    Good review! I have the same bike and at almost 57 yrs old, I fully enjoy riding. For cruise control - I have an Atlas Throttle Lock which I find very effective.

      Hi Ron! It is a nice bike with good power, economy, maneuverability and comfortable too! Interesting Atlas throttle lock. Will check it out.

    Nice review of the classic Ninja 650, with one of the coolest designs it's had so far for the 2020 through 2024 model. A reliable bike and fun to ride. I can go a range of 200 miles on one tank from full to about 15 to 30 miles to spare at the fill up from the 4 gallon tank from ten of my distance tests.

      @@StreetMotoZ Thanks! It's really good to know this bike can go that far when I get lost on the back rural roads on a new adventure, with 200 miles to spare. Enjoy.

      Hi Adam! Congratulations on your Ninja 650. I have nothing bad to say about anything on that bike. Just be careful trying to drag a knee as the stock tires are not meant for track actions as they may start to slip when you get very close to dragging the knee. It is quite a spicy bike. I love it!

    What is the fuel economy on this bike ?
    Im pretty much interested in this bike because of its sport/touring Capabilities,but Fuel economy is a concern for me.
    Was thinking about getting a versys 650 since it has a larger tank but i just dont like the looks of it.
    What do you think ?

    • @StreetMotoZ
      @StreetMotoZ  8 місяців тому +2

      HI Emiliouus, the newer Ninja 650s (2019-2024) average about 57 mpg or on the interstate about 73 mpg. It is considered a sport/commuter ride. It is all personal preference for you. The Ninja 650 is the gateway to the Ninja 1000sx, while the Versys 650 is the gateway to the Versys 1000 LT. Versys is more commuter/touring focused.

    • @StreetMotoZ
      @StreetMotoZ  11 місяців тому

      Hi @jayy24195! Is it worth the money? It depends on how much you're paying for it and the condition it is in. Buying it new, it will be the most expensive with all the shipping and convenience fees that the power stores put on it. Some stores rip people off while some are reasonable. Buying used, would never pay more than 8K for a perfect very low miles

    Great content! I'm about to buy one very soon. I'm not sure if I should go with the Z650 or the Ninja 650. Which do you think is easier to use for commuting?

    • @StreetMotoZ
      @StreetMotoZ  11 місяців тому +1

      Hi @mohammedalsultan3143! Both are great bikes and ergonomically comfortable to ride. I figure when commuting you want to be comfortable and be able to do some stop and goes with ease. The Ninja does help if you are riding over 65 mph blocking the wind. I have not ridden a Z650 but it would be worth, you sitting on both bikes at the power sports store and see which is more comfortable for you. You may know but these stores encourage you sitting on them, they just don't' do the test ride thing very often. Both get great gas mileage! "Never do less than forty miles before breakfast."

    How much is the bike total with hidden fees and interest rates?

    • @StreetMotoZ
      @StreetMotoZ  Рік тому +1

      Hi @repking3188. I have learned that each power sports store selling new motorcycles is slightly different with some being fair and some being greedy. So, it is best to use the term, "out the door price" with them and be insistent on them providing that price... now if you need a loan, then you can check with multiple banks as they are not all the same too, and you can compare that with the power sports loan. Some manufacturers provide the loan too at a low interest rate. Your question does not have an exact answer. It also depends on when you buy the new bike. If it is early in the year and the bike is in demand, the power sports stores take advantage of that, and you end up paying the full rack rate. If you wait till the end of the year like in December, the bikes should be discounted and you should get a good deal, but that sales team could pad in some additional cost. I bought this bike used, with 800 miles on it and it was in top condition. 8K is about the right price if it is in top condition. 7-7.5k if it has a couple small scratches and low milage. Hope this helps!
