Long, red hair has been a huge part of Julie’s identity for decades. So losing her hair during chemo treatment for breast cancer felt like having an important part of herself “stripped away.” Fortunately, Julie was supported throughout her treatment by the Cancer Hair Care charity. Leukemia in remission since 2021. Hair is finally getting longer its a few inches passed my shoulders but the ends are curly and keep matting. Im TERRIFIED to cut my hair even a little or let anyone touch it. I find this inspiring 🎉
Just getting my hair back after chemo and it’s a totally different texture! Very excited to be able to style it again someday.
What are chemo curls? I feel like this could have been a lot more informative of a video tbh ❤
My 18yo cousin got cancer and now 21 is in remission but his hair went from straight bowl cut like hair to bald (from chemo) when it grew back the texture totally changed and it now looks like he has a perm. His hair is curly. not tight curls but it's completely different than before he went bald. So i assume thats a side effect from the chemo.

I was asking the same question to myself......
I cut my hair shorter to expose my chemo curls it’s crazy! I had curly roots and my remaining straight natural hair ended up dry and stringy. This lady looks incredible ❤
