koji and his rooster antics. They make great pets!!
I grew up with chickens. That is a very talkative rooster!
How cute❤❤❤,,that made my day..thank you!!!!
I love his diaper! Thank you for taking care of him. God Bless😇
I absolutely ADORE how this chicken has their own sets of pajama shorts 😂 so cute!
This is soooo sweet. It appears that most human being underestimate all animals. They are ALL intelligent. Just because they don't speak your language, doesn't mean they are not intelligent. We must learn and educate ourselves! 💜
What a great rescue love story. this rooster is so loved and has a wonderful loving life now. What a wonderful kind family
beautiful rooster!! thank you for giving him a loving forever home.
