I love when anime’s do these long drawn out fight scenes with absolutely no talking interrupting it. Just intense fighting and intense music and nothing else for a solid minute. Those are the best ones. I notice Black Clover does this a lot.

I’ve slept on this anime for so long , and binged it faster than any show I’ve ever seen,completely upped the standard for my top 3 and hunter x hunter is at number 1
2016 was a good year for me. Previously, Steins Gate was my favorite anime and that began airing around the same time as HxH. I don't know why it took me so long to watch it but when I started, it easily became my top 1 of all time. Finished those damn episodes so quickly too lol. Breaking Bad is a good 2nd though.
Coincidentally me as well lol. Watched so many mainstream bangers, but always avoided HxH for some reason. In less than 3 weeks I finished the anime. The only thing that got on my nerves was the freaking narrator in the chimera ant operation. The pace was extremely slow because of it and it ruined many good moments. They stretched the whole arc because of the narrator. It could have been done with 10 episodes less if they removed him and that pacing would be goated.
@@peolfpetler8500 The narrator was included because there are lots of complexity to discuss in chimera arc, the author don't want the events to be misinterpreted or understood deeply by the viewers, some situation may confuse the viewers as well. In my personal take, i like the narrator; it gives layers and different vibes for the anime .

Gon vs Hisoka is so well animated you have to slow it down to fully appreciate it. Gon coming nearly close to smacking hisoka s face, hisoka stopping his fist in front of gon to confuse him and then punch him, hisoka contracting bungee gum rapidly to let his fist automatically punch gon etc are phenomenal
Yea the first fight is one of the best ones you see and after you watch that fight for the first time, you just gotta keep watching to see other fights like it. Also the no music that they did made it all the more better

I appreciate that. I wish I could do this over again and fix the tearing issue that can be seen at certain times with frames but I'll just leave it as it is. I try to not make too many cuts or else everything is flashing before your eyes, too bad copyright reasons won't let me have what I wanted originally. Also these fights are all what I think are the best so I presume them to be the best of the series for me.
That fight was too short but I really like it a lot too for obvious reasons To me Gon x Pitou is my third favorite... second is Kurapika x Uvogin, and my favorite is Meruen x Netero
I love how the mangaka slowly builds the potential of Nen and hints at how Gon will use it in these fights. Seeing them laid out like this, you can see the connection building between self-sacrifice and Nen prowess as well as the extent Gon is willing to go to win. It starts with Kurapika’s fight against the Spiders and grows from there. From entering a loosing fight just to get one hit, to literally sacrificing his hands to win another fight, there is a greater increase in ability with a great sacrifice of his body.

What I love about the first fight is that they don't take their eyes off each other the whole fight. Every dodge, every punch, even when they were running around they kept their eyes on each other to see what the other would do and where they were. That was awesome to see again!
Well, they aren't able to since the manga is on hiatus, meaning it has no further chapters. This results in no further adaptation of the manga. We will probably not get anything new for the years to come at this rate.
To this day HunterXHunter is still MY favorite shounen had it never gone on Hiatus I think it’d mop the floor with a bunch of this new anime that has come out
What makes Hxh great is how unpredictable the story is. In most animes we can already anticipate who fights who and how the fight will end. It also doesn't follow the usual flow of an arc where the main protagonist defeats the main villain of that arc before going to the next one. Every arc is well thought off adding to that world wonderful world building.
Through playing chess with Komugi we can see Meruem was having big changes, like start to show love and empathy, to believe himself is not as strong as he thought. However, humans are not. We believe we are the most powerful creature in the world. Even can't win you, won't let you win. The fight between the chairman and the chimera ant king has lots of things to think about, especially humanity's postition in nature and envirnment protection stuff.

HxH has the perfect type of animation IMO. Too many impact frames in anime now and not enough pure art. Something about HxH it’s just so damn crisp while also having that demon level choreography for the fighting. The double foot drop kick move from above always slaps in every fight. Even the voice acting top tier in both Japanese and English. The way they depict bloodlust… everything is just top top tier… I love HxH and while it’s not my favorite manga of all time it’s my favorite anime by far. Movie stuff had too much fan service for me but I did like the occasional scene

Tenho orgulho de dizer que esse anime é uma obra prima.
E mais, a parte do Netero treinando (sacrifício e gratidão), é uma lição e inspiração pra levar pra vida toda.

It's a shame most of the dialogue was cut out, the dialogue in between is what really make these fights extra special.

I must admit Gon beating up Pitou was so satisfying for me
I hated that scene.. even though i didn't like that she killed Kite, she was still my favorite villain.. also i never liked Gon.

HxH has the perfect type of animation IMO. Too many impact frames in anime now and not enough pure art. Something about HxH it’s just so damn crisp while also having that demon level choreography for the fighting. The double foot drop kick move from above always slaps in every fight. Even the voice acting top tier in both Japanese and English.
The way they depict bloodlust… everything is just top top tier… I love HxH and while it’s not my favorite manga of all time it’s my favorite anime by far.
Movie stuff had too much fan service for me but I did like the occasional scene

The sequence for their whole fight was so well thought out. I think that fight in general is underrated because of how many other "bigger" fights overshadow Gon v Genthru
