The elf powder foundation is awesome! It reminds me of the Mac powder foundation I used back in the day. I have dry/combo skin too so if I like a powder foundation it's bomb!
I have combination skin and if you use a grippy primer or oil or heavy moisturizer it covers better and doesn’t look cakey or dry or cling to dry patches
It's okay to have flaws in your skin that peak through a little, nobody has perfect skin. As we age our skin becomes less and less perfect. You're beautiful even with some flaws coming through 😍

The reason I like UA-cam better, not UA-cam shorts but regular UA-cam was because most times when they did a review it didn't skip, not like these short videos. Made people, not all people but a lot of than now relatively honest or you can see the product

I love this powder I use it daily! It has become my new favorite over Mac Studio fix powder foundation! Ugh so much cheaper too! I pair it with a good primer that is hydrating and I always have my skincare on point! Then finish it off with a dewy/ hydrating or even matte but hydrating setting spray and it is chefs kiss! Funny enough the lash gate mascara is also my daily mascara 😂🤣😂 can’t help it they are actually good products lol

In my opinion the mascara is a great buy. It does give you length and some volume. I love L’Oréal mascaras in general and I think they’re worth every penny. I prefer them over high end ones. And I did not buy it based off of Mikaylas recommendation. It’s a great mascara in my opinion.
I loved their old powder foundation,still using it as pressed powder. It might be because I have combo to oily skin so it doesn't dry my skin out but I still need yo put a good moisturizer on underneath.
I have rosacea, sometimes around my nose cracks & above my lip flakes. Ever since I started using olive oil mixed with moisturizer, then primer, then Elf Halo Glow, all I have to do is touch up with concealer, powder & I'm good. Even when it starts wearing off it just looks glowy!
I will say I do like this product but it looks great after like an hour. If you need it to look perfect right away that something like the Charlotte tilbery spray works great

I have a super dry skin and I love the IT cosmetics powder foundation illumination. I am also 43. I don’t have the worst wrinkles but I definitely have them. I like to put on a pore filling primer like on my cheeks, in between my eyebrows, and a little bit under my eyes. Then I use a hydrating primer, and then I use a huge powder brush and blend the powder over my face. Obviously I start with my moisturizer, but forgot to mention. It’s not super caked on full coverage but I like the coverage and it balances my skin tone etc. Without looking super cakey and dry. I also use setting spray and after I let it dry for 30ish seconds with mini handheld fan, I use a dry beauty blender to kind of melted into the skin if that makes sense. I’m super gentle with it, barely tapping. Not really bouncing like I would a liquid foundation. Just make sure it’s the illumination powder foundation. Because the other powder foundation they have is super matte. Sorry for the super long response, just wanted to be detailed so hopefully it makes sense.

Definitely look to see if you can find products with Arnica Gel that is a good anti-inflammatory. I also recommend that you keep a journal of the foods that you eat and the products that you use so you can keep up with what may be aggravating your flares
I love IT cosmetics celebration foundation the plain version not the illumination or any of these other variations just the regular celebration foundation. I find that when I’m filming for UA-cam it helps to make my skin look flawless. If I’m going out with my friends I look amazing. I really like it. I recommend that if you’re looking for a good powder foundation but make sure to put on a nice amount of moisturizer before hand
I bought this today. I had realistic expectations. It's affordable, and it does its job. Coverage is buildable but a tiny bit did have a dramatic effect. It does look like skin. I didn't even moisturise and it didn't look dry or powdery. It looked good and did a good job. I'll defo buy it again.
I used this under my eyes to set my concealer with a damp sponge and was like whoa! I pull that out when I want full on glam and it’s really lightweight
I think a good primer and spray will do wonders. But honestly, I don't think the shade was right for you. It was too yellow. Give it another chance without the wet sponge, with a good primer, and in a different color

My mom has rosacea. Surprisingly, I bought some BB cream at a store for myself. I know BB cream is usually a light to medium coverage foundation, and its usually pretty shear, but I tried it on my mom. Light one is both of our shades. It's Nucolor BB cream. Found it at dollar tree for 1.25$ It is a hit! Covers my mom's facial redness and is a great everyday foundation for both of us! Has natural finish.
Used that stuff for years, it’s just new packaging. Great coverage but if u have even slightly dry skin it starts looking bad so definitely better in the summer
Are you sure? The older one is a 16hr wear and is still sold. Think this one is maybe a different formulation? I’m afraid it would cake up in any creases in my face

Her dolphin skin one got me who puts ten tons of elf grip primer on then the halo glow over it , it would be so thick and sticky u couldn't ware it in real life especially hot climates that would be so uncomfortable and everything would stick to ur face 👀

This made my texture look horrific! I was shocked at how bad it made my skin look! I wanted to cry I couldn’t get it off fast enough

Try using and oil or serum on face before powder. It will help the powder foundation stick better.

Max Factor have had a powder foundation for years. I bought it once by mistake. It does look super heavy though, like stage makeup. .
