I love when anime’s do these long drawn out fight scenes with absolutely no talking interrupting it. Just intense fighting and intense music and nothing else for a solid minute. Those are the best ones. I notice Black Clover does this a lot.

I’ve slept on this anime for so long , and binged it faster than any show I’ve ever seen,completely upped the standard for my top 3 and hunter x hunter is at number 1
2016 was a good year for me. Previously, Steins Gate was my favorite anime and that began airing around the same time as HxH. I don't know why it took me so long to watch it but when I started, it easily became my top 1 of all time. Finished those damn episodes so quickly too lol. Breaking Bad is a good 2nd though.
Coincidentally me as well lol. Watched so many mainstream bangers, but always avoided HxH for some reason. In less than 3 weeks I finished the anime. The only thing that got on my nerves was the freaking narrator in the chimera ant operation. The pace was extremely slow because of it and it ruined many good moments. They stretched the whole arc because of the narrator. It could have been done with 10 episodes less if they removed him and that pacing would be goated.
@@peolfpetler8500 The narrator was included because there are lots of complexity to discuss in chimera arc, the author don't want the events to be misinterpreted or understood deeply by the viewers, some situation may confuse the viewers as well. In my personal take, i like the narrator; it gives layers and different vibes for the anime .

Gon vs Hisoka is so well animated you have to slow it down to fully appreciate it. Gon coming nearly close to smacking hisoka s face, hisoka stopping his fist in front of gon to confuse him and then punch him, hisoka contracting bungee gum rapidly to let his fist automatically punch gon etc are phenomenal
Yea the first fight is one of the best ones you see and after you watch that fight for the first time, you just gotta keep watching to see other fights like it. Also the no music that they did made it all the more better

I love how the mangaka slowly builds the potential of Nen and hints at how Gon will use it in these fights. Seeing them laid out like this, you can see the connection building between self-sacrifice and Nen prowess as well as the extent Gon is willing to go to win. It starts with Kurapika’s fight against the Spiders and grows from there. From entering a loosing fight just to get one hit, to literally sacrificing his hands to win another fight, there is a greater increase in ability with a great sacrifice of his body.

Well, they aren't able to since the manga is on hiatus, meaning it has no further chapters. This results in no further adaptation of the manga. We will probably not get anything new for the years to come at this rate.
What I love about the first fight is that they don't take their eyes off each other the whole fight. Every dodge, every punch, even when they were running around they kept their eyes on each other to see what the other would do and where they were. That was awesome to see again!

What makes Hxh great is how unpredictable the story is. In most animes we can already anticipate who fights who and how the fight will end. It also doesn't follow the usual flow of an arc where the main protagonist defeats the main villain of that arc before going to the next one. Every arc is well thought off adding to that world wonderful world building.
Through playing chess with Komugi we can see Meruem was having big changes, like start to show love and empathy, to believe himself is not as strong as he thought. However, humans are not. We believe we are the most powerful creature in the world. Even can't win you, won't let you win. The fight between the chairman and the chimera ant king has lots of things to think about, especially humanity's postition in nature and envirnment protection stuff.

I appreciate you editing out everything but the fighting, but I feel there is something really lacking about the dynamic of the gon hisoka fight when you also remove gon returning hisoka's badge from the exam. It shows both opponents are in it for the love of improvment, and is an incredibly well written moment when their very different senses honor overlap for just a short moment.

He can only gain that same power if he trained endlessly for years, he is not going to do that because his goals are complete. Gon has no story now. All he can do is live without Nen and that's it. It gives other characters a chance to develop even further which is what they are doing in the manga with Kurapika, Leorio and the Phantom Troupe. The only time Gon would be brought back is if he was invaded with a problem.

The neferpitou vs gon fight was so haunting, not just because of gon sacrificing his future as a nen user but also due to pitous unrelenting loyalty to meruem, being happy that all of gons rage was directed their way instead of meruems. What a show
This anime is so good that my favorite scene isn’t even a fight. I’m talking about the episode 111 where Netero and his team arrive at the castle, narrator-san was the MVP of this episode and it’s just amazingly good.
The sequence for their whole fight was so well thought out. I think that fight in general is underrated because of how many other "bigger" fights overshadow Gon v Genthru

For me, the most underrated battle in HxH has to be the fight of Kite, Gon and Killua VS the Centaur ant and the rest. The exictment I got from seeing the team get their first real fight against the ants was incredible. I love the pacing of the fight, the weight of the punches, the strategy, the surprises. It's just a fight scene that alludes excitement and energy.

What makes Hxh great is how unpredictable the story is. In most animes we can already anticipate who fights who and how the fight will end. It also doesn't follow the usual flow of an arc where the main protagonist defeats the main villain of that arc before going to the next one. Every arc is well thought off adding to that world wonderful world building.

Through playing chess with Komugi we can see Meruem was having big changes, like start to show love and empathy, to believe himself is not as strong as he thought. However, humans are not. We believe we are the most powerful creature in the world. Even can't win you, won't let you win. The fight between the chairman and the chimera ant king has lots of things to think about, especially humanity's postition in nature and envirnment protection stuff.

I appreciate you editing out everything but the fighting, but I feel there is something really lacking about the dynamic of the gon hisoka fight when you also remove gon returning hisoka's badge from the exam. It shows both opponents are in it for the love of improvment, and is an incredibly well written moment when their very different senses honor overlap for just a short moment.
Well, this is to show what are the best fights, not moments of the fights. It's raw fighting as it's supposed to be for this type of video. I do get what you're saying.

lol. He can't do nothing about it when it's really bad condition. We just gotta hold it and wait for him to do a big drop of story or he passes first. At least the anime ended at a good spot with Gon's story ending.

@@K2_Kuze his story didnt end, since we saw that all the power he would ever had was in his adulthood, there is still probably more to his story, considering that also killua will grow to be stronger, i think gon’s story didnt end
@@justsomeguywhoisasaitamaforfun Gon has nothing else to do. Just because we saw him gain an insane amount of power that transformed him years older doesn't mean Gon is going to be like that. He can only gain that same power if he trained endlessly for years, he is not going to do that because his goals are complete. Gon has no story now. All he can do is live without Nen and that's it. It gives other characters a chance to develop even further which is what they are doing in the manga with Kurapika, Leorio and the Phantom Troupe. The only time Gon would be brought back is if he was invaded with a problem.
@@K2_Kuze who knows dude, the series were intended at first to be a loong story like naruto or one piece, so we might see him again! and also alluka can bring back his nen, and alllso he didnt lose his aura he only lost his nen so he can learn again.. anyways i hope we can see him again, i only said what i said in the first comment becuz he said, i need the power that i will ever have, so he will have that power again at some point

The neferpitou vs gon fight was so haunting, not just because of gon sacrificing his future as a nen user but also due to pitous unrelenting loyalty to meruem, being happy that all of gons rage was directed their way instead of meruems. What a show

This anime is so good that my favorite scene isn’t even a fight. I’m talking about the episode 111 where Netero and his team arrive at the castle, narrator-san was the MVP of this episode and it’s just amazingly good.

For me, the most underrated battle in HxH has to be the fight of Kite, Gon and Killua VS the Centaur ant and the rest. The exictment I got from seeing the team get their first real fight against the ants was incredible. I love the pacing of the fight, the weight of the punches, the strategy, the surprises. It's just a fight scene that alludes excitement and energy.
