- Superbly situated just a short walk from Bruntsfield Links, this most impressive and must see main door flat forming part of a traditional tenement offers generously proportioned accommodation in a much sought-after area of Edinburgh’s City Centre, convenient for central universities.
With private area of garden to the front and direct access to the communal gardens at the rear, this flat offers well-proportioned accommodation throughout, and is a must view property.
Current layout is currently as a one bed, making use of the Bay Windowed sitting room with a separate large dining kitchen and box bedroom - perfect for a home office or study - but can be easily rearranged to maximise space with a open plan living kitchen area and two bedrooms.
This large main door flat within a traditional Edinburgh tenement includes an entrance Vestibule, hallway, bay Window sitting room, large dining kitchen, separate utility room, double bedroom, generous sixed box bedroom, bathroom, gas central heating, double glazing, shared rear garden.
That entire building needs a power wash!
Not enough radiators to heat that size flat effectively
I feel sorry for anyone who has to prepare a meal in that kitchen.
I can't see how anyone would be happy in a house like this--the feng shui is so horrible with the bathroom being a straight shot right from the front door, not to mention the dumpster right in front. That's a hard no.
English houses are compartmentalized. Like every part of the house is in a drawer. The kitchen is a room in itself. The living area is also another. I don't know. It looks depressing that way. I feel walled in. Walls, walls, walls galore.
Yard needs work
Why are rooms in English houses so closed off? And the kitchen sink isn’t even in the kitchen but in the “laundry area”! Yuk!
It’s not English…it’s Scottish or British.
Try a Scottish winter in an American open plan house and see what your heating bill is like.
That house has no homely atmosphere - cold and stark. Needs a personality injection.
Oh my goodnes what a poverty..
“Bedrooms” are claustrophobically small. Suitable for a short term rental I suppose.
Very poor remodel, needed a great deal more thought.
