I think it went pretty well considering it holds top 2 on the Netflix list when it aired depending on where you're at Ps. If it weren't for Extraction 2 being released at the same time, this movie might've been top 1 on the list in some countries

I mean, I get that Conrad was wrong with his methods but at the same time he's not wrong about the Clover Kingdom. The only reason that the kingdom has been prospering if because they stole the Elves magic and used it to massacre them. Black Clover is a good show but it really needs to balance out the good and evil in the citizens.
Ok, so here, the attack Yami and other captains did had not much magic in it, but because it was Dimension slash, it was able to penetrate the barrier's defense, it was mainly Yami's attack but the other captains did a push, incase its power wasn't enough, how he was able to use dimension slash?, As he was fighting the wizard king he must have slowly saved some mana for one attack, like Yuno saved for his mana sword. Now Asta, let's first understand Conrad, at first he was just toying with Asta and was going to kill him, but when Asta said "Never Giving Up is my magic" he saw himself in Asta, and the long lost hope of changing the world with peace was lighted in some corner of Conrad, so after Finral saved him and Asta fighted Conrad again he was going very easy on him, and some part of didn't wanted to hurst Asta, but at the same time he was also afraid that Asta will see the same fate as him, seeing his loved ones die because of royalty, so he gave Asta the offer to join him, even after in his second form where he absorbs all element, he wasn't like he was planning on killing, or even hurting asta, believe me if he wanted the fight would have been over in 3 seconds, Now about Asta's black form he said if he loses his will black form will be undone, black form isn't like magic, that comes from one's natural body, but it is in the five clover grimore, so whether his black form lasts or not depends upon whether Asta is able to endure the pain that comes from black form, when anti magic runs through a humans veins they should naturally die, but for Asta who doesn't have magic, didn't had magic flow through his veins even one time, so anti magic is able to flow through Asta, but because he isn't used to Anti magic flowing through his veins, it causes pain, the fight of Noelle and others vs wizard king, it was pretty balanced fight the same answer as Asta vs Conrad he wasn't giving his all, he was attacking with the intention of stopping them, he wasn't intenting to kill them or hurt them, he was a kind old man, even at the end Noelle was able to fall his robe, but not a single scratch in the end, even after was Noelle was very close he would have killed her in the spot but didn't, sigh, so this concludes the balance
Even though he went mad Conrad failed to realize that a world without smiles is the very world he hated. I guess in his broken state he failed to realize that because his hate cloud his mind it honestly quite sad.

@AshYT-jv5sk the hate is usually directed towards the animation, which admittedly isn't that great (at least when compared to other popular battle shounen released at the same time.) BUT people often forget that they're comparing this show to 12-episode shows. obviously Black Clover will have inferior animation, since it has 10x the amount of episodes. and besides, BC definitely delivered when it came to sakuga and huge fights, i always preferred the traditional animation they used for BC compared to the rotoscoping technique most modern anime use (like CSM, AOT Final Season, or JJK)
Why waiting for the movie to come out, the whole time I hoping so bad that they'd use Haruka Mirai for the end of the movie, I adore the song for the wonderful shonen cheese it brings. While watching the movie I was getting increasingly worried as it wasn't being played even in what I thought while watching was the final fight, which left me very disappointed (even if I was enjoying the movie of course). By the time the film got to this scene I had given up on the idea it'd play, so when he grabbed that sword and it started playing I (a grown man) got so excited that shouted so loud members of family genuinely thought I had hurt myself lol. I'll always look back fondly on this scene/ movie for the amount of excitement and joy it gave me in that moment.
Almost at the end of the movie, Asta reaches a state that is half Demon and half Angel, that Form is known as "Nephalem State" a combination of Magic (Mana) of all people and Anti-Magic (Anti-Mana) and I think that A moment will be shown where the people of the clover kingdom or the continent or where they most support and unite all their forces to fight against the "Final Enemy" similar to the "Mashle" manga but with a very high consequence.

As i said the Mereoleona fight was the only one that made sense. Asta wasnt eating Charmi's food in the last fight but still was equal to someone who beat up a wizard king and bunch of captains when he was weaker. Also everyone on team Noelle besides Noelle is weak af and the king they fought said he is going all out with his golem which was easily destroyed by one Noelle attack. The whole movie was just asspull fights, no story, no development just fights and fights, but at least make it make sense. Yuno and 3 weakened captains shouldn't be equal to a king, nor Noelle and the others, let alone Asta against the main one, that dude shouldnt be soloed by anyone,it just makes him feel useless af. @@omarifrance2576 Literally all the wizard kings stated at one point throughout the fights that "ok now im going all out" and still didnt kill them. As i said the Mereoleona fight was the only one that made sense. Asta wasnt eating Charmi's food in the last fight but still was equal to someone who beat up a wizard king and bunch of captains when he was weaker. Also everyone on team Noelle besides Noelle is weak af and the king they fought said he is going all out with his golem which was easily destroyed by one Noelle attack. The whole movie was just asspull fights, no story, no development just fights and fights, but at least make it make sense. Yuno and 3 weakened captains shouldn't be equal to a king, nor Noelle and the others, let alone Asta against the main one, that dude shouldnt be soloed by anyone,it just makes him feel useless af. Thats like sending Naruto alone to beat Kaguya, 10 people couldnt beat him when he was 10% of his current power, only Asta shouldn't be able to even touch him

Maybe DB only focuses on Goku and Vegeta mainly, but for the others, most of the arcs follow this route.
